Hoof -beats pound the open land, thundering across the grass, millions of wild horses roam free. No ropes, no fences and no boundaries just endless miles of grazing and adventure. But life in the wild isn't all fun in games, danger lurks around every corner. For a wild horse there are endless threats, predators are not uncommon, and bad weather is usual. Not to mention all the other hidden threats... Welcome to a place where earths creatures are free, and the sky is truly the limit.

Wandering around aimlessly, the lone mares roam the land, grazing, drinking and trying to stay alive on their own. For a horse this is a difficult task and never easy, but don't worry ladies, there are plenty of stallions who will gladly come a welcome you into his herds. Or if your unlucky maybe not. A select few have found ways to live peacefully on their own, but many won't be as fortunate.

Weather you were kicked out of your birth herd merely a few moments ago, or have been a bachelor for many years its all the same routine. Survive, find company, get mares. Of course the most important, and most difficult thing to do is survive. There are plenty of horses spread across the land so you shouldn't have much trouble with that, its the surviving on your own bit that often kills. Can you make it?

Season: Summer (1/4)



Spring is the time when most mares are in heat. Stallions are often snaking mares and trying to make their herds bigger. The weather is calm and warm, with an occasional thunderstorm or rain is not uncommon.



Some mares are still in heat, but not very many. Stallions are still trying to make their herds bigger though! It's now very warm and humid, but rain is still quite common.


In autumn very few mares are still in heat and the stallions have relaxed a bit. Some bachelors still might try to snake mares from other herds. Mares can also settle down and focus on getting nutrition for unborn foals or just for themselves. Rain and thunder is more common now.



Now no mares are in heat and some early foals may start to be born. Some of the water is frozen and there is less grazing. Rain and snow are common and it can get very cold. The stallions are not really snaking many mares anymore

Yay! Myth (The evil stallion) was defeated! And Dark actually got a mare for the first time in history. Wow. This has been a strange day Sorry if I messed anyone's brain up with my random post. I'm just glad evil Myth got defeated by an epic stallion like Dark!

Personality;; A lot has happened to this young filly in her short life, these bad experiences have made her afraid and jittery. Flicka has spent most of her life alone, and is to afraid to change that, the sweet little horse spooks at anything and everything. She is unbelievably shy, and if a horse somehow finds her and tries to speak to her, often she would just stand there dumbstruck, racking her brain for ways to escape. Flicka finds it hard to trust others, and is always very cautious and quiet. She just doesn't know how to react around others, she wasn't raised like other horses, she was raised in fear and quiet, not to metion in solitude. She has been in herds though, but just tossed around like a rag doll, she had grown to fear herds and stallions and other horses, and predators, and trees, and sounds, and clouds, and rain, and flowers, and butterflies, and bees, and and and...
History;; You're here for a happy fairy tale with an oh so perfect ending? You have come to the very wrong place. Flicka's story is filled with fear, hurt and pain. If your not one who likes sad stories, I suggest you leave. It all started the moment she was born, it was dark, and her mother was frightened. After Flicka had stood up and suckled, her dam started pacing around nervously, unsure of what was going on, the young filly whinnied quietly and nosed her mother. The older horse backed away in fear, confused and starting to feel scared, the foal tried to fall asleep. That night she woke many times, and nothing had happened, but then she woke up to a living nightmare. In the little clearing where the pinto was born, was a tall, strong and furious black stallion. On the floor were splatters of blood. Flicka's dam was no where to be seen...

The intimidating black horse stared directly at the filly, and the youngster took a nervous step back. As the stallion came towards her, the young one called for her mother, in the distance she heard a faint reply. Without a second glance, the little foal darted around the stallion and rushed away from the clearing, the stallion did not follow. Not yet. Flicka found her mother limping around, covered in blood. Then she collapsed on the ground, her filly scared to death. Only a few hours after she was born did her life become hell, her mother was dead, and for all she knew some crazy stallion was after her.

Sppoking at every little noise the weak filly journeyed on, unsure of what would happen to her. Being a young foal she did not know the many dangers of the world, yet knew she was never safe. On her way, she bumped into a lone mare, at first she cowered in fear, clacking her teeth and falling over. The mare was kind, but very jittery, and at first the two horses were scared of each other. Eventually the mare 'adopted' the filly since she still had milk left from her last foal that had died.

The mare taught her the dangers, and each day the youngster grew more fearful. It was only ever her and that mare, she never learned to socialize, and was deathly afraid of horses as well as flowers, and wolves, and bees, and etc... But she grew up safe with this mare, she was alive and at that time that was the only thing that truly mattered. When two years old, Flicka was snaked away from the mare, screaming and bucking and completely freaking.

