Sheik had taken up the lead while Magnus trotted alongside her, the two continuing in silence. Magnus kept checking back over his shoulder at their new companions. It was him who gave in first and spoke lowly to his best friend. "Do you really trust them all?" He mumbled softly.
Sheik considered it for a long moment. "I do. They have an air of honesty about them, and their first reaction when we blundered in was to protect the pups. Plus, they clearly know something we do not. Those injuries were not dealt by normal means." She paused, thinking. "Those creatures we've seen in the distance, the ones who separated us from Íþró and Glanni, perhaps this pack has experience with them." She continued their private conversation.
Magnus frowned, his shoulders slumping at the mention of his missing child. Glanni, he did not care for, but Íþró had a connection with the other pup, so he would put his life on hold to find the dark grey one too. "Its been nearly a month, and I've not even a trace of them." He sighed with a defeated air. "After these folks all are patched up, could you spare Roman for me? I'd like to at least do a sweep of this area we are leaving behind."
The broken tone to his voice was more than enough to convince Sheik. "Of course, Maggi. You can take whoever you need."

Jahara had fallen into step beside Cylex and overheard most of the conversation. "How about I go with Cylex, then, when he goes to get these herbs y'all speak of." She offered. "I'll make sure he doesn't injure himself further and, if he does, I could easily carry him back." She flicked her tail with a gleam in her eye. "Or, of course, you could inform me and one of your group-mates of where these herbs are located, that way you could remain at my camp and help watch over the pups while we go to collect them." She offered, speaking directly to Cylex this time. It was a light tease, an attempt to get the brown and white male to remain at camp and rest, while giving him a perfectly sound excuse to do so and retain his pride.

Cylex took a moment to softly look at her with a gentle smile before Blaze and Red scolded the male " You can pup sit him if you wish, though of course we wont really stop you from going with him, since we can't it through his tightest skull!" Blaze gently called at Cylex knowing he could hear more perfectly than ever and hated the pup treatment. Red gently took over and smiled at Jahara "Feel free to be in his guidance dear, if you think it's best though you'd have to deal with his stubborness in that case, it's not really that bad." The Vil'deerian hound couldn't help a slight giggle. Cylex's lips were grumbling at it before the brown and white canine huffed out an exhale he looked back at the female and made eye contact "Jahara, i don't do stay put. I know and dunderstand you want to help i apperiacte your kindness" He spoke softly "I don't mind having company while grabbing the herbs at all." just lightly shaking his head. A smirk slid up his lips with his own tease in response to her own "I doubt you'd be able to carry me back if i collapse, i wouldn't wanna break ye."

Others watched them conversate only some with disgust "Euuugh.. They get along So well it's grossing me out." Stormcrasher said with halfly disgusted expression like he's about to cringe. "Oh give him a break." DarkBlaze responded. Yet Storm only rolled his eyes. "How about i give you a break."
"Is that a challenge." The males we interrupted before anthing could begin when Cylex took only a second to turn his attnetion to them "Enough!" His deep voice commanded, turning his attention back to Jahara "My apologies for their behavour. They tend to act like pups when it suits them." lifting his head to glance at the sky caused his glasses to glint in the light of it. "So Jahara, what seems to interest you in walking with me, to-to the Redurfo, feeling tensed? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, just corious." He spoke gently wanting to know Jahara and her friends more and closer.
Cy's group had recently noticed the young had fallen asleep, which made them warmly smile. "They'll be sleeping soundly tonight.. Or maybe prance around, who knows." Blaze joked around, he had warmed up to Shiek and her friends un-noticingly, guess he never really minded meeting new comers that weren't hostile or atleast an enemy.

Jahara snorted in pretend offense and drew herself up to her full height. "You jest, I hope. I may be growing still, but I am a Hyperion Hound. I could easily carry you, or any of your team. Even Magnus could pull off such a feat, skinny as he may be." She raised her voice at the end, calling out to her shorter friend, teasing tone fully apparent.
"Ey! I'm not skinny!" Magnus called back at once. "I am a well muscled specimen, thank you very much." He sounded snappy but couldn't help a grin breaking out at the familiar banter.
The two of them pulled faces at eachother - fully prepared to start bickering, before Sheik intervened and pulled Magnus's attention back to herself with a laugh.

