Suho felt a very faint flush come to his cheeks as Lan complemented his acting skills - he knew he was a popular and very famous actor, but was still quite humbled by such remarks. He felt honored to be able to be viewed in such regards. He smiled at her, and responded, "Of course. I have high hopes, honestly." He then nodded as she expressed her excitement to start filming the movie, in the most humble and calm way he might have ever witnessed - graceful, of course. "As am I; this seems like it will be a pretty fun and promising project," he responded, running a hand through his hair out of habit as he spoke. He was glad that she seemed like she would be pleasant to work with, and was easy to get along with.
Upon hearing Lan express the interest in asking a few questions, Mr. Choi nodded, "Of course - go right ahead." He nodded, inviting her to ask as many questions as she pleased. Suho noticed the seriousness in her tone - she seemed, despite being quite graceful and calm, to be quite direct, ans like she was taking this quite seriously. He could tell, already, that she had a great resolve for the acting industry. He also knew that this meant Director Cha would probably be pleased with her performances and work ethic, which was definitely a big win for her. "Ah - of course! Excellent question," Mr. Choi responded, his gaze shifting over to the other three men, "I believe they can answer that quite satisfactorily." Director Cha nodded briefly, then got straight to business. "The opening scene will start with Hana's narration, explaining her backstory of why she cannot kiss a man, and why so many of her past relationships have failed - of course, her narration will be a voice-over whilst scenes from her child and teen years play along, so we will have you record that audio separately, after the opening scenes have been filmed, Miss Lan. You will, of course, also be joined by several of your costars for these scenes - primarily, Seon Lee and Yeonmi Lee, who will, of course, be playing the roles of Bogum Lee and Song Kim," he began to explain as he set a file that he had been holding under his arm on the desk, opened it, flipped through the pages, and then handed each of them a copy of the movie's script. "We will begin the scene with Hana heading to her classroom; she is professional and composed, yet obviously fuming, judging from her serious expression. The tone of this scene, however, will be more lighthearted, after her initial explosion upon finding her class goofing off. From there, we will see her engage in interactions with Song Kim, Bogum Lee, and of course Seon Jin. These scenes will be less serious and somber than the first scene, and will also be more comedic." "We would like to convey the tone that is displayed within the webcomic, highlighting Hana's upset demeanor, but also encapsulating the comedic and lighthearted undertones that the author has illustrated through Hana's animated expressions. We believe this can be perfectly achieved through body language, facial expressions, and specific vocal inflections that can match the tone that the author was trying to express and convey," Producer Yoon chimed in. "Exactly," Director Cha nodded, "There should be an overall lighthearted theme to begin, throughout these scenes. For your characters, specifically, Hana will be more dejected, grouchy, and somber in some of these opening scenes. Although, her character is, overall, more lighthearted and positive - though, she's also a bit of a worrier. Seon Jin will notably be more stiff, cold, and serious than the other characters, though will loosen up over time. But, overall, his seriousness should enchance the more comedic scenes throughout the film, including the part in scene 4 where Hana realizes that she has accidentally kissed him, instead of Bogum Lee." Suho thought for a moment, taking these words in carefully as he thought about how to compose himself for this role. Director Cha then added, "Go ahead and read through, real quick, all the way to the end of scene 4 (ooc: I'm thinking "scene 4" will be the very end of the first chapter of the Webtoon, lol); and please keep those copies of the scripts to memorize, as well as to reference back to. Also feel free to flip through the actual webcomic, if you have not, already, to see how the author wrote the scenes. We would like to try to stay as close to the original material as we can. I hope that this is a satisfactory answer, though if anything else needs cleared up, please let us know."
Suho nodded and thanked the director as he handed one of the script's copies to him, making a mental note to read more of the webcomic in his spare time. His gaze was on the movie's script as Director Cha and the producers spoke, and while he was very obviously listening and following along well, nodding at their points, he was also already scanning through the lines, in order to try to start getting a good visualization, or at least a rough outline, of how the scenes could potentially play out. He started getting a vision for the character he was playing, and began to think of certain mannerisms and expressions he could you to really convey the desired effects of the character. Meanwhile, Manager Kim was silent; very unlike him, during these types of discussions, since he usually had a list of them. But perhaps it was something that had to do with whatever had just been discussed outside of the room, Suho wondered?

Lan Xia couldn’t help but notice the faint flush that crept onto Suho’s cheeks as she complimented his acting skills. Despite his fame, there was a humility in him that felt rare, and it intrigued her. He responded with a genuine smile, and there was something reassuring about his calm confidence. His words were modest, but there was no denying his talent. Lan Xia’s excitement grew a little more, especially knowing she’d be working alongside someone like him.

As Director Cha and Producer Yoon began to explain the opening scenes, Lan Xia’s focus sharpened. She always took her roles seriously, and this one was no different. The character of Hana seemed like a delicate balance—graceful but with a fiery edge, and with just the right touch of humor. It would be important to convey that lighthearted yet somber tone that the author had so carefully illustrated in the webcomic. The idea of matching Hana's animated expressions to her serious yet comedic nature was something Lan Xia was eager to bring to life.

