He was a bit surprised by her nuzzle and turned to his foals. He looked them over again before being alerted to Karma's approach. Carefully he stood in between the other, younger stallion and his children. He looked at the two half siblings that were Haley and Karma and shook his head before leaning over to Haley. "You know, you'd really be better off with me." He whispered in her ear, quiet enough so Karma didn't hear. He straightened back up and proceeded to stare down Karma. "Hello there Karma. Here is your 'mare' as promised," He tossed a glance back at the three following him, "Except she wonders if she could keep one of her foals. The colt, to be exact, the black one she has deemed Nosferatu." He shrugged and turned to Karma again, lifting his chin high as he considered the paint.

Karma nodded to Ebony in greeting. His icy blue eyes narrowed into slits when he saw Ebony whisper something in Haley's ear, something that he didn't catch. And after his mare being with the stallion for a whole year, he was starting to harbor a distrust for her as well. "I will let the foal stay with me, but I will only tolerate him at most." He tossed his head to the side, motioning for Haley and the colt to come join him. He glared at Ebony. "I hope this is the last time you and I meet, because next time I promise things will not end well for you." He was weaker and smaller than Ebony, but he was about ready to go completely, insanely berserk at this point. Blinded and numbed by fury and hatred. And he needed some way to get back at this stallion, taking his mare, almost killing him... He didn't even know why he was just standing here when he could at least be making an attempt to attack the stallion, but that would be the stupidest thing he could ever do right now. He exhaled heavily through his nostrils, obviously angered, and at this point his muscles were actually quivering. He just needed to destroy something, be destructive one way or another, whether it was towards himself or another horse. To let off some anger. His tail lashed, and he turned to leave. He glanced back at Haley. "Lets go. Now."

Haley nodded to Comet. She trembled a little as she watched the stallions. "How long will you tolerate him Karma? That very phrase makes it sound like you want him gone soon." She flinched at his command but stood her ground.

Nosferatu quivered fearfully and pressed his body against his mother's shoulder.

Karma lifted his hoof to take a step, assuming Haley and the colt were following. But they weren't, and at Haley's words, he froze. He slowly turned so that he could look at her, pupils dilated. His eyes kind of had a wild, crazed look, as if he was about to snap, as she hadn't directly obeyed him like he expected. "Depends," he snarled. "Mostly on behavior." The large paint stallion turned fully and trotted over to her, almost as if he forgot Ebony was still there beside her. His eyes and voice softening, he tugged on her forelock gently and continued, "come on, don't you want to see Makkila's foals? She had twins. A colt and a filly." He walked over to her side and nudged her shoulder. "Now lets go, I can't leave my herd alone forever." His voice was stern again, but not quite as harsh as before. He just wanted to get out of here, before he hurt something, considering there was no non-living object nearby.

She flinched and looked worriedly at Nosferatu. Suddenly she stepped back from him but was shocked by Karma's gentleness. She nodded. She gentlely nudged Nosferatu forward.

He chuckled quietly. Oh what affect he had on Karma! He enjoyed this and the fact he knew he had the upper hand. "Oh right Karma, because next time will be any different. If there even is a 'next time'." He said quietly to himself and turned to cock his head at Haley. She was right about that but the leopard stallion planned to check in on his son next spring. And if he wasn't alive and well.... To say the least, Karma really shouldn't let his guard down. He saw his son shaking and moved so he samwitched the two foals between their mother and their father. He tapped them both on the withers then turned his black gaze back to Karma as he walked up and ordered the two away.

Haley watched Ebony confused. She stayed still and watched him.

"Thank you," Karma whispered, mostly to himself, relieved as she finally agreed and started to head back. He began to herd the two away, shooting Ebony one last deadly glare. He would probably chase both Nosferatu and Tartarus out next spring; Nosferatu wasn't his own son and Tartarus was just too violent and headstrong. He trotted up beside Haley and rubbed his muzzle on her neck. "I'm sorry," he huffed. You probably hate me now, the yearling Karma no longer exists... When Haley was no longer going, he wheeled around again, his lip peeled back. "Well? Aren't you coming?" He growled.
