Rules:
This is a semi-lit role-play.
No horses that always win everything.
Keep it realistic, romance e.t.c
Keep your genders even.
Only one rider per user.
Use brackets or so to be OOC. Example - ( ), { }, and so on.
No OOC romance or fighting.
No time-skipping without my permission.
I decide which horse is assigned to whom.
Do not go more than 10 pages without me.

Yard Rules:
Never ride a horse without a helmet.
Never ride after dark.
Don't let strangers onto the farm.
Fighting will not be tolerated.
Never leave an unattended horse tied up.
Never litter.
Report any injuries immediately.
Never leave the stable without permission.
Never abuse a horse.
Let people know where you are at all times.
Never leave anything lying around for horses to injure themselves.
Clean brushes after each use.
Clean tack after each ride and report any damage.
Sweep hay or bedding back into the stall after each ride and make sure they have water and no food.
Change bedding weekly
Poo Pick Daily.
Groom 30minutes before each ride and leave 10 minutes to tack up and get equipment.
Groom 1hour after ride.
Pick hooves before and after each ride.
Never ride in snowy weather, unless it’s in the school and under supervision.
Horses should be in the field or stable which ever they are assigned, they should be in at 4pm daily.
Never put females and males in a field together, unless instructed to.

Facilities
Main House
19th Century house with a continuous garden running around the house.
Indoor arena
The large arena for all discriplines.
Feed Room
Keep it tidy and use the broom provided to sweep up dropped feed.
Shower Stalls
The new built in Shower Stalls, found in the barn at the end, there is also heaters there to stop the horses getting cold, along with after-shower fleeces and no windows to stop draughts, there is also heaters/sunning lights to dry horses off with.

Outdoor Show Jumping Arena
An adjustable outdoor jumping arena, which can accommodate more jumps or less jumps or as a dressage arena.

Take a nice dip in this pool and relax those worked tense horse muscles.

He is a big horse with a big personality, he loves cuddles and attention. He is quiet and strong headed and really needs a confident rider and he hates losing.


Double Twelve |Black Arabian Stallion |8yrs |15hh
He is a true gentleman really but he can be violent and is leader of the herd, if anyone is in front of him, he’ll bite them. He won’t take no for an answer, so if you out for a jump, he will say no we are going over this jump.


Strike a Chord |Chestnut Danish Warm blood Gelding |7yrs |15.3hh
He is very loving and proves people wrong, when they are in doubt, which makes the horse very loveable, pulling on people’s heart strings. He is often cheeky pulling lots of face for people to laugh at.


Warrizk |Bay Selle Francis Stallion |5yrs |16.1hh
He is still learning, he loves to run and jump, he also bucks when he goes into canter. The silliest thing he does is chase people out of his field, which means the owner or manager has to go get him. He needs an experienced rider to bring him on.


Ziggy |Grey Trakehner Mare |15yrs |16hh
Being one of the oldest mares, she is still lively and still has a buzz going over jumps, she has had three foals, all proved to be good champions. She is very quiet going over the jumps, she is calm and collective and she knows what to do, she ignores boys when in lessons and sometimes in the field. She can take on a nervous rider.


HourGlass | Chestnut Hanoverian Mare |9yrs |16.2hh
HourGlass is a moody mare, she doesn`t like being tacked up, she doesn`t like whips, but you can still use one; she just goes faster if you flick it. She doesn`t like being crowded, she doesn`t like boys getting too close in lesson otherwise she bucks or tries to kick them. She needs a confident rider.


Maximus III |Grey Irish Draught Stallion |8yrs |16hh
He is a true gentleman, he does everything and responds to voices really well, he knows that if he accidently falls on a rider that is under him, he gets off quickly and stays with them until help comes.


Saber Tooth |Palomino Quarter Horse Stallion |6yrs |14.3hh
He is very strong headed, but he is a lovely ride when you can get him to go, he is very fast and has a lot of stamina. He often gets into fights with Double Twelve. When he can canter, he will canter to the front of the ride, so he needs an experienced confident rider.


One Night Stand |Dun Mustang Mare|3yrs |13.2hh
She is young and fast, she has been broken but not used by riders much, but at least everyone gets to ride her at least once before leaving for the summer, she is very loud and still green, she likes loose reins, and a whip to keep her on track. She does go really fast when she is not held back. She does nap, so she needs an experienced confident rider. Other than that she is a big baby in the stable.


