Mornings are, in Pol's opinion, the best time of day. They always set the perfect mood for meditating in his zen garden. This particular morning is simply perfect, Pol thinks to himself. He stretches out, laying spread-eagle on the smooth stones and moss in his garden. Contemplating the end of the sunrise, Pol runs his hands around him. He sits up to inspect a patch that somewhat feels different. One lone section of moss is failing to spread.
"Well then, little one," Pol murmurs, "let's find you a friend." Throwing on jeans and a t-shirt, Pol sets off to the hobby store. He makes a mental list as he goes to lock the front door. A new patch of moss, plant food, and extra soil. I think that's it. Just then, a truck pulls up next door. The truck, more accurately a moving van, is one of many this month. However, it's the first to arrive next door to Pol. I wonder if the new neighbors like moss...
