I never wanted to be better than my friends.
I just wanted to prove wrong the people in my head.
The ones who told me I'd be better of dead.
The ones who told me that I would never win.
Parousia was in the clearing admiring it and Amira when he heard yellings from by the water hole. It quickly caught his attention since both voices sounded familiar. He stood poised and listening as the two voices grew louder and louder. He waited until one of the voices was clear enough to understand. He made out Rain's voice and grew worried. "I'm going to make sure she's alright. I'll be back," he said and began to trot towards them until he heard a battle cry from one. It was Rai. His ears went flat against his skull and he screamed in pure rage. Like a shot, he thundered out of the clearing leaving Amira behind and eating the distance between him and his lead mare.
I thought if I suceeded, I'd be happy and they'd go away
but first ting every morning, I'd still wake up and I'd hear them say:
"You're fat, ugly and stupid; you should really be ashamed. No one will ever like you, you're not good at anything"
sometimes I'd rise to the challenge
but other times I'd feel so bad that I could not get out of bed.