The stallion didn't give a toss about her though, he saw mares as inanimate trophies, things that don't have feelings. He died later that year, Flicka didn't feel any grief though. She never saw the mare who raised her again though. Once again she was snaked, ignored and beat up by stallions. She got away though, and found the clearing where she was born.

Her birthplace seemed as close to paradise as a horse could want, lots of grazing, clean fresh water, shade and shelter and space to run! Not to mention it was hidden far away, if any stallion was to come across her clearing the poor filly wouldn't know what to do!

Personality;; Rhea is generally friendly and calm, she is wiling to help out and loves making new friends. At times she tends to be a bit of a flirt with the stallions and can get quite stubborn but is usually very sweet and lovable, although she tries to come across as brave, Rhea gets spooked quite easily, and being a fast mare, she can be hard to catch. The bay mare is polite but is never afraid to stand up for herself, or her beliefs.
History;; Like most, Rhea was born and raised in her dam's herd, then left when she was a two year old. She joined a few herds, and eventually they all split up someway or another, now she just roams around, unsure of what she wants. Not much else to say really.

Very friendly and bubbly, but sometimes tends to be a bit bossy. She loves foals and makes a good mother, she is responsible and trustworthy, but can often be quite stubborn. Another lower point is she is VERY bold, although often a good thing, she tends to speak her mind a bit to much which often results in trouble.

Silver is very loyal, she would do anything for her friends, or family is she had anything. Since she is a good fighter, she has saved her few 'friends' lives multiple times. She has many scars.

Personality;; Whisper is your average easy-going, willing to listen, quiet and slightly timid mare. To be honest she just doesn't want to get hurt and is very submissive, she avoid's fights at all costs and is fine on her own or in a herd. The pinto tends to spook at unseen, or unheard things, she isn't exactly shy, just quiet and calm. Unlike most curious and more outgoing horses, Whisper just minds her own business and goes with the flow. She hates being nothing special, she's just normal. The are could be someone else, but is too scared to change. Her personality has kept her safe.
History;; To be completely truthful there is barely a story to tell. Whisper's life is completely 100% normal. So far that is. Like most she was born in her dam and sire's herd and grew up there. She was playful and bubbly when she was young. That was when she was unaware of the dangers that even other horses held. When she was two she left like most, but was picked up by a meaner stallion. She was tossed around like a ragdoll, and hurt when she didn't listen. So she learned to submit and stay quiet. She's too afraid to do much else.

Personality;; Snow is a wise and caring mare, especially at her young age. She is extremely loyal, but always tells the truth. Snow is a mare who will not tolerate mean stallions, or mares for that matter, and will basically not put up with it. She doesn't know how to feel about herds. She is definitely not a mare who rushes up to a stallion a first glance, giggles a bit and joins his herd easy as that. No. To get Snow into your herd you will have to persuade her. Tell her why she should go with you instead of stay on her own. And maybe, if you do a good enough job she'll agree to join. Beware, she does not take kindly to stallions who mistreat their mares. She forgives snaking sometimes, since as mentioned before, she is wise and knows what is natural and what can stop.

Personality;; Storm is a fairly playful young stallion, he enjoys foals a lot. Words that most describe Storm's nature are respectful, kind, gentle and caring. Storm is a friendly horse, he isn't shy and loves making new friends. He is very caring and will do anything to keep his mares safe, the only time Storm may seem a little rude is when he is trying to help his mares but they won't listen.
History;; Storm has had quite a normal upbringing. Born in the wild on a cold night, he was born into a small herd. His sire was lead stallion and his dam was lead mare. For a while he was the only foal around, until one other mare gave birth to a small weak filly. Storm made friends with the filly easily, but she was frail and not strong enough to survive the harsh winters. The young colt was distraught went she died.

Soon Storm was a mature two year old and it came time for his sire to make him leave. Storm didn't mind. The colt was optimistic about everything! He even had a start to his own herd by the end of the day. Sadly there was a bad blizzard in the wintertime, and Storm and his mares were separated. Storm doesn't know if they are alive, he hopes they are. But ever since he has been a bachelor, barely seeking a herd. He's changed his mind though, this springtime he wanted to build up a herd.

