Fletcher nodded as he studied the female that owned the staff. "I will keep watch behind my back from now on" he said and tilted his head to hear pawsteps. He was still in shock from the deadly news but he hid it well. He tightened his grip on his basic bow and looked at the new tall male cat. "And who might you be?" he asked, still unknowing of the female's name too.

Samira put her hands on her hips, staff now resting carefully on her back. "You better," she said softly no humor in her voice. Turning to look at the newcomer she cocked her head. "What would you boys say to teaming up?" with a sigh she sits down on the grass, her hand extending into the fake blades of green. "With the stakes raised, a party will not only be safer but easier as well."

The feline looked sharply at the female, and surveyed the other male with her. He wasn't one for group ties, but they could have something he could learn. The female didn't seem to poor with her weapon, though he couldn't think of much for the male. At the very least, if they moved quickly they could clear the area, rake in some XP and he could split at the next town.
"Well, I guess I could be of some assistance, and if you'd like someone to watch your back I suppose that at least until we hit the next town I could take care of that for you." He grinned at the female, a cocky, amused kind of smile. At least she was cute, he could deal with the view, he thought.
After scanning the area, he sat down as well stretching out in the sunlight. "Got a specific route in mind?" He asked.

Samira rolled her eyes, placing a hand on her hip. "Fantastic." she replied pulling up her menu to send a group request. Watching the newcomer plop himself down she shrugged doing the same. After a minute or two of thinking she pulled up at map of their area. "I was thinking about this route." she said drawing a large round about way to the next town. "i know it isn't the most direct route but from what I have heard these are the best spots to gain experience and the possibilities of weapons... speaking of such what are the rules for item and weapon drops?" As a beta tester she found different groups had different ideas of drops. Some shared them equally, while others would allow the player who got the drop to keep it.

"Well, as long as we're grabbing the XP on the way over, I don't have a problem with it. Once the others make it out of town, they'll clear this area out in no time. Honestly? I'm not waiting around for that to happen." He pulled up his menu and winced involuntarily as the group invite flashed on his screen. It's only until the next town he reminded himself as he pushed the accept button on the request.

"I guess I'd toe the line on this one, as it really depends on the drop." He scratched his head, auburn hair glinting in the sun. "If it's an item more suited towards your strengths by all means keep it. But if it would better suit a party member and they've got something that would work better for you, I guess I couldn't oppose that. If it's good for nothing but cash, I'd stick with the player who picked it up. Play to the strengths of your party and everything else is fair game." The statement made him wince, he wasn't one for giving away his drops, but if they'd go for a fair trade, that wouldn't put a damper on his demeanor.

Samira nodded. "I agree. So whoever gets an item keeps it unless it is better suited for another." she said with a sigh rolling onto her feet from the grass. Pulling up her map she marked heir route, hoping that everything will work out. "Alright! no time like the present to get started! You guys ready for some action!?"

Fletcher sat on the ground and listened to the female and the new and taller male. "I'm up for that" he commented, agreeing with what they said. "Let's get going before the rest clear this place" he said and stood up.
