She lay about the long stone slab. The sun was going down and she looked up at the sky. It was going to rain.

Sniffing at the grass, he realized a peculiar scent. Shrew... he thought. He was hungry, especially after that long trek back through the woods.

She padded through the forest, her head low. Storm looked up at the darkening sky and grew happy at the thought of it raining.

Cody

Cody stood atop his dog house, which had a flat roof for that purpose. He looked over the fence of his yard and looked around at the other houses.

Standing, she went back to her house. Lightly stepping on the stones to the backyard, she padded inside her dog house. Stretching her back, she shall lay awake until the rain comes.

He had caught the shrew, now eating it. Thinking of his trek, he smelt the rainclouds coming. They came from the East. Hurrying himself, he needed to find shelter. Loud noises were one of his phobias.

She perked her ears, scenting another dog and a fresh kill. A cautious growl escaped her throat as she followed the scent silently.

Cody

Looking out into the neighbor's yards, Cody spotted a small dog(Courtney). He was used to seeing toy breeds as indoor dogs so it baffled him while it was outside when a storm was on its way.

(courtney is about the size of a full-grown beagle)
She looked over the fence as well, meeting the other dog's eyes. Seeing the collie, she knew he looked at her. "What?" She barked across to him.

Trotting around, he peered into small dens. Which one would conceal him the most? He found a stream nearby an old rabbit den that was perfect for him. Washing off the shrew blood, he lapped up some of the water.

She got closer to the scent and saw the form of a male dog. Storm tilted her head in confusion as to why he was in the forest. The fae barked loudly to get his attention without words.

Cody

He sat down on the roof of his dog house, still visible to the stranger. "I was just wondering why you weren't inside by the fireplace or something." He spoke with a low voice.

"I'm an outside dog, I don't like indoors. I get too much attention." She sat with a huff. The sky started to drizzle very lightly.

Shawn perked his ears. "Arf?" He barked. "Hello?" He said, peering into the bushes where storm stood. "Can I, uh.. help you? Are you lost?"