While the discussion continued, Lan Xia’s gaze occasionally flickered to Suho. He sat there, absorbed in the script, already mentally visualizing how he would approach his role as Seon Jin. His focus was evident, and she could tell he was carefully considering every detail of his character. His serious, stiff demeanor seemed to suit the role well, but Lan Xia was curious to see how he would balance that with the comedic moments that would arise. Like her, he was thinking of the small nuances that would define his character, and she respected that.

As the meeting continued, Lan Xia’s thoughts were already starting to form around her character, Hana. She could sense the passion from everyone in the room, and as she looked at Suho, she realized that with him and the rest of the cast, this project had the potential to be something truly special.

Suho glanced over at Lan Xia as the discussion went on, noticing just how intently the woman had been listening and observing minute details - details that would seem insignificant to the average person, but that were monumental to those in show business. It truly was the small things that made an exponential difference, sometimes. Those were the things that made it more realistic, more convincing; they're the things that really make a character jump off the page, and come to life. It was extremely important, and any good actor or actress definitely knew that. They always prioritized key attention to detail. He was relieved to see that she already seemed so focused and committed to the role. He had a sneaking suspicion that they would not only work well together, but also that they would likely get along quite well. Of course, first impressions were oftentimes deceiving, so he couldn't judge based on this interaction, alone. However, from what his first impressions were of her, she seemed quite easy to talk to, grateful, gracious, humble, and quite genuine and transparent. He certainty liked that, those were all great and very important skills to have in this line of work. Having a very strong resolve was also important, so that the industry wouldn't eventually chew you up and spit you out, and from what he could gauge, so far, she appeared to have that, as well - ans in a more graceful way than he could have ever thought possible.
His attention the returned to the four men sitting across from them, as the conversation went on, and the wheels continued to turn in his mind about ideas for his character. He wanted to make sure that everything was just right, from every mannerism, to every facial expression, to every . He had vowed to make each new role, and each new project, even better than the last one. He was always aspiring to be better at his craft; and that determination and commitment to his acting was, by and large, why he was so successful. He was ever-evolving in his skills, and always had new things to learn. He strongly believed that there was always room for improvement, and that there was always going to be someone better than you, which is one of the reasons as to why he stayed so humble, and never got too cocky, nor full of himself. And, honestly, he was quite excited to film thks movie - more excited than he's been to film a lot of things, lately. This time, he had a particularly excellent cast to work with, as well as excellent producers, and an excellent director. And he was excited to work with someone like Lan Xia, who truly seemed to want to perfect her craft as much as possible. He could see this movie not only being a huge and successful hit, but also a project that will be very fun to film. He knew that he'd be quite sad to see the filming end; sure, it would be a decent amount of time before that happened, considering the fact that they were just getting started. But he couldn't help but feel that he'd be particularly drawn to this role, and would likely grow attached to, and favor, this one.
Suho could tell that Lan Xia would fit this role well, and the more she spoke, the more he could see why Director Cha was so adamant that she be the one to play the role of the leading lady in the movie. He was also excited to see what doors this movie would open up for her, in the future, and was excited to see how far she'd go, as an actress. He wished her nothing but success, in the future, as a direct result of the film. Impressive, he thought to himself, upon noting his observations of the young woman. His attention was turned back to Mr. Choi as he then nodded and asked Lan Xia, "Did that answer your questions well enough, Miss Lan? And did you have any further questions? Or did either of you have any further comments?" Suho remained silent for a moment, his gaze shifting over to Lan Xia, again. He, of course, was being polite, deciding to allow her to go first, especially considering the fact that they had asked her, first.

ooc: If you want/need to make the npc's talk, you're welcome to, too, lol! ^-^ No worries, if not, though!

Lan Xia's gaze remained steady on Suho as he spoke, though her mind was already racing through the conversation. The way he observed her so intently didn’t go unnoticed. It was rare to find someone so perceptive and thoughtful, and she appreciated the fact that he took note of the little details—those same details she believed would make their roles shine. It was comforting to know that he was equally dedicated to his craft. She could tell that he was the kind of person who constantly pushed himself, never content with just "good enough," and that kind of determination was something she respected deeply. She’d seen his work, admired it from afar, but now sitting next to him, she could sense that drive in him in a way that was tangible, almost contagious.

She adjusted in her seat slightly, folding her hands in her lap as she listened to the question directed at her. She gave a small nod, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. "Yes, Mr. Choi, your answer was very insightful. It definitely clears things up for me," she said, her voice calm and even. She could already feel the collaborative energy building between the group, which was something she thrived in. "As for further questions… nothing more at the moment, but I’ll definitely reach out if anything comes to mind later. And I’m really looking forward to seeing how things evolve with the character, as well as with the team as a whole." Her gaze shifted briefly back to Suho. His quiet confidence had a way of putting her at ease, and she couldn't deny the flicker of excitement growing inside her for the project.

The cast was shaping up to be something truly special, and with Suho’s presence, the bar was already set high. She would make sure to meet it, of course, and hopefully, exceed it.

"I’m really looking forward to working with all of you," she added, directing her words to the table at large, "and I can’t wait to see what we’ll bring to the screen together."

Her mind was still turning over the details, but for now, she let the silence fall, allowing the group to think and react to her words. This was only the beginning, and already, it felt like the start of something she couldn’t wait to be a part of.
