Xander looked at Catherine. "They were interested in me..? Huh.. There were a few that were pretty but none of them that I was completely interested in. Plus I have someone that I already sort of like." He didn't have much interest in the women he had met, having already someone that he had in mind.
They reach the dinning hall and there was food already set because of the time they had arrived and he pushed a chair back for Catherine.

Catherine laughed a little, amused that he didn’t know that they liked him. She didn’t press on the subject, but was very curious as to who he was talking about. “Thank you,” she said, sitting down in the chair he had pushed out for her. She crossed her legs underneath the table and waited for him to dish his food before she would start.

Xander sat next to her and grabs some stuff then starts to eat. "Your turn now. Has there been anyone that you have met that you have some interest in? He was curious on what she would say, hopefully she didn't have someone else that she was going after or he would be really disappointed.

Catherine nodded and started to dish out food. She paused at at his question and thought how to word it before continuing to get food. She shrugged and looked over at him when she was done thinking “There’s someone I have interest in, yes, but I don’t know if it’s reciprocated,” she replied, giving him a small smile. She took a bite of her food, still curious who the person was that he had interest in.

Xander just became even more curious to know who that was that she had interest in. "I am sure it would work out if you just .told that person. You are a really kind person so I'd be shocked if it didnt work." He begins to eat his food, thinking of who she might of met that she would end up liking.

Catherine smiled a little and shrugged "Yeah.. Well, I don't think a guy like him would be interested in someone like me." she replied, trying to remain nonchalant about the topic. She ate some more food before looking up at him again "Well, but, what about this girl you're interested in? What's she like?" she asked after she swallowed food, her curiosity was eating at her, and she had a habit about being too nosey. Hopefully he didn't mind.

Come on you got to have a little bit more faith in yourself. Anyone would be lucky to have you be with them."He lightly punched her shoulder, more as a friendly jester than anything else, he had also made sure she wasnt holding anything at the time so she wouldnt drop it. "The girl that I am interest in, is beautiful. Way more beautiful than the ladies I met in town. She is kind and caring. She is a very interesting person to talk to and be around. In a good way of course."

Catherine laughed softly at his playful punch and scrunched her nose playfully in response. She listened to him describe the girl he liked and couldn’t help but feel another pang of jealousy, but forced it away, it wasn’t something she should even feel. She smiled at him “She sounds wonderful,” she replied before eating more of her food.

"She is quite wonderful." He smiled at Catherine then continue to eat food for a bit. "What about your guy? What's so special about him?" Seeing how far he could go towards knowing who that guy is she liked. If he found out who it was he might go talk to the person. (xD)

Catherine smiled lightly, still feeling a small pang of jealous for whatever girl this was. She smiled a little when he asked “Well, he’s kind and caring of other people, he’s soo brave, and charming. He’s handsome and funny..” she trailed off, and bit her bottom lip a little to stop herself from talking. She looked up at him again and smiled a little embarrassed “But, like I said, I don’t think I have much of a chance.” she added with a small flustered laugh, brushing a strand of hair back and took another bite of her food.
