a small figure raced by in the darkness. the werewolf chased after it, legs pumping hard as he forced himself to catch up with the little animal. it almost escaped into a hole, but he managed to pounce and snap his jaws around the rabbit's neck, cracking it in one swift movement. he lifted his head, taking a quick scan of the area before he trotted off proudly to find a spot to eat. he wasn't thinking about that dog anymore. in fact, he'd almost completely forgotten about her, until the weight he put on his paw made him buckle slightly and he huffed, the rabbit falling from his mouth. he paused, pulling the injured paw up to his chest as he bent down to scoop up his meal. then he limped off, finding an empty clearing where he flopped to the ground and dropped his dinner, preparing to dig in. he was just opening his mouth to eat when a sound off in the trees caught his attention. his ears flicked in that direction, twitching when he heard another noise. something was nearby, and as he waited longer, a familiar scent found his nose. it was her, that dog from this morning. she must be out looking for him, otherwise why would she be out in the forest this late? he had to wonder, still, what her intentions were. maybe she was planning on hunting him for her owner.

standing up, he picked up his rabbit and began making his way towards the strange dog, finding her scent as he began to come up on her. careful not to alert her by stepping on any leaves or branches, he finally crept up behind her, staying a few feet back. he suddenly dropped his rabbit on the ground, creating a soft thump. "what are you doing out here? it's dangerous at night."