At Cylex's question, Jahara shrugged. "I am curious myself, really. You speak of these herbs as if they are a wonder. We ourselves have our own way of treating the wounded, but perhaps yours may hold better." She offered with a shrug. "That and it wouldn't hurt to get to know you better, if we are to be allies. Besides, you look ready to fall." She grinned. "I wouldn't want you to push yourself too hard and injure yourself further."

"Oh you little tease.." He slighlty grinned with one of those familiar tones that got the others to slightly worry when he seemed to lean to her a tad "I may be limping right now, i may be hunched and seem leaned.. But believe me, for a hybrid like myself you are no trouble.." He ended up with almost a whisper, winking even if she might or might not be able to see it before they returned their pace. He wore a friendly smirk as he listened to his surroundings, chuckling at Magnus' pout, slightly steadying Jahara aswell before something could go off the cliff.

"You say.. Well i can tell you more about the herbs, and they do work very well with injuries, even such as my own. But i will have to clean up my wound a bit probably, i donno how infected it may be, it's not risky to use the herbs on infected wound if the case is critical as heck and all, it's just better to have them clean. The herbs do hold pretty good, but some think it's uncomfortable by the looks beacuse you have to put them on, and well opening them gotta be quite careful, you leave them on for certain duration of time then take 'em off to find a healed wound, yeah sure some scars are still left and most are really nicely visible but it does it's job. I'd be glad to share those with your pack."
Cylex took a good and careful listen to her words and notices to her tones of expression "Feeling a bit.. Pushy?" he gently bumped her on the side with a chuckle. "Don't worry i know it's drainning me but i'm still fighting, after all i'm still alive aren't i?" he sighlty tilted his head showing his teethy smile "I tend to be tougher than i look, but i'm no mister fantastic. We all have our flaws and our uniques." he let out a relaxed sigh.
Mucle male thought for a second returning to the thought of the herbs "I uhh.. I could take you to those who are more near a stream, y'know, just for the sake of it ,they don't only make good healers, the also make a delicious treat you could drool for. At least those who bother to try enjoying it." he then chuckled adding a bit "Just don't sniff one of the open point of them or inhale harshly, it wont hurt you, it'll just have errr... well sort of an affect, it dephends really, nothing bad but mainly i've seen it making creatures sort of high making them feel like their in the clouds instead of their paws touching the ground."

"Sounds like these herbs are a lot of work for a sketchy reward." Jahara tilted her head to the side, considering. "I suppose they're still worth checking out however, if you believe they will aide you and your team." Her lips curled into a slight smile around her protruding eye teeth. "My pack, however, will most likely stick to our tried and true methods. Roman is rather set in stone, he'd throw a fit if I demanded he use these herbs instead of his favored methods." She laughed, crystal clear. "Though his methods include having his daughter sit on anybody who wont listen to his instructions - so you may want to steer clear of him. He certainly wouldn't take kindly to this tough guy attitude you have going." She added as an afterthought. "Last time Magnus pulled that act he hurt himself further. Roman is the king of I-told-you-so."
"I'll have y'all know, Roman confined me to bed rest for nine days straight." Magnus called back over his shoulder. "All I did was get up to grab food myself instead of having Karii bring me my meals. It was ten meters away from my resting position!"
"And you tore a muscle trying to get to the kill." Jahara reminded him, bounding forwards to walk besides her grey companion as the two continued to bicker back and forth with no real heat to their argument. "Roman still wont let you live that down."
"Roman's a grumpy old man - he won't let any of us live anything down." Magnus complained.

Sheik rolled her eyes. "Sorry about those two. Arguing is how they show affection."

