A Fairy Tale

Gray smirked evilly,as he made a made a little bit of snow and made a snowball. This is when he comes over and drops it on the part of Cloud's body that isn't covered from the bed. He hopes that would wake him so he didn't actually have to pick him up and drop him in the living room. That would just be an inconvenience. He was never good at waking up his son,and probably won't ever be. He sits back to see what he would do.

Ali did a little dance in her chair,"Hoorah! I won't. Besides,I don't think there's anyone that stupid in Fairy Tail."She joked with a small grin on her face. Kay reached up and took a waffle,and began to eat it between her paws.Though Ali looked over at him with small chuckle. "Of course not,though isn't Cana on a job? Last time I checked any how..or is she back?"She asked curiously,with a gleam in her eyes. She didn't know in Cana is back,or Erza.. She snickered,"Besides,I still don't see why you and Gray don't get along. Besides the fact he strips at random times."She joked,teasing her father.

Lucy just looked over and didn't know either. She was actually more of a writer now,and was pretty good at it. She sometimes traveled on a mission,but rarely did so. She smiled at Natsu. She connected Ali going out to do a mission as more time alone with Natsu. Since Ali isn't allowed to do missions without permission from Natsu which he allows every once and awhile. She was definitly looking forward since she knew Ali was more then capable of certain things. She smiled,and looked over her daughter. She did already finished most of her food,and knew Ali would be out of here as soon as possible.

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

Cloud let out a loud yelp and leaped up - hitting his head on the underside of the bed and whinning like a young child might before he crept away from it and brushed off snow - seeing it melt on his covers that were sprawled all along the ground. Standing there a moment and staring, he looked up ad pointed at the sheets, "You'll explain to mom that I didn't wet the bed."
His statement was serious until he snorted and shook his head, dark blueish black hair tinted with green swaying as he thought a moment. "Nah but for real..." After a moment, he grabbed a tank top and pulled it on before going towards the bed room door, passing his father at the warm scent of baking bread and meats.

Veina hummed softly, setting the crispy and fluffy stuffed breads onto a plate. They were big and warm - hot really - and puffy, round and thick. She set it in the middle of the table and went to place the plates and the rest of the food down, doing so ever so carefully and grabbing a pitcher full of sweet cold tea.

"Hey - you'll learn about it some day, just not today. And him stripping down isn't the only thing that irritates me." Natsu corrected before eating some more, listening to his daughter's words carefully and actually taking it to consideration. "That's my girl." He said with a wide grin on his face before pausing, she wasn't his little girl any more, he had to let go some. That's when he paused and thought a moment, looking her over.
"You know what...You're not my little girl anymore - you're growing up. I think I could let you take a mission that leaves this little old town area." He said, seeing as she needed to see more of what the world held and how much more she had to learn. "And no, Erza and Cana aren't back yet - they're still on a mission, they'll be back sometime to night or tomorrow."

He chuckled and shrugged. He looked at the bed,and decided it would dry. It was just water. Lazy,lazy Gray he thought quietly and he laughed. He walked down stairs thinking. He wondered if he shoulder make Cloud go do a mission. Maybe just to get out of the house. He smelled the greatest smell of the day,as he walked into the kitchen space. "Mmm,delicious food smell."He murmured softly as he walked up behind his wife and wrapping his arms around her middle,"You smell nice too though."He grinned nuzzling her neck. He could tell he possibly just scarred his son for life. He didn't care though.

Lucy smiled at Natsu. He was actually realizing it. Though she knew that this wasn't going to last once she gets her first injury. She almost snorted for a second at the thought of it. She just shook her head and took a sip of her drink,and nodded and winked at Ali. Who smiled at her mother.

She snorted quietly,"I don't know,it kind of annoys me at time." She decided to toy with Natsu,"Though if someone else stripped down I don't think I would mind!~"She teased,and thought about who she did like. She thought her forbidden apple was cute,but knew that's probably a phase. Hopefully. She didn't want to upset her father THAT much. She heard what he said and she squeaked happily. "Yes! Hoorah!"She got up and danced. Kay looked up and tilted her head. "Yes Kay! We get to go out of this town!"She picked her up and danced with her with a small laugh.She looked at him,"Well,I'll just go and look for a mission today. Then ask one of them to come with me tomorrow,unless I find someone else."She said with a tap to her chin as Kay looked a little dizzy.

