Orca walked out into nuvema town, his new Munna following him at a respectable speed. He was very conflicted when choosing his starter- Munna was cute and powerful, yet Purrloin was just like him. Cubchoo was not his style- He decided to choose Munna for variety. He didn't regret his choice.

He named his Munna Paisley, and he smiled as she followed him, floating eagerly as they started their journey together. The first route wasn't to far ahead, and he couldn't wait to show off his Munna.

She walked out the labortory proudly and looked down to the the lillipup she picked by her feet. she smiled and looked around for someone to talk to. she sat down on a fairly large stone and grinned

Randy and his newest friend and companion Katara excitedly walked out of the lab ready for the awaiting adventure ahead. Randy saw another Vaiki that left the lab a bit before him sitting on a rock. "Hey!" Randy said when jogging up to up to her as Katara followed.

Percival - Cheshire - Eevee - lvl 5

Percy had woken bright and early that special morning, excitement clear on his features. This was the day he was to chose his first pokemon! To set out on his journey across Unova! To finally get out of the tight grip of Nuvema Town and leave all his troubles behind him. Grinning to himself, Percy slipped out of bed and ran downstairs to greet the three trainers who had taken him in. After eating a nice breakfast, the small male exited the house happily, and started walking down the old path towards the professor's laboratory. He paused to glance at the mansion-like house along the way. Trying to ignore thoughts of a certain dark-colored rebel, Percy made his way through the small town towards Professor Juniper's laboratory.
It didn't take long, and eventually the cream vaiki found himself standing outside the doorway of the large building. Excited, he pushed open the door, and trotted over to where the light brown, lab-coat adorned vaiki stood. Upon approach, he noted just how exhausted the young professor looked. With several poke balls held precariously in her arms, she turned to give Percy a hesitant smile. "Why, Percival! Welcome, welcome... I've been so busy today! You can't imagine just how many trainers set out on their journeys today! Sorry..I-I'm a bit unorganized at the moment ah....um..." Suddenly a small Eevee appeared from behind the professor, a mischievous smirk on its face as it pushed on the pile of poke balls balanced dangerously in the professor's arms. In a flash, there were about fifteen pokemon climbing around the poor professor's body, released from the balls that held them.

Grimacing at the menace, the professor plucked up the small creature, and dropped him square in Percival's arms. "You wouldn't mind taking this little beauty off my hands for me, would ya, Percival?" The woman had a strange tone in her voice, and Percy didn't really think he had a choice in the matter. Nodding with slight fear, Percy agreed. Jupiter seemed pleased with herself, smiling widely as she quickly returned each pokemon to their balls."That's great! This little guy is Eevee, the evolution pokemon! [idk made that up] This specimen is a male, if you'd like to give him a nickname?" She asked, glaring just slightly at the pokemon.
"O-Oh? Uh yeah-yes.." Looking down at the wide grin stretched across the pokemon's face, Percy knew exactly the name. "Cheshire...Cheshire is his name." Jupiter nodded, and went onto the next order of business, starting to explain pokedexes and such.
A bit later, after Percy had been filled in on all he needed to know, he found himself being shoo-ed out of the lab.

Percy walked outside, his new partner held in his front arms, oddly quiet. Frowning, the vanilla vaiki sat down on a park bench, lifting the eevee high into the air, to inspect him. Obviously not amused, the newly dubbed 'Cheshire' stuck out his tongue and wiggled out of his new trainers grasp. Leaping down on the ground, the male eevee let out a tiny grunt and sprinted away. Letting out a shout of surprise, Percy jumped to his feet and chased after the little trickster. Soon, however, he lost sight of his new pokemon. Panting, the fragile vaiki continued to jog after the pokemon.

Orca hadn't gotten far out of Nuvema town when he saw even more Vaikis exit junipers lab. His Munna squealed and joyously and floated around his head, gesturing for him to return to town and talk to somone. Even in the short time he had owned her, Paisley already knew him better than himself. "Alright... I quess we can go back." He said hesitantly, grabbing Paisley gently and putting her on his head. She made a high pitched coo of happiness as he re-entered Nuvema town, getting a closer look at all the new trainers.

Right away he noticed the Lillipup and Eevee, and not to far off were their trainers. He didn't say much, but he studied them quietly as he played with Paisley.
