Shear looked around cautiously as the sent of other wolves reached her nose. she stopped. they were close. she wimpered, happy to smell her own kind after such a long while, and fearful of what they wold be like. she sented again. they were going to run right into her. she dident know what to do, so she hid in a bush.

Her mind was a swirl of emotions.
She couldn't really think.
It was like she was in a dream unseen...nothing was real, yet she was there.
Black and other colors engulfed her, and slowly..slowly her body was falling a part, but then blue again. Blue for rain, blue for water. Happiness flooded into her and her mouth watered; water! She strained herself her hardest to wake, not knowing how much time had passed.
It had been 30 minutes while Sirus shook and shook her. She slowly blinked her eyes open, but her eye-lids drooped, urging her to fall asleep...to enjoy being lost in nothing. She shook her head, baffled at of why in the world she wanted to sleep so bad, and, confused more still, at why the water made her so cheerful. But she didn't really care...she was still a bit lost, but was beginning to wake up more from her odd dream. "Water!" she squealed, leaning over and lapping up as much water her mouth would hold. She swallowed, then drank more...Her eyes sparkled and she looked at Sirus happily, "it's water!" she barked again, drinking even more. Her belly began to get sloshy.

"Oh, Kanna!" Sirius gasped, licking her face with relief. "I thought...I thought..." He couldn't bring himself to say the words, so he lay next to her, allowing his body to relax. "Are you alright now?" Sirius waited patiently for her to finish the water, wagging his tail; Kanna's joy was contagious.

shear looked around, still knowing that she was very visible. "oh, well." she decided, and walked out into broad daylight. the clouds were starting to cover the sky, and the coolness made her feel good. her back arched, she waited for the wolves to appear.