Personality;; Three words to describe Ghost are Loyal, Wise and Protective. He has already been around for seven years and knows the way of a herd and the world, he understands the predators and dangers of the wild and knows how to protect his mares from the many threats. Although sometimes he tends to be a little overprotective, Ghost is sweet and kind, and even though he would never show it to another stallion, he wouldn't hurt a fly. Unless of course that fly was bugging him. Then watch out! Once your Ghost's friend your his friend for life and he would risk everything for a friend. He is extremely loyal and very smart, but can get real stubborn at times. He loves his mares but he knows that sometimes in order to keep them safe he must be a bit tough at times.
History;; If your looking for an interesting story look elsewhere. Ghost's life is far from different, like any other normal wild horse he was born and raised in his dam's herd and for his first few years just frolicked around gleefully with the other colts and fillies. But of course once the young stallion turned two he was driven away by his sire to find his own herd. His first few weeks were unfortunate, so instead of experiencing untold dangers in solitude, Ghost joined a small band of bachelor stallions. At first all was well with the other stallions, but eventually all the stallions started their own bands and Ghost was alone once again.

For awhile Ghost was alone, a mare joined his herd but was soon snaked away by a stronger older stallion. Eventually though Ghost learned, he soon had a bigger herd with many mares and foals that he adored, but the winter broke it all apart. Soon the cold came rolling in, and many of the foals died of the bitter cold and then there was a terrible blizzard that separated and even killed a few of the mares. Once again Ghost was alone and grieving, but the heartbreak didn't stop him.

He had many herds, and many mares and lots of foals. Now he is a bachelor though, still looking for more mares.

Personality;; Myth is different. Sadly not in a good way, unlike some, Myth see's mares only as trophies, and believe's that they have no feelings. To be completely honest the stallion is just plain mean! Harsh, hurtful, rude are all very good words to describe Myth. He's been called evil and heartless by many, thing is... he's stopped caring. The mean horse loves to fight, and is great at creating them, even though he barely likes his mares, he is willing to risk his life for them. Well not to protect them, only to keep them from other stallions. Myth snakes without even trying to be nice, but sometimes, rarely, on his good days he might just deceive you by seeming nice...
History;; Surprisingly, nothing in Myth's average past has made him like he is. He is just pure mean. No bad experiences have made him this way. Since he was born in his sire's herd he made trouble. When he was two he got kicked out and had a huge herd since he pretty much snaked, and fooled every mare in sight. He most likely has lots of foals, not that he cares about any. (I feel sorry for any foal born into his herd) If it's another stallion's foal he would kill it as soon as possible...

A huge storm separated Myth from his mares, which infuriated him. Now he goes around snaking mares and telling them lies.

Personality; "Some say I am wild, untrainable, that my personality gets in the way of my talent and so many other offensive things! From that I guess you could gather I'm fiery and strong-willed?"

Spirit is a very wild and defiant young stallion. He is extremely strong-willed, and won't listen to reason, simply his own intentions. He is one of those horses that whatever you do annoys them, they will only do what you want them to do when they feel like it and is very....frustrating. But that's not all! His ego is bigger than the whole universe. He thinks he's the best, most amazing, god-created being in the world! This usually gets him into trouble, most likely with other males, as he is only young. So, I'd say the best way to sum this horse up is defiant, up-himself and ignorant.
History; "My history is pretty boring....just warning you!"

Spirit was born at a very rich, private stud in Germany, from some very beautiful horses! They were both very talented, friendly and happy to be around people. But then, when Spirit was born, nobody could figure out where this... stubborn foal came from! He was obviously going to be a stunner, if only he could be trained. His master tried entering him in a few competitions, just to see if he would perform well in competitions. Well, at first he did, but then he'd get bored and start showing off, making people dislike him a lot! But then, one fine night, the gate was accidentally left open, and he escaped, when he was 2 years old! And well, he's still living wild, 'living life to the full'

Glade is a fairly shy, reserved mare. It is thought because she was taken away from her natural mother, and had no choice but to be raised by a different mare. She keeps to herself mostly, and will only confide in horses she really trusts. Eventhough she is shy as a butterfly, or a bird, she longs to have many foals in her lifetime, and be a part of a herd, but mostly feel like she belongs somewhere. Glade is very gentle, and would never hurt a fly. She can be a bit jumpy and uneasy around horses she doesn't know, but she slowly relaxes as she gets to know them.
History; "Nothing much, just I was raised in the Netherlands, a fire burned down the stable and I was the only horse to escape. I will never forget the sound of screaming horses, flames burning everything in the stable, and most of all, my second mother be ridden away by my master, who just left us all on our own. I could safely say that experience has scarred me for life."
