Ali propped herself back on her arms, smiling slightly as she watched Silver dab at the water with a slender silver paw, replying, "Nothing much on my part. Mom's been busy with her job. I've just been walking around the city with Silver, or sitting here and watching the water. It's calming to watch it." She heard a splash and glanced over to see Silver sputtering in surprise, having fell in. Giggling she reached in and pulled out the eevee as she paddled at the water to keep her head up. Setting her down on the dock, Silver shook her fluffy self out, still dripping wet. Ali reached over and gently wrung out some of her fur, still giggling. "We'll have to take this off for now," she said, removing the bandana she'd put on her pokemon, setting it down beside her.

The minute there was a knock on the door, Growler was up and barking, growling, and glaring at it, as if he was scared it'd attack Anaka. Avery sighed, reassuring the growlithe as he moved past to open the door, blinking in surprise when he saw who it was. Giving a grin, he said, "Hey there. What are you doing here this early?" His tone was teasing, and then sharp as he said, "Anaka! Get Growler in his pokeball, or get him back before he attacks someone!" In response, she scowled at him, calling the growlithe back to her side.

Judy's eyes widened as Silver fell into the water, but once the eevee was fished out by her trainer, she felt a wave of relief. Tael, on the other hand, grew extremely excited. The sight of Silver taking a quick dip caused the azurill to fling herself back into the gentle water. Her trainer giggled. "There she goes again. It'll take a while to get her out this time." She sighed, but nodded nonetheless as Ali spoke. "Yeah, I hear you. For us, everything's a bit boring when Dad's out, so my brothers and I have been attempting to keep ourselves busy inside of the house--it's driving our mom insane to be quite honest," she giggled and dipped her feet into the water again, watching Tael with a smile on her face. Out of the corner of her eye the brunette noticed her friend removing the pokemon's bandanna. She absentmindedly nodded in agreement. "Mm. You wouldn't want to ruin such a nice bandanna like that." She said kindly.

Danny gave a grin of his own once the blonde opened the door. In anybody else's house, the redhead would have instantly strolled inside and plopped his bottom onto the nearest sofa or chair, but the situation was always different in Avery's home. He casually raised his hands in surrender at Growler's barking, and Pereth attempted to remain as still as possible on Danny's shoulder to prevent himself from inciting the growlithe any further. He chuckled once the puppy Pokemon returned to the side of Avery's younger sister and the boy took a few steps inside of the house, leaning against the wall nonchalantly. "Ask Pereth," he stated, casting the pokemon a sideways glance. The swablu chirped a few times in response and Danny rolled his green eyes. "He wanted to say 'bye to you guys; we're finally heading out today," the boy explained.

Ali smiled slightly, patting the bandana affectionately. "It was my dad's. He used to wear it a lot before he died, and we moved here. Mom gave it to me, and I thought it'd look better on Silver, so I put it on her." Then she said, her eyes thoughtful as Silver shook her fur out again before climbing onto her shoulder, curling up around her neck, "Hm...I think Silver and I will be leaving to travel around and learn some things soon." She glanced at her friend, tilting her head. "Are you going to leave the city soon?" Silver yawned, and Ali paused to stroke her ears, smiling at her.

Avery blinked in surprise at this before sighing. "Lucky you, I can't leave until my mom gets over the fact that Anaka is perfectly capable of looking after herself with Growler." His sigh became a grin, and the boy shoved a hand through his blonde hair, teasing, "Didn't forget or lose anything you'll need, did you? You have food for both of you, right?" Avery gave a grin, rocking back slightly on his heels.

Judy smiled softly and listened respectfully as Ali spoke about the origins of the bandanna that Silver wore. She knew that her friend didn't like talking about her father too much--in a way, she felt honored that Ali would even be willing to talk about the topic in the first place. She nodded nonetheless once the girl brought up traveling and her smile expanded into a grin. "Oh totally! I really want to see the world!" She exclaimed, but then her excitement failed as her eyes narrowed. "But unfortunately for me, Mom doesn't seem to be willing to let me travel around the world alone. I've tried to tell her that I'd be with Tael, but she claims that a pokemon isn't enough." She nearly snorted. Tael chimed in with a somewhat indignant tone and Judy giggled. "I know you are, buddy." She turned to Ali. "But yeah, I'd like to--traveling sounds amazing."

Danny quirked an eyebrow at Avery's response to his statement about leaving. He glanced at the younger girl across the room. "Man, that blows. You'd better convince her soon--I need a good rival after all!" He proclaimed. "And besides, you're almost twenty now, yeah? You can't stay here. And Anaka is totally grown up now! She can take care of herself!" He added, and then his green eyes fell upon Growler, who was still, well, growling. He chuckled. "Nothing can happen to her with that growlithe around, after all." However, he rolled his eyes at the blonde's other statement. "Yeesh, I'm beginning to think that you and Pereth don't have any faith in me at all," he scoffed, and Pereth chirped in agreement. The boy ignored the swablu and continued. "Double checked, Ave, I'm totally ready to go!" He announced, grinning broadly at this point.

Ali's eyes became thoughtful as she tilted her head for a moment, then said slowly, "Perhaps we could go together? It might convince your mom to allow you to. We could start preparing what we'd need in the next few days, then leave as soon as we want. If you want, of course, you don't have to come, but I think it'd be nice to travel around with a friend instead of by myself. What do you say?" Silver yawned from her place around Ali's shoulders, her tail wagging again like a normal dog's.

Avery chuckled as he teased, "I certainly don't have faith that you'll remember every single thing you need." Then he sasid seriously, "I'm trying. I think she'll allow me to go as soon as Anaka knows better than to run outside when she's not looking." He shot his sister a pointed look, and she gave him a look of fake innocence. Sighing, he shook his head. "You have fun on your trip. Don't lose anything?" He became teasing once again, his eyes glowing with amusement.

Judy couldn't help but raise her eyebrows once Ali suggested that they travel together. However, she remained quiet and let her friend explain her reasoning behind the suggestion. As Ali did so, traveling seemed to become more and more of a reality to the brunette. Her mom knew Ali and thought that she was a good kid--traveling with her was exactly what she needed to get out of Castelia City once and for all. She felt herself grin. "That sounds like a great idea!" She exclaimed happily, clapping her hands together. Tael chimed in in agreement, smiling as well. "Traveling with another person would be super fun and that much more exciting. I think it's the perfect opportunity for the two of us." Judy continued, agreeing wholeheartedly.

Danny rolled his eyes at Avery before shifting his gaze to the smaller girl across the room. Anaka was giving her older brother such an innocent look that he knew that she was up to no good. "Yo, Anaka, stop running out like that or you'll worry your mom sick," he said casually, leaning against the wall once again. "Your bro's basically an adult and he still lives with his mom? Kind of pathetic, don'tcha think?" He directed his statement at Anaka in somewhat of a light teasing manner yet again and turned to Avery. "You've really gotta get out of the house, man," he let out a sigh of his own and headed to the door of the home. "Don't bite my head off Growler. And I'll try not to lose anything too precious." Danny said dryly. "And I expect to see you out and about sooner or later."