"Well at least they're better than nothing, am i right or am i right?" He chuckled a slight joke. Brown and white male payed very heavy attention to everyone, even if it had to split to wonder back and forth with every single one of his friends Not only the new wolves. "I understand, i wont push anyone in using them against their will. But still y'never know when y'could have a good back up just in case. And i know if sounds like lot of trouble only for some herbs, but trust me, it tends to be easier than it sounds or looks." Smirk drawing over the corner of his lips, he tried to keep it at minimum.

Cylex couldn't help but only smile as he listened, even with the info he's got on Roman for now. He smirked at it. As he saw them bicker he gave Sheik assuring tone and chuckled lightly "Y'think.." He glance over his shoulder to show he his own friends bicker for something before returning to look and shrugging in 'I can relate' kind of way. "No matter how good or bad or both this Roman is. I don't do stay put, and i ain't scared of him, considering everything i've seen, there are certain things that surprise me, and besides if someone tries to sit on me. Well.. I'll be as gentle as i can and reverse the affect. This ain't m'pack and m'home to act like heavy warrior.. To put it."

Cylex soon had enough of his friends bickering, male growled before shooting a rough bark over his shoulder "Enough!!" his deep voice orderd and his group stared him down with few wide-eyes of unexpect. Seeing his glasses glint felt like a warning yet it was more of an angling, Storm gulpped on it before Cy returned to to walk. As they stood there for second Hex leaned to him slightly not removing his gaze from the mucle wolf "Did.. Did you just gulp?" he asked in a slight silent voice. "N-no..." Storm sounded like he was about to huff out exhausedly.
"Your bickering has brought it up to his nerves for long enough. I suggest you.. Lay it off for a while, or at least wait until you are alone or free of him." Tigerstripe noted to the others.
"Agreed, yet what's with him, he's become such a piss off really."
"He's just doing his. No need to jump to conclusions if you got a suspicion." The males shared looks with each other after Redcoat spoke. Storm smirked glancing back at her "Oooh~ i believe i know what's wrong with him, he's got someone in his sight." The boys teased as the group conversated. "You're not afraid to say anything are you?" DarkBlaze looked at him and the male only shook his head. "Well we'll see what happens after you sass, or let your mouth on him. I believe we all know the experience?" He looked around with couple agreeing nods. "Oh what- Cylex's though guy thing as his partner pointed out, is to get in the way? Oh Puh-Lease!! He couldn't even lay a paw on me before he's interrupted or remembers what's going on." He noticed the Brown and white male glare at him, his eyes returned to bit wided look once he saw him mouth something. "You guys think he heard me.. Or us?" Blaze laughed at it "Oh no doubt, he's kicking 'butt'cs tonight while everyone's off to sleep."

Cylex rolled his eyes under his glasses before returning to Sheik, Magnus and Jahara. He felt like they're the only ones who actually act like adults instead like bickering pups.. Well most of the time the least. "NightPyre and i will take tonight's patrol and guard for any cases, rest assured." Night quickly cantered upto him for moment with a pup in his teeth aswell. "Cy no, Enough of this. You feel responsible and i respect that but you have to know to drop it from time to time. Let me take the job, you kept saying i'm always the most fit."
Hestating the male then surendered to his offer "Fine, what you suggest me to do, just please don't tell to to be still."
Night gave him just a light nudge to not get his wounds "Spend some time with someone, otherwise we have Romeo over there who wont hesitate to tease. Even if it costs him couple scars." Cylex grunted in response, before speaking up "Oh it might of he doesn't keep his muzzle shut for the time being, how did we end up with him anyway?" The males snickered at that remark "Sound familiar Cy, remember the time with the guards" Cylex barked out a laugh at the emmory. "Yep. Ok maybe his muzzle comes useful sometimes but god does he ever get tired?" male teased.

