Sweeney kept pushing through the dense forest to the rebel hideout. Where she seemed to run off too. When he found her sitting down and looking prideful. Disgust appeared upon his face momentarily. Licking his jaws and narrowing his eyes at the female. Listening to her words. If only life was that easy, huh? He thought to himself "well, as obvious as it is I'm in the rebel group, it doesn't mean you can just join willy nilly. You've got to earn your rank and spot in the rebellion. Not everyone can get in. Not everyone is trusted.." He spoke in a mellow tone voice. In his human form, his facial scars gone. His obsidian hair with the fading white streak resided. Pushing his hair back with his hand. "You must be accepted by the leader. And the other shifters if you want to be apart of us. And pass a series of tests..." Speaking very sternly. "It's not as easy as it could seem but I'm sure they could make some room for you." He spoke with a cheeky grin.

Alanza listened as intently as she felt appropriate, trying to feel relaxed but somewhat bored about the topic of joining the rebel group. Though she was hanging on his every word. She just didn’t want to come across as being too eager to join, causing suspicion. At the mention of tests, her heart started to beat faster. Of course they’d want to know where her loyalties lie. The problem for her was she herself still wasn’t even sure where her loyalty lay. Half was with the King and half was with the Rebels. Though the only reason she was connected to the King was because of her father plus the information he held over her that changed the game dramatically.

Alanza nodded her read spiked head. “Fair enough. If the rumors are true, then I’ll consider myself lucky if I even have a minute in the presence of the Rebel Leader. He or she must be on even higher lock down than usual because of the reward placed on their head. I know I would. We can only hope the King doesn’t start to make death threats and follows through with them.”
Her yellows orbs watched Sweeney closely, trying to pick up anything from his reaction. From her earlier encounter, she already knew that Sweeney had huge anger issues, not to mention his whole posture and his facial expressions shouted power.

Curiosity got the best of her so she asked the question she had been wondering. “So what rank do you hold in the Rebels? Don’t tell me you wander forests on a regular basis and any human you meet during your journey you send to a mountain, never to return. That seems like a perfectly good waste of time. Why not go after those with more power over the kingdom? Anyway, it’s probably not my place to question.”

Alanza cursed herself mentally because the more she blabbed and poked fun at the shifter before her, the more she started to sound suspicious, even to her own ears. The last thing she needed was Sweeney to use his power to pull information from her head. If he found out anything about her alliance with the King, she was dead meat. And one possible give away was her dragon tattoos, claiming her to be owned by someone of higher power.

(OOC: So I know I have been inactive in this topic for awhile. I'm willing to keep going if you are still interested. If not, then I understand. I was having a horrible time in school at the time I paused the RP. Since it is summer things have been starting to get better I guess. I hope your summer is doing great too!)
