Andrew released a little bit of an irritated sigh, his hazel eyes falling on Elijah as he shook his head. "I'm not going to tolerate bullying, kid. It's not fair, I don't care who it is. If I ever seen any one of those punks touch you the wrong way again, my fist is being smashed into their jaw. They'll be lucky if they can eat anything more then jello for a couple of weeks after that." he rubbed the back of his neck, sighing softly as he let himself relax anymore. "Besides, Elijah, if you don't put them in their place they'll continue to do it. They're like dogs who haven't been properly disciplined." he grinned a bit and carefully reached over, ruffling Elijah's hair like an older brother might as they continued to walk up the stairs. "Anyways, kid, I assure you we weren't learning anything your type probably didn't know. Besides, teach will mark you there anyways because you're a potential student. As for me, I'm a lost cause and he could give a rats butt about me." he chuckled, giving a cheerful smile as his eyes scanned the building.

Finally, Andy began to point out each of the classrooms, labeling what was being studied and who the teacher was. He even made his disgusted sounds at the ones he disliked, the bad teachers, and then he gave a big smile when he pointed to a classroom teacher he enjoyed. When they had finished with the first floor, Andy continued the same exercise while going down a floor until they were finally on the ground floor where Andy carefully led Elijah towards the huge gym. When they walked up to the doors, Andy peaked inside and when he noticed no one in it, he gently pushed the door open and led Elijah into the empty gym that's only illumiation was from the windows outside. "This is what the schools known for, our gym. It's HUUUUGE! We have a full basketball court, a separate volleyball court, another practice court, and then a huge football field sized pool. The gym basically takes up the entire ground floor aside from the cafeteria." he grinned happily, leading him to the volleyball gym after going through the basketball one.

istening intently as they went Elijah was silent. He nodded every once in a while as Andy pointed to various classrooms and places. Honestly he was still thinking about what he had said before. Andy was the kind of guy that Elijah tried to avoid, but he didn't think he was 'a lost cause.' He didn't believe that for a second, but he also didn't believe that he was actually capable of proving that he was strong enough to not be messed with by a bully. Elijah grew up with gum in his hair, people tripping him, his locker being trashed, even the occasional fight. Well, its not really a fight when its five against one, but the point remains. Elijah followed Andy like a lost puppy, or kitten, to correct his own thought process.

The massive school was set up in a rather reasonable way, it made sense, and honestly after the first floor Elijah would have been able to figure out the rest himself given the room numbers and design. But he didn't want to tell Andy he knew how the rest of the school was. He couldn't do it. It was something about how Andy's face lit up when he got excited over a teacher or the way he would scowl and go on little rants about the mean teachers that made Elijah laugh and smile.

On the ground floor Elijah was almost reluctant to admit that the tour was over. They sneaked into the gym and Elijah felt nervous again. They were officially all alone and Elijah was painfully aware of that. He distracted himself from the fact by looking around the huge gym set ups, following Andy with a slight distance between them. It was massive, Andy was right. But the second the words came out of his mouth Elijah tensed and his amber gaze flashed over to Andy, following him closer than before. "There's a pool?" He asked, "Where is that?" He wondered if that was where Andy was leading him next, but that curiosity was blurred out by the simple thought of such a massive pool. The largest body of water Elijah had been near in the past five years was probably his bath tub, and he even hated that, baths and showers were hell.

Andy glanced in Elijah's direction as he muttered something about the pool. Perhaps asking where it was? He studied his face for a moment, his eyes narrowing in a way that made it seem like he was reading, or paying extra close attention. Something was suddenly off about Elijah, and he wondered curiously what that could be before turning back around and opening up a huge double door. The smell of chlorine and the heat of humidity quickly leaked out of the door, and Andy pointed in casually. "It's right here." The room the pool was in was dark, except for the tiny amount of sunlight that shined down into the water from the windows at the top of the wall. The pool shown a dark aqua in the dimly lit room, but it was still a lighter color than the room all together. As Andy held the door open, he leaned back against the door and sighed a little, glancing at Elijah. "What's wrong, kid? It looks like someone just killed your puppy."