"Looks like payback to me."Blaze remarked. "Whatever, i still made better special agent than he ever did." Mucle male said over his shoulder repeating what he said that day "Like i said that day it dephends on how you define Special."
"Oh hush, you injured." 'Lex gave him soft smile "Thanks, I know." The same expression was returned to him, even with couplde teases they ended up their little banter and close bicker quickly yet a glance has been set on female hybrid and her grey pelted friend.
Cy made sure to keep up to Sheik. "I'm susprised you're still alive honestly. You're tough i respect that, i believe.. Err.." glancnig over again on everyone else 'Lex shook his head lightly with a chuckle "We'll be fine.." To make sure he knows all the needs "So about your pac-k any young ones, anything we need to know or keep note of?" he gave her corious look.

"Aw, well, Rome ain't too bad. He's just pissed at the gods for making him an immortal." Magnus broke away from his argument when he heard Cylex's announcement. "That and some outlanders recently killed someone quite close to him and Bells. He's currently in an extremely overprotective state - so whatever you do, don't mess with that pup of his."
Jahara swiped a paw half heartedly at his head. "Magnus! You can't just go around telling others about Roman's condition! And we aren't sure about that 'immortal' part - no one really knows what happened to him that night when the stars fell." She scolded gently.
Magnus looked suitably chagrined. "I'll apologize to him on our return." He promised. "And I'll keep my mouth shut until then."

Sheik huffed out an affectionate sigh at the transaction before returning her attention to Cylex. "Maggi is right, though, be careful around Roman. He's far more dangerous than he lets on, and even though he is willing to tolerate a lot, his nerves have been a bit frayed recently by grief." She tilted her head, considering. "As far as pups go, we just have Karii and Bella. Tyr's mate has a few on the way, but they aren't due for another week or so. Íþró, Magnus's son, and Glanni, Tyr's from a former relationship, went missing. Some beast separated us from them in an attack and, while Roman and Magnus managed to chase the thing off, we couldn't find the two anywhere. Maggi, Jahara, and I have searched for around a month now but there's been no sighting." She cast him a worried look. "Íþró is a short, golden and brown pup with white shadows under his amber eyes. He takes after his father in stance and movement. Glanni is dark grey, tall and lanky for his age. If you've seen them at all, please, let us know."

Night felt troubled instantly. Sharing a look with Cylex he knew they'd have to talk things out instantly when everyone settles. He could see the unsettleness and worry in Cylex, as the brown and white male in the black one. "We will, thank you, we'd be glad to help you seek out your missing friends." He did his best not to show anything. "I understand. One stay away with a reason is reaosn enough to keep at our own spot. We do not wish to invade anyones privacy or y'know- territory. Thank you for the information Sheik.. I honor your kindeness along your friends."
The male heard Storm remark and his voice was close to startling him "Stay away from his pups, got it. No talking, no looking, yes general." Night looked at him with a shrugging like hunch 'What's the matter with you?'
"Ease up Cy, everyone will be alright."
"It's.. halfly not what i'm worried about Night.. I do not wish to scare anyone but based on the description we've recieved, the beast.. I'm afraid of being too late, but i'm relieved to know they made out lucky and strong." Cylex played it off to his friend as gently as possible without creating any situations yet. Yet the other male didn't like it, he seemed to hate it at this point. "What are you hiding?" He asked his gaze focoused on his friend as he responed with the words 'Nothing' but 'Pyre knew it was a lie. "Cy don't hold me for a fool, you obviously know something." he raised his voice just a tad.
"All i know is; we need to be aware of one called Roman, heal the injured. Care the young, and get back our home. I don't know anything else you could be refrencing to."
"You lied... It's been a month and a half and you lied?" 'Lex shook his head feeling uncomfortable. "Can we discuss this later, maybe a in private? You're gonna cause a rakot and unwanted situations. Quite something we're trying to avoid here." With that Night stood down "Alright. I'm sorry.- I shouln't'vde done that, true. But you started it, if you could jsut tell us what you know everything could be easier to start off with." He had noticed how they had distanced themselves form their new friends before they we're to bark at each other earlier. Giving Cy a little support up before a slight nudge not to get him in the sensistive. "What is it with you Cy, you tend to act like we don't know you and you don't know us. Storm is already thinking you'd have torwards the female. Want to talk about it?" Night questioned his unsettleness.
"Uhh-err.. L-later, make sure everyone's alright, i'd hate to find out we've lost our own." Night passed the pup to Cylex and returned to the team making sure everyone's there and alright. Cylex silently chuckled at Stormer's thoguht, he had a suspicion it'd come sooner or later. He was glad to know he'll have more time to think and process things once their work is done.

