”nice to meet you.” she murmured and then blushed until her cheeks were bright red. “no, i don’t think i am her girlfriend.”

“Not yet,” Maya winked, exiting the room quickly after. Sasha smiled sheepishly, “Sorry about her.”

”it’s okay...” she murmured as she buried her face into one of sasha’s pillow. “my face is as red as a tomato.”

Sasha hide her breathily laughter. “Mine too.”

she smiled a bit and sat up when ske heard one of sasha’s siblings complain that they didn’t want lexa in their house. “i have to go work.” she said quickly because she didn’t want to hear anymore bad things about herself.

Lexa had misheard and nobody said anything bad about her, but Sasha didn’t know why she had to go to work suddenly. “Are you sure?” She asked, “you really don’t seem well, you could rest more if you need it?”

she sat down and laid her head on sasha’s shoulder. somebody knocked on her door and lexa quickly sat up.

Sasha’s two other sisters came in. They smiled at Lexa. “Nice to meet you,” said the 9 year old. “Are you our new sister?” The 7 year old asked excitedly.

lexa shyly nodded and looked up at the two other girls. she also saw the boy at the door way.

Emile offered Lexa a toothy smile. “You’re Lexa, right? I’m in math with you and Sasha but that’s when you were in the hospital today.” He smiled sadly, “I’m sorry you had to go through that. But, I’m glad you’re here!”