Damsel |Blue Roan Welsh Pony Gelding |10yrs |15hh
Damsel us such a big baby, he often chickens out on jumps, he loves dressage, but he will only listen to the rider, if the rider is doing it wrong then he won’t go. Sometimes he does things spontaneously to impress mares, it’s like he doesn’t realise he is a gelding and most of all he likes to chew on things, He can adapt to any rider.


Sasha |Dun Sorraia Stallion |12yrs |12hh
Being our most smallest, he loves running despite his size, if the rider is not sat properly or holding the reins he is more likely to run off where he wants.


Tapastry |Black New Forest Gelding |9yrs |14.2hh
He is very lazy and often pulls cheeky faces and when you have your back turned he is the type of horse that will pull off a rug or saddlecloth. Other than this is an excellent jumper and goes for jumps and has won many local shows with correct riders.


Nancy |Dark Bay Oldenburg Mare|4yrs |15.2hh
She is very unpredictable, she can rear and buck and she is very playful in the field and hates the stable. She is very hormonal, so she needs an experienced rider.


Sheenan |Strawberry Roan Connemara Stallion |10yrs |14.2hh
He loves jumping, he is very cheeky and will go for a jump if the person isn`t ready. He may have the fastest jump time, but he needs an experienced rider.

He is a true gentleman, he is very well behaved but he likes to follow his friends.


Patch Work |Skewbald Hunter Gelding |7yrs |14.2hh
He is a very proud horse and he is considered an all-rounder, he doesn`t mind doing work, in fact he tries to impress people. He loves a good scratch. If he doesn`t get rewarded for his work, he won’t move when you next ride him as he has a very good memory.

She is the cheekiest out of the girls. If you fall off she will have her head stuck in a bush, eating. She is most playful out of the mares too and loves attention.


D-Day |Dark Bay Irish Sport Horse Stallion |13yrs |15.1hh
He loves to impress people and be right at the centre of attention. He is playful in his field and his is the most successful having been to all the major shows and placing in the top ten, he won Olympia and came 3rd in badminton getting him a silver medal in the 2008 Olympics. He is going to the horse of the year show next year.


Tick Tok |Skewbald Paint Horse Mare|18yrs |15hh
She is easy-going, but sometimes she dives into corners of the school and just stays there, she is very unusual with her behaviour and she is checked by the vet often, being the oldest horse and they say she has nothing wrong with her. This hasn`t stopped her from being the cup holder of the HOY in 2004. Once she went to Olympia and she stopped dead in the middle of the course and the rider had to pull out and rested her for two weeks. She is very clumsy and dim-witted.

He is very stubborn and he often gets his own way, if he doesn`t he bucks, but he doesn`t rear or bite. He just needs a confident or experienced rider.

How would you ask for canter?: I would get my horse going fast to make a smooth transition to canter by raising my leg and holding it, by the outside wall and wait until my horse is in canter, and give a little tap when I kick holding the leg there if the horse does not go.
How would you take off a saddle?: I would make sure the horse is alert and knows my presence and then lifting the saddle flap, undo the buckles and gently lower the girth and go round the front to the other side to unbuckle the other side placing the girth on the saddle gently and sliding the saddle off towards me.

Once she grew out of him, he went to her younger brother and she loaned a 16h Bay irish hunter thoroughbred X, who she trained to event as she was a showjumper, and then who she competed on for a while, but then the owners of the mare decided to sell her, so she applied for a place here where she can get more experiance and learn from the best of them.

How would you ask for canter?: I would get my horse into a nice trot, not to fast so they are rushing, but not slow either, a nice balanced, forward trot, i would then tighten my inside rein and bend my horse around my inside leg slightly, then ask my horse to canter by kicking or squeezing my outside leg and using my seat to push my horse forward.
How would you take off a saddle?: I would first be sure the horse knew i was there, and would stand on the left hand side of my horse, and lift the left saddle flap, undo the buckles, making sure not to let the girth swing under the horse. Then go around the front of the horse to the other (right) side and lift the girth carefully onto the saddle, then slip the saddle steadily off the horses back.
