once upon a time the emerald pack had their alpha. a male wolf named bat. he had a mate named snowbell, and unfortunatly she died while giving birth to two pups otherwise known as twins cause yea deal with it. in the pack, once you have a mate and have pups you cannot take on another mate. loyalty stuff, ya know? also, the packs have this religion thing, and when pups are born during a clear sky, it's a blessing. the cloudier and worse the weather, the less blessed the pup was. the two pups were unfortunately born during a horrible raining thunderstorm, and to make it worse, their mother died as well. during a night, after 4 months they were born, they were attacked by the ruby pack, one of their neighboring packs. emerald, ruby, sapphire, and opal. the ruby pack noticed the two pups hidden away in the corner, and by the scent, sleeping alone. little did they know, they were hiding, but the ruby pack assumed they were forced there, and took them into shelter. when bat realized his pups were missing, he attacked the ruby pack and a female queen named whisper fled with the two, then hiding the pups and then died at bat's paws. the male wolf almost tore the ruby pack apart, and when no pups were found, they retreated back because the sapphire pack came to help the ruby pack. bat was depressed and saddened. years passed, around 6 years, and the twins were living together as rouges. one of the eldest hunters saw the two, and instantly began to talk to them. he knew they looked familiar, and realized who they were by their names; raven and bishop. the old she-wolf explained everything to them in great detail, and led them to the emerald pack. bat was old, and had to find a worthy heir. usually the alphas were all related, and it was honored to be chosen as the alpha's mate, or chosen as an heir due to the alpha having no living or worthy pups. but now. . . there were two heirs. only one could be alpha, because they didn't believe in incest and hated it. bat didn't know what to do. his pups came back to him, his only reminder of his beloved snowbell. if he chose one to be then next alpha, the other might think he chose favorites! he didn't have time to bond with them and make sure they knew how much he loved them equally. . rumors spread quickly and side were chosen. soon, there was a civil war. raven's group, with her right paw dog neith, and bishop's group, with his right paw dog _____. three months have passed and there were arguments and fighting. . . bat agreed to the war, because he knew the existence of his pack was on the line. he agreed to it as long as every year they had at least ONE week peacefully. this will occur every 50 pages. bat soon passed away, and the two groups split the territory until one wolf won. and then, here we are. the war is still current, and in some fear, the other three packs retreated farther away. they knew better than to interfere. a few years passed, still fighting. . . and fighting. . . and fighting. until two wolves were born. a female from bishop's group, and a male from raven's group. during the week of peace, they met. . . and fell in love. . .
