Michael's smile fades slightly, but a ghost of it is still there as Puck begins his speech. Green eyes flick over to the winner at random intervals, probably to check if he needs any reassurance. He also takes in the other male's appearance; he's slightly taller than Michael (which makes the shorter frown slightly) with hazel eyes which hold small flecks of green like his own. His dark hair is unruly, yet it seems to be so by purpose. The famous dancer gives a nod of appreciation mentally, before turning back to fully focus on the audience with a new yet fake smile. He's kept on stage for a little while after Puck leaves, but it's only to answer some random questions from the announcer. He tries to keep his responses enthusiastic, but after the rush of dancing and then hoping for the winner to... well, win, he's worn out.
He can't be more relieved when the show ends for good, and he slowly walks off to the side and grabs a bottle of water. He gulps some of it down, then begins to search for his new 'apprentice'. It doesn't take long; Michael finds the male sitting down further backstage, and he immediately approaches with a happy smile. He takes out a chair next to the other and sits down gently.
"Hey," he starts casually. "Well... you know the details about the training and stuff, right? Sure you'll be able to bear with me for two months?" His grin is teasing, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
