"No, it's not I just....wait, you parked it?" she said, beginning to feel even more confused. Yet she wanted to get to the bottom of this. "Because there aren't police boxes around like this one-" she gestured to the TARDIS "anymore." she concluded

"Yes, I suppose there aren't," the Doctor muttered to himself, turning and looking the blue box up and down. He seemed to be talking to himself as he went on to say, "But I do like it this way, it's a wonderful color." He then turned back to the human, a smile on his face. "The fact that they're not around anymore isn't really a problem, is it?"

[Oswald.]

She shook her head. "No, not really, no one cares anymore." she answered, looking at it."if you don't mind me asking, who exactly are you?" she asked curiously.

(sorry for the short post,I'm in a bit of a hurry.i'm going to my cottage this evening and won't be back till tomorrow late afternoon/ evening)

"I'm the Doctor," he replied cheerfully, a goofy smile on his face. "Just the Doctor. And you?"

(I don't mind short posts, but mine are shorter as well when yours are, since I don't have too much to go off of.)

( I'm sorry, I was in a rush.)

"Arianna Leamington." she answered back. "Pleased to meet you." She wondered why he was just 'The Doctor' and what was he a doctor of? This whole situation seemed strange to her.

"Right then, Arianna Leamington," the Doctor said, turning slightly to look back at his TARDIS. He had never meant to come here, and decided to get going before any more humans asked questions. The people here seemed nice enough, but once time travel got involved.... Well, one could never know what they might do. "I'd best be off," the Doctor told Arianna, giving her a little nod. He turned back to the TARDIS and started unlocking it, wondering a bit as he did so. Would she stay and watch the TARDIS depart? Would she even.... follow him inside? No, the Doctor told himself. He wouldn't let her. He was done, done with traveling with others. He was alone, and that was for the best.

Out of the corner of her eye, Arianna saw a statue. She frowned slightly, turning to face it. She had never seen this one before, yet she felt that it was looking right at her, judging her.

The Doctor didn't notice for a moment, busy with the doors, but something felt off. He stopped unlocking the doors, wondering why Arianna was so quiet, and glanced over at her. The Doctor froze, startled by the angel's sudden presence. Why would one come here? he wondered, taking a small step closer to better see it through the sleet. "Arianna," he said in a low voice, "Don't blink."
