Light pushed the chair back, getting up and leaving his room. He grumbled something under his breath again, going down the hallway and into the living room where Sayu was watching TV.

He watched; eyes never strayed from their location on the screen. Days before, he had told them to wire the houses; no angle would be unseen. The orders had paid off as he watched the boy- his "target", as to speak- with upmost care and precision.

[Hornz]

{{Ohhh. I knew a bunch of them at my old school from two years ago. No wonder I'm glad I left. xD}}

Light sat on the couch, not having anything else to do. He could leave, but that would look suspicious.
"Light, I want some apples."
Managing to hide a cringe when Ryuk broke his thoughts, Light propped his elbow up on the arm of the couch, leaning his head against his hand.
"Liiiiiiighttttttt!"

{{Pfft. Ryuk. XD}}

Ryuuzaki sighed. " He isn't doing anything... Nothing of suspicion. For now... We must leave the cameras on."

Light looked back into the kitchen where his mom was making dinner. "Hey, Mom. I'll be back later. Just going to get some chips from the store." After he got a nod in response, he got up and left out the front door.
"Can we get apples, too? We don't have any, you know, and I can't eat them in there and—"
Light ignored him, walking down the sidewalk in the direction of the convienent store.

< Ooh! ouo What is it?>

" He's left..." Ryuuzaki breathed. " Going to buy chips..."

{{I had this idea where (not now, but later. Like, a lot later) Light and Misa are both under suspicion like that part in the hotel in the anime/manga and Misa's being all...Misa-like on Light and L gets jealous and confesses to liking Light X3}}

"Ryuk. Shut up."
The Shinigami made a sort of frown, though the somewhat disturbing grin that was constantly plastered on his face barely moved. "You're so mean, Light."
Light didn't answer, pushing open the doors to the store. It took him a matter of minutes to find a bag of chips — and two apples to make Ryuk be quiet. He payed for them, then left the store again.

Ryuuzaki stood up, sighing. " We won't find anything out while he isn't there.... We need to get more information."

{{Yay~! 8D And then Misa and L would fight over Light. XD}}

Light turned, deciding to go the somewhat longer way home. He gave the two apples to Ryuk, glad that it was dark and no one was around to see two floating apples getting eaten. After a little while — and the apples were gone — Light got back home, opening the door and walking back inside.

" But how..." Ryuuzaki sighed. " He'll figure it out eventually if we try something more than the cameras..."
