Silent felt the dragon's morse code apologizing. She was about to reply with an okay, or an alright, but suddenly the question occurred. Asking whether she was different. No, more like stating that she was different. Silent didn't know how to respond so she tried to change the subject. Every jewlie is different in their own way. What is your name?

I understand. I am Thyla.
Thyla seemed to look at Silent, eyes slightly narrowed, as to look a bit more normal.
Her mind snapped back to her past, strange friendships and fun memories.
But it was all gone now, everything.
Something was telling her that this dragon would help do that. But she wasn't sure to trust it
And what is your name?
Thyla seemed to cock her head at a slight angle, as if she were to see the
dragon's white and brown coat. She smelled the brown. Like chocolate, then the white, like
a coconut.

Silent Night

Silent felt the pulsations spell out a name. Thyla. She mouthed it to feel it on her tongue, and to understand what it probably sounded like, although it was slightly unclear. The question came forth. I am Silent Night, she morsed. Just call me Silent.

Thyla said the words. "Silent..." under her breath.
Her light grey blue feet shuffled as she slightly blushed.
Thyla calmed herself then started to yawn. She sat down.
Mind if I take a nap? I'm a bit tired.

Silent Night

Silent's eyesight, which had improved to compensate for her loss of hearing, picked up the smallest of movement. It was Thyla, moving her lips. She was saying Silent. Silent knew what that sounded like. She was quiet and then responded to Thyla's morse. It's alright. She wanted to ask Thyla something. Why didn't this jewelie speak? She wasn't deaf or seemed mute, as she was quite talkative over morse. She was only blind, and that didn't affect speaking, Silent thought. So, she asked through her morse, Mind if I ask you a question?

Yes, of course. Thyla replied. Her heart was beating a little faster, this always happened.
When ever she was around others. Thyla sat down in the cool grass, curling her tail around her paws.

Silent nodded and took a deep breath, feeling the tension. She used her not too good morse code to ask, Is there a reason you do not speak?

Thyla was thinking, memories whipped by her, bringing tears to her sightless eyes.
I was brought up like this. It wasn't until later that I learned to speak. It comes much more naturally.

Silent was quiet a moment before she asked her one more favor, her morse quick and nervous. Would you mind speaking for me? I need to... she stopped her tapping completely for a good twenty seconds until she slowly added, hear you. In reality, she wanted to get used to the dragon's was of talking, it'd make her lip reading much easier. It was different for every dragon.