Noticing something he tried his best to keep his nervousness in him as he chuckled "Oh look at that.- Would we be close?" He asked lightly glancing over at the three from his right. as his pack joined him by his side, everyone were standing close to each other. NightPyre joined by the brown and white male's side. Brian and Degato didn't hesitate aswell. It was matter of time before his glance at the 3 new friends yet to earn more trust from were cut off when Night teased in his gentle voice, it was.. Soothing. "Just remember, i believe the pups will be all over you when you return, if they are still to be awake that is."
"I donno Night, i mean yeah i completely agree, sorry got distracted." He kept looking what was infront of them as he and his team stood there awaiting for Cylex to make a move "Perhaps we should.. Set out base camp outside borders? Y'know, for cases? I wouldn't wanna distrub anyone."
"You'll be fine, come on." Brian assured as everyone followed him. The mucle male only sighed at it "When have i ever seen you fail Tech-specs?" he felt playful, like he'd be a pup. "Errr... I donno how about you tell me?" he chuckled back at his friend. Night assured his friend "A small distance will be enough"

Making sure these was a decent distance between the camps to make sure avoiding any disturbances. Cylex helped his friends set up the most part. "Cute place," he chuckled "Wouldn't you say?" Brian agreed in a warm tone he didn't seem troubled at all today, which did interest 'Lex to know how and why. But that can wait. Degato made sure to keep with setting up the huts and hidding their weapons to where they wouldn't be found by anone else besides them. Couldn't be too safe, not to mantion Cy's small plead for it. Male rolled his yellowishly-Orange eyes as he continued his work "Yeah not bad. I as long as nothing goes off the cliff we'll be better than fine."
"You speak like you'd have trouble Degato. Anything wrong?" The look of the male was enough to not trail. He remembered the messager being with them and chuckled at the brid as it stood proud pose on the hut. "Alright i better go grab those herbs before we end up looping a cycle." he got up and passed Night knowing the looks that were on the black male and given to the brown one. Noding in respect they passed each other. "Keep guard, i trust you no toruble?"
"No toruble." both males responded as 'Lex went to see Jahara to take her along on his little journey to the healer harvest. After all he did agree to it, with the promise tone earlier.

They were but a hundred meters from their camp when the bushes before them exploded. A golden blur lunged forwards with a cry of "Mag-nus!!" and tackled the grey canine, bringing him to the ground with a startled yelp.
Karii was all over her guardian. "What took you so long? Did you find the pups? Was there one of those beasts out there? Why is your face cut? Did you get in a fight - or did you trip again? Roman's not going to be happy if it was a trip. I can fix it for you! Roman promised he'd teach me and Bella how to dress wounds. I got my first lesson today!" She drew in air for a breath and spotted the group of others behind her new family.
"Strangers!!"
She climbed off of Magnus and bounded forwards a few steps, stopping infront of Cylex. Her whole body wiggled from how fast her tail was wagging. She gazed up at him in awe. "You're huge! You're almost as tall as Jahara! You're not a dog like me, are you? How'd you get so big? Did you get in a fight? Did Magnus attack you? Or was it a beast?" She gave him a once over. "Those look like wounds from a beast. Did you beat it? I hope you tore it into little bits." Her voice delved into a snarl and her eyes darkened for a moment before she returned to her cheery barage. "Are those your glasses? They're cool. Tyr has a pair like those. His are a different color though. How many are in your pack? Is anybody injured like you? I can help clean their wounds! Roman says I'm good at it because my paws are small and gentle." She stated promptly.
"Karii-" Magnus tried to break in.
"How did you meet my pack? Did you go to rescue the pups too? Were they in trouble? I bet you saved them all. Are they here with you now? How'd they get lost? Was it a beast? I don't like the beasts."
"Karii, please -"
"Do you know what they are? I don't know what they are. I lost my old pack to them. Then Magnus found me! He's my favorite. Are you the favorite of one of the pups you found? I bet you are. You're cool, mister!"
"Karri! Manners!" Magnus managed to make himself audible with some effort.
The pup froze, titling her head, then sat down and gazed up at Cylex. "Sorry." She apologized. "My name's Karii, and this is my pack." She nodded to the three behind herself and raised one paw up into the air - if Cylex so wished he could tap her paw with his own as a form of greeting.