lijah felt his chest constrict, he shook his head, and found himself frozen at the door, staring at the pool a long moment. "I-" He said, its just a pool calm down. Calm down. Elijah took a deep breath, filling him with the smell of chlorine. He stared at the water and took a step back. "Can we go?" He asked, his voice was small. "P-Please?" He sounded desperate. He wondered how long it took someone to drown, how long it would take him to sink to the bottom. He had never learned to swim, he had been to afraid to get anywhere near the water even when he was young, not to mention he was part cat and water wasn't a good mix. How long would it take for someone to find him if he drowned? His mind was to busy fretting over these things to even consider Andy. Elijah pulled the hat off his head and ran a hand through his hair nervously, trying to calm down as he took another step back, his ears twitching. Some people feared monsters under there bed, had arachnophobia or paralyzing fears of heights, why couldn't Elijah have that?

(Posting on mobile cause I don't want to get the laptop and wake up the brat of a kitten I have ugh xd so my post will likely be ugly and suck xD )

Andy blinked, he saw the expression on Elijah'd face was pure terror, and he glanced at the pool. Was he.. Afraid of the water? Quickly shutting the door, he nodded, feeling guilty for scaring the guy, for when he turned around his eyes landed on his kitten ears. He blinked, hiding his reaction. Oh my, he was so cute! But since the situation was already worse, Andy shut his mouth and smiled at him, gently grabbing his shoulder and leading him to the big gym for basketball. "Hey, I'm sorry. Uh.. Hey, watch this!" He left Elijah's side when they'd left the pool and he rushed over towards a tray that held basketballs. He grabbed one, dribbling it, and then made a mad dash toward the net while dribbling. Finally, he grabbed the ball and jumped up making a slam dunk. He grinned and walked back to Elijah, gently tossing him the ball, his face was lit up with enthusiasm and pure happy. He loved basketball. "Hey, do you know how to play?"

aughing slightly Elijah caught the ball, simotaniously tossing his hat over on the floor. Obviously Andy wasn't going to be a jerk about his ears or anything. Trying to brush off the fear still pricking at his skin, making him feel childish, Elijah dribbled the ball a little, then smirked up at Andy. "I am many things, but stupid is not one of them. Of course I know how to play." He chuckled lightly. "I just can't play very well." He said, dribbling around Andy with a smirk. Andy's smile was contagious really.

Elijah wasn't big on sports, but he didn't hate them or anything either.

Andy smirked, he watched Elijah run past him, dribbling the ball. He rushed behind him, quick, until he came around and countered him, batting the ball from Elijah's hands, grabbing it, and with a quick turn he threw the ball through the basket. He grinned as the ball slid through and dribbled alone in the gym floor. "I see, you're not half bad." He winked and gave a chuckle, reaching a hand up for a high five.

olling his eyes Elijah returned to gesture, feeling childish. "Sure, I'm fantastic at it. Watch me trip on the ball next." He joked, smirking.

Andy chuckled, he walked back over to Elijah, looking down at him and smiling. He gently pat his head. "Basketballs the only thing I care about in this dumb school. So I'm happy there is this huge gym." He smiled and crossed his arms, turning around.

(Te next class could be gym and they could single Elijah out and push him in. Andt won't know about his bad shoulder until he plays in a basketball game and ends up throwing the ball and ruining it, and he'll probably fall over in pain xD. Elijah can rush onto the court and help him out before any meds arice xD.

Or Elijah can tell him his shoulder is in bad shape and any sort of wrong move and it would break or something but andu could ignore him and do it anyway)

lijah laughed softly, looking around. They had been wandering around for ages, he was sure that the next class was soon. He looked around for a clock but couldn't find one, but with an annoyed sigh he looked at Andy. "What's your next class?" He asked, walking over to grab his hat, putting it back on. He wondered if he had any other classes with Andy. He hoped he did, given Andy obviously had some social power in the school, and if Elijah was with him he had a less likely chance to get tormented for being the new kid. Just one day would be nice, to not have to fret over jerks in class. But Elijah also really liked spending time with Andy, not that he would admit it.