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

"Y'know...I'm in the kitchen too.' Cloud called over as he ignored his parents, taking his seat at the table and huffing a bit. Even if it was just them alone in the house, he still got flustered in embarrassment - but he didn't know why he got all worked up about it. He pursed his lips and took one of the stuffed bread buns and took a bite while he waited for the bacon and eggs to be set down with waffles and french toast.
Veina only chuckled a little and looked over at him from her shoulder and shook her head a bit. "You flatter me too much." She said - not that she didn't enjoy his kindness, it just festered on her mind sometimes. She was the sort of person to second guess the words others said - even if she knew they meant it.

Natsu chuckled at his daughter's reaction and pulled Lucy a little closer from under his arm, basically holding her to his chest while she sat in her seat and he in his own. "Yea, if someone stripes in front of you - kick and run." He stated simply with a small smile, knowing she was just teasing and mocking from the little glint in her eyes. He leaned back in his seat - having finished his breakfast. "Alright, just don't get hurt." He said with a concerned voice - he didn't want her to come home with a missing arm or leg.
Even a missing finger was too much for him. Let alone a cut.

He chuckled with his soft tone."Of course I know you're in the kitchen."He teased his son and stuck his tongue out playfully. Which he then nuzzled his wife's neck. "and too much is not enough."He mused with a light smile as he detached himself and sat down smelling the food. Which he took some for himself and twirled a fork in his hand. "Mm. Food!~"He sighed happily,he looked up at Veina. "This is amazing."He hummed out softly with a little chuckle.

Lucy smiled and leaned into him."Come on Natsu,she'll be fine."She mused with a chuckle. She nuzzled the side of his face with a small chuckle.

Ali laughed,and shook her head slightly. Then with a teasing glint in her eye decided not to go as far as to say something personal. "Alright father.."She looks over her plate and decided it would be best to run since she has finished eating."Though I would remember that advice in the bedrooom!~"She teased and she giggled. She rubbed the back of her neck with a blush at the next comment though. "Of course,I promise I won't loose my limbs."She joked with a teasing smile. She was itching to get out of here. "Mind if I can have the money so I can do all my running while I go to check the missions?"She asked curiously with a small 'please' look to her. She wasn't dressed yet,but she probably forgot.

Cloud shook his head in 'shame' before he continued to eat, leaning back in his chair as he stared up at the roof with pursed lips. He thought of going on a mission or doing something to get out of the house and just venture out. He looked at his mother, who gave a look to Gray - as to say, 'there was something called too much.'
"Hey dad, I gotta question for you." He called over the table, watching Veina set everything down and seat herself while setting food on her plate, she ate a lot - mostly at dinner though.

Natsu looked to Lucy and gave a worried look before giving a smile of reassurance, though by far Lucy didn't need that reassurance. It was more over for Natsu since he was still a little iffy on the idea of his only child, his only daughter leaving and the risks that could be taken. "Alright, alright." He said and dug in his pocket for the jewels - placing a small velvet bag in her hand so that she could have a good enough support system to keep her going for a while.
"Enough with the jokes, go get ready." He said with a warm look on his face, giving his daughter a proud look before looking to Lucy and giving a warm look, a kind glint on his face.

Gray smirked at Veina. Of course. He looked at his son and nodded,"Sure,go." He said with a bites of food as he raised an eyebrow. "As long as it's not - then we are fine." He joked softly,and he snickered and did a small wave of his hand. "but..as I said, shoot."He said leaning back. Curious about what Cloud wanted,and he would eventually find out. He wondered for a second as he took another bite of food.

Her smile brightened as she placed Kay down who meowed and tilted her head. She took the bag and then ran back up. She ran in and pulled off her clothes. Which then came to throwing on a black tank top,blue t-shirt that fell loosely over her body,and her jeans. She then pulled on mismatched socks,and her shoes and tied the bag to her belt. She checks everything before pulling on her satchel. She runs down stairs and presents herself. "There! I am dressed,and I am pretty sure I match!~"She joked as she twirled with a laugh. She picked up Kay,who squeaked and looked up at her. "You're awfully excited this morning."Kay whispered softly to her and Ali nuzzled her head. "'Course I am."She said with a whisper as well. She looked up. She smiled,"I love you Mom,and Dad. I'll be back later,and tell what mission I chose."She said with a smile.

