Astarot landed back inside the throne room, where he was greeted by a few of his guards. He then folded his wings back, and looked at the entrance to the room." send a message to my mate and daughter, I have an important matter to discuss with them", he said. Watching as two of the guards nod, and dash off in their respected directions.

Kyloth lifted his head up, alongside Enellianous as a guard approached the two. Considering they returned to their posts outside of Nezula's door, when they finished talking to her. Kyloth nodded, once the message was said. Before entering Nezula's room, folding his wings closely to his side." Nezula, your father has asked for both you and your mother, it is urgent", he said.

Nilanth walked over to the pile of food, and found a deer. Before offering to share it with Tattken, as the two joined Xyalon." I also heard that Tattken met a female today, you should better keep it to yourself, in case your parents hear", she said quietly, so only her two friends can hear her.

Tattken gave a nod in reply, before looking in the direction of where his family slept and stayed. He then sighed, and turned back to the shared meal.

Sunlight looked up from the scrolls the the guard who came up to her. She listened before nodding,"Very well. Thank you." She said, getting up and stretching her wings out for a minute before placing them back at her side. Thankfully, the library was just down the hall from the throne room. Sunlight turned the corner, walked down to the middle of the hall, and then walked through the throne room doors. She smiled at the sight of her mate and walked over to him. The queen soon stood by Astarot and nuzzled him a little.

Nezula raised her head off her paws, looking at Kyloth as he spoke,"Urgent?" She repeated. Without another word, the princess stood up, opened her wings, and flow out of her room and down the halls. After a few, she came through the doors, seeing her parents,"Dad? Mom? What's going on?" She asked almost right away before landing on the ground near them.

Xyalon started to eat the antelope as he listened to Nilanth before his head shot up. Looking at the healer, the fire dragon just had to ask,"I'm going to guess you accidentally heard me say that, didn't you?" He asked before nodding in agreement.

Astarot looked at his mate and smiled, as he returned the nuzzle. Before looking up, when he heard his daughters voice. He then took a deep breath, before looking at his two family members." I've called you both here, to help me with a very important decision, it rests on a hatchling, who's species was thought to have been extinct, Nezula, recently today, Kadaqua came to us, and spoke of a crystal hatchling, I soon left to see for myself, but it came to my notice, that if we gave her to any other dragon, there may be panic or the news might be sent to our enemies, which is why kadaqua passed onto me another option, and that is to take in the hatchling as one of our own, I told her, that I would speak to you both first, so I can hear your opinions and to make sure that you will be fine with the idea, for it may be the only way to protect the hatchling from harm, I have no doubt that in my absence, your mother was searching for more information on the species", he explained.

Nilanth laughed a little, as she nudged her friend with a paw." your not really the most silent dragon, amongst our group, Xyalon, even a bird could hear you from the highest cliff top", she replied. While hearing a muffled chuckle, coming from Tattken as he took a bite out of the deer. That made her smile, knowing it was a way to try and get off of the subject about Tattkens parents.

Sunlight listened to what Astarot had to say before nodding a little as she thought,"I see. I believe Kadaqua is right. I honestly don't mind if the hatchling stays with us." A smile came onto her face,"Besides, the little one may be without family now." She said before slightly frowning,"You're right as well. I have been in the library searching for information. Unfortunately, the scrolls and books are old, the lettering's a bit smudged, and a lot of it is in the tongue of the ancient dragon. It's been a while since I read in the ancients, so I will probably need to get Arazmun to help with translating it. Besides that, I'll be more then happy to help watch the hatchling as she stays with us." She answered, the smile returning.

Nezula's eyes grew wide,"A crystal hatchling?" She repeated before thinking carefully. Did she really want another dragon in the castle. She lightly shook her head to push those thoughts to the back of her mind. Now wasn't the time to be selfish,"Well, if it's the last of its kind, it needs to be protected, right? If so, I think we should take her in." She said, sounding responsible, for maybe 10 seconds,"And if you do decide to bring the hatchling here, can I maybe have a little less classes juring the day?" The princess asked, already guessing the answer.

Xyalon snickered,"I'm not that loud." He stated in his defense,"Okay, maybe I am a little." He joked before eating some of the antelope again.

Astarot listened to his mate carefully, as she spoke. Nodding in understanding, as she mentioned that some of the books were in another language. Before turning his attention to his daughter, to hear her opinion. He was impressed at first, by her decision. Before letting out a sigh, and went back to his more serious state." Nezula, your lessons are important, if anything happens to me or your mother, our kingdom will look to you for guidance, and if you are not ready, it may fall to chaos", he replied. He then closed his eyes, before a small smile appeared on his face. He then reopened his eyes, and looked at her with a softer gaze." however... we shall see, I will have to speak to your mother about this in private, but, if I do shorten your lessons, you must promise to attend the rest or else, now if you'll excuse me I'll head back to Kadaqua to let her know of our decision", he added. He then nuzzled his mate once more, before gently nuzzling his daughter. He then stretched his wings out, and took off into the air outside.

Tattken laughed a little more, alongside Nilanth as they listened to their friend. Before turning back towards their meal, and began eating again.

Sunlight smiled at Astarot and their daughter before she nodded in agreement. She watched as her mate flow off before looking at the princess, slightly raising a brow at the look on her face,"Nez, you're doubting. What's wrong?" She asked kindly.

Nezula giggled a little as her father nuzzled her before looking at the ground into deep thought as he left. It yook her a minute to realize that Sunlight was speaking to her. Nez looked at her,"It's nothing. Just thinking as all." The princess replied.

Kadaqua was checking the cupboards in the main room of the healing bay. The crystal hatchling had woken up just moments ago, so she had given her a plump rabbit, which the little one seemed to be enjoying.

Astarot flew back towards the healing bay, before landing on the ground carefully. Tucking his wings in, as he walked down one of the hallways.

Kadaqua heard the door open, so she looked towards its the little hall that lead to the front door. She smiled a little at who she saw,"Siré, you're back." She said as she flew towards him, hovering in the air at her eye level as she gave a bow at the head,"Have you made your decision?" She asked.

Astarot smiled, and gave a nod in greeting back. Before shifting his wings slightly, as he listened to her." Yes, I have, I've spoken to my family, and they have both agreed with your Idea, though I sense doubt in my daughter, I am willing to watch over the hatchling", he replied.

Kadaqua gave a quick nod with a smile,"Alright. She actually woke up again a few moments ago, and by the way she was eating that rabbit I gave her, I think she's done it by now." She said, slowly flying towards the patient's room and then opened the door. She wondered why the king sensed that his daughter was doubting, but she knew better then to ask.

The crystal hatchling had just finished eating the rabbit, dried blood on her face and claws. She was laying on her back, giggling a little as all four of her paws caught her tail, holding it close to her underbelly.