Cylex took a stood still as he watched and listened to the seemingly hyper-active pup "Swear to every god there exsists i love this pup" He gently rubbes his nose against hers "But to answer your questions as rapidly as they came" He drew it small breath.. "No i'm a hybrid but that doesn't mean you wont grow big and strong like your family. Born genetics, healthy food, pratice, pratice, work out, care but mostly genetics. Yes we got in a fight and it cost me a wound but it was worth it for the young that are asleep currently. No, Magnus was close to colliding but he halted- yet i wish he would've prevented his own wounds isntead of sparing mine. Yes it was a beast. Yes i know those wounds look quite like a pick, yes we beat it, no we didn't tear it, we had to get the young out of there before any other dangers could be caused. But i'm still looking to revenge everything and everyone." His voice speaking rapidly to follow the pup and he chucked a bit after taking small breath in and returnning to her "Yes those are my glasses, some complain about me rarely taking them off, Thank you for the compliment i might allow you to wear them once. We are huge pack but we're scattered currently, It depehends i do not know yet. And i got no doubt in your medical skills sweetheart." He smiled at her lowering himself to her.

"Poor Cylex, i barely pitty him from the pup, but hey he'll be fine" 'Blaze stated as he watched them interact. "Hey if he can survive worse than the beast he can survive a pup."
Cylex did all he could to keep up with her and somehow sucseeded for most part "I bumped into your family while my pack and i made our way. Yes we rescuded them and thankfully in time. Yes they were in trouble that monster seemed to be ready to chow down, but we saved the one stuck and it all worked out good. Yes they're napping and we carried them all the way but it's more than worth it. How we don't know we found them, yes Abomination was involved." He chuckled "Yes i know what they are i've encountered them more than once and they were the cause of my pack. I'm sorry for you loss, but i'm glad for your earn. Favorite? I donno. Thank you, you're fast, cute and i like you." he smiled at her.
He chuckled "No harm done youngling. I don't see a need in apologise in interest." he nuzzled her forhead with his nose, before lowering one paw for hers to smack a greeting on. Making sure his muzzle would stay behind her in case of needing to catch her. Taking the greeting.

His pack snickered at him "Man you really have ways with pups and first appearance huh?"
"Look who's talking, you've been cuddling the young day in and out since i've known you." He respodned to 'Blaze with a smirk. "Caring, but yes i did cuddle." He rolled his eyes under the glasses. "Just make sure our camp's set and our friends guarded will you, sure there'a bit of distance in the field but it's for sake and reason don't you think. And we're not really that far from them."
"Says the stubborn 'Lex." Hex teased.
"Oh don't worry i'll get to you aswelll." He layed down as he watched Karii, "I can keep the pup busy while i wait for my travel mate. And Magnus, feel free to take the rest if you need. I'll be the one exhausted in the night once everything's done" He chuckled at the male. Before returning to look at Karii "And young one, i'm a bit leaned and hunched, which makes me seem short, but trust me i'm not." he lightly wrapped his paws around her arena near him and flopped her over on her back before comencing his tickle-attack. "See how this litle fighter holds." he couldn't help his deep voice letting out a giggle. "I'm Cylex by the way."