Lucy chuckled softly."Well atleast she is not going to be alone right?"She whispered to him,and smiled kindly. She was worried that Natsu might possibly stalk or try to go with her on her first mission. Ali would not allow it though. She would probably go with Cana. She chuckled,and shook her head at the though. She was worried for her daughter as well,but she knew not to underestimate her. She almost kicked Cana's butt once,despite her being a S-Rank. Which was funny... She smiled. "Love you too sweety."She told Ali with a wide smile.

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

Cloud narrowed his eyes and pursed his lips before he got over it and smiled lightly, "I'm bored around here, the town that is. And I've exhausted just about all of the 'jobs' around here." Pausing a moment and looking up at his dad, he raised a brow before continuing. "And I was wondering if I could take a mission outside of the town and more outside of it." He pursed his lips as he looked over his parents, fidgeting a little bit in his seat as he glanced around the room.

Veina looked Cloud over a moment as though he were kidding, "Yea? And who would your partner be? You're not as strong as you think you are, you'd need a partner." She said with a small glower on her face as she leaned in her seat a bit, glancing at Gray as though to tell him to be a bit more strict on the matter. After all, Cloud didn't really listen to her on more serious matters like this, he listened more to Gray.

Natsu waved her off before eyeing her socks when she said she 'matched'. Rolling his eyes a little, he waved her off with a small smile on his face, "Be safe! Love you too." He called after her when she left out the door, he gave a soft sigh before looking to Lucy when she spoke out, "Yea but I don't know who the partner would be. Cana and Erza aren't back yet and a lot of the others are either gone or leaving soon...."

Gray rubbed his face at the thought of Cloud leaving the town. He looked him up and down and scowled softly. "You can,but only if you take someone with you."He declared roughly,and grumbled softly.He scratched under his chin,and laughed. "I remember having to have a partner,and in fact it was Cana. She wasn't as nice back then,and actually kicked my butt.."He trailed off snickering. He got knocked on his butt the first time out of town,and Cana had to save him. Then she kicked his butt for almost getting them killed."But,yeah. Why don't you go and look for someone who is looking for partner? Try not to get one that will get you killed."He teased with a light grin.

Lucy looked up at him and grinned."Maybe she'll ask Lisanna if she's not busy? If not I guess she could wait till tomorrow.."She looked him over before mentioning the other dreaded question. "What if she wanted to partner up with Gray's kid?"She asked curiously. She didn't mind Cloud or Gray,and she actually liked Veina. Though Natsu didn't care for most of them,and was rival with Gray. The irony also being their magic. Natsu,fire,and Gray,ice. He snickered softly.

Kay and Ali were at the mission post. "Kaaay,what should we do? Who should we do it with?"She asked curiously to the Exceed. "Maybe we should go with someone your age?"Kay asked curiously,and Ali scrunched up her nose. "Nah,I don't think Cloud would want to go on a mission with me,or his parents,or mine,won't let us."She joked softly and rolled her eyes. Kay sighed and shook her head. She tapped a mission that was a 'rescue sort of mission'. "Maybe this?"Kay asked curiously. She shrugged,and just stared at the mission board with a soft sigh. She had to get a mission,and a partner. Joy.

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

Cloud gave a small smirk and nodded his head, not taking his father as seriously as Veina had hoped - after all, he started laughing three fourths of the way through. "Alright, deal." He said, finishing his full plate of food before going and getting dressed. He went up the stairs and grabbed his one back pack - it was large but it was baggy looking. It was dark green with a white circle on the front of it, it had a navy blue star on it with a red center. He pulled on black baggy pants that were black and puffy with white dots on it, he grabbed black cloth tape and tapped down the end part. From the shin down so that it stayed thin and flat. Grabbing a pair of higher thin combat boots, he tied them up and pulled on a red and white stripped shirt that he left untucked and rolled up to his elbows.

Veina shook her head a bit and looked to the side, "Good job." Voice holding sarcasm she smiled and pushed his shoulder, "You should have told him more firmly." She said but let it go, "I have to get ready, I'm heading out later today. You're doing the same too, right? Or are you staying home?" She asked, placing the plates in the sink and placing the left overs in the fridge. Veina looked over at him and tilted her head a bit in question. Her clothing already placed on the bed to wear.

Natsu looked over at her and frowned a bit at the other's words, he didn't like Gray and didn't want his kid near his darling daughter. He didn't personally try and get to know Gray but he didn't care, he thought - in his own mind without taking into consideration - that Cloud would be a bad influence on his child. Veina on the other hand, didn't mind him and honestly just kept out of his way. He did the same, "I'd rather they not be placed together." He stated with a soft huff.
