The black phase she wolf sighed and shook her head. Hurrying away from the camp, and slowing once they were actually away from the others. She turned to look at River again. Saying “It’s fine, it shouldn’t have been a problem…and I don’t know why he made a fuss.” Especially since there weren’t as many of them to feed now. Liberty was gone, Maison was gone, Chi was gone, Milo…She sighed again, and shook her head again. Then headed for where Blaze had asked them to check around at.

She’d smelled the Starlight wolf as they’d headed out of the camp…The smell seemed familiar, from back when Eros had run away from camp. She thought it smelled like the…beta, maybe. Shaking her head, she continued to walk along. Sniffing the air a bit and not smelling any other Starlight wolves. She’d also smelled Eros on the way out, but she pushed down her excitement. Saying “I don’t smell or see any Starlight wolves. We should keep an eye and an ear out though,” she said.

Akiro- m- 2 y 3 mo- Fighter- homosexual- crush: Castor maybe, definitely Koll- Tags: Blaze, Dante-> Gauge, River

The reddish looking male twitched darker ears. His darker tipped tail flicked, and he glanced to the darker furred male. He said “Okay,” to him, and watched him a moment. Saying “I…Im glad I was of use to you,” then watching him head off. He himself thought maybe he should go find the other two. He wasn’t sure about taking River away from helping Gauge, though…The hunters looked like they were already heading out anyway. Shaking his head, he headed out of the camp and followed scents.

Soon finding the two she wolves, though they’d honestly gone further then he’d expected. He shook that thought away. Calling “Hey you two,” to the two of them. Still not sure about telling River to head back…since the hunters might be gone by the time she got back, plus these two might be about to head back anyway.

The blue-gray pup and white pup glanced over at Gauge and River a moment. Watching as they seemed to make a run for it. He yipped a giggle, saying “Good for her. Gotta get out of here before any wolf else tries to bother her and River.” He then shook his head, and turned back to the she pups. He said “A…ghost?” and tilted his head, wondering where Kizo had heard that from. Shaking his head, he grabbed a rabbit and pulled it out. Saying “This looks like a good enough rabbit.”

Starlight

The pretty but still handsome male blinked his blue and brown eyes. He yawned a bit, and flicked his tail back and forth. He then wagged his tail a bit, as the warrior noticed him. He tilted his own head, as if in imitation of the other since Goliath had tilted his head. He twitched his ears a couple times. He then sniffed the air a bit.

Before straightening up and looking at the much bigger male. Not that Yuui was tiny or anything, considering he was already nine months old. He was only three months away from a year old. Pushing that thought away, he said “Scythe told me to come see you.”

The black phase one flicked their white tipped tail back and forth. Ears twitched and perked as he looked at them. They watched as the other wolves approached the correct elk. The elk luckily hadn’t noticed any of the hunting wolves that approached. Then Kiyu was at its one side, attacking it. It began to try and run away, so Kuroyuki barked at the others, if they hadn’t gotten in there yet. He then ran towards the fleeing animal. He kept a bit to the side, since being directly behind could result in a kick

Miracle- f- 1 y 3 mo- healer- crush: Yomi- Tags: Scythe, Yuui

The golden-cream slender and slightly smaller female shook her head. Feeling another cough coming on, and pawing at her muzzle. This of course wouldn’t stop her from coughing. Which she did indeed, a cough made its way out of her and she sighed. She smiled a canine smile when Yuui spoke to her. She said “Thank you,” to him, then watched him turn away. She turned back to Scythe, looking at the older she wolf. Saying “Well…let’s go get those bird eggs, and or fish,” and flicking her tail.

STARLIGHT PACK

SCYTHE
Female healer - crush/ mate are open - tags: Miracle

She lightly rolled her eyes a bit at the apprentice's words, not saying anything about it though. Her eyes wandered to other packmats a bit as she made her way out of the camp. She hoped that nothing would be done at the moment she was gone, but could there really be anything bad after the horrible events they had a few months ago? She flicked her ears a bit as she listened to the voices around them just in case, the river she was being mentioned was not far, but still enough for anything to go wrong. She also looked up to the trees for possible bird nests, but getting them down without breaking them could be almost impossible so she decided to focus on finding some birds who make their nests to the ground instead of trees. She didn't see anything which didn't surprise her that much, but they were on the river now "We're here...as a former hunter you could know how to fish, so I don't need to teach you, or do I?" she asked her.

KUROI
female fighter - crush is Kiyu - tags: Kiyu, hunters

She stayed in the woods, keeping her distance from the hunters, but still enough to see anything that was happening and anything going around them. Her ears perked up as she looked at some crows screaming and flying over some trees there, likely excited about the hunt going on. She knows that any prey the wolves catch, the leftovers go to crows and other smaller animals.

YOMI

She followed the other young hunter, not wanting to do anything reckless that could ruin the hunt as she was not really a hunter yet, just a trainee. She let the Kiyu make the first move and when she did she followed after her, striking the elk's flank, which was rather risky as the elk could kick her, but she managed to somehow avoid them. She didn't really look around her at all just focused to keep herself at the flank even if the elk was moving around rapidly.

ERMIN
male hunter - crush/mate is Kuroyuki/open - tags: Yomi, Kuroyuki, hunters

He looked in the distance for a moment when the Kiyu and Yomi struck the elk, Kuroyuki was behind it, so he decided to try to the front. He ran past the fighting elk, jumping to its face, trying to forcibly move its head to the other side so it could fall over to its free side. He tried to avoid the kicks from the front legs, as his eyes looked at Kuroyuki, to try to him to finish the hunt as the elk's throat was fully open for the last hit.

REDMOON PACK

CASTOR

He gave them all a nod with a small smile "Thank you, I knew I could count on you" he said as he left the camp, his tail high as he looked at the woods for a bit, scenting the air he decided to make the path which took another way where Gauge and River where gone at. He usually didn't go the same way with the other patrols as crossing with them could harm the hunt. He made his way to the tighter woods to the north, where he could find some deer, elks, or wild boars roaming around even big birds like pheasant and Grouse. He stopped near some trees there to look and sniff around, and that's when he saw some movements near some bushes and eventually saw a young male deer. It seemed to be alone, either chased away by its herd or left behind for some reason. He lifted his tail to signal the other about the deer, flicking his tail to tell them to go left and right side of the deer one could try to go to the other side, so it would not have a place to escape.

LABRADOR

He gave Kane a shy nod and then smiled at his brother "Of course, you can count on us" he said to him then followed him to the woods. His ears moved for any sounds as he sniffed the wind blowing toward them. He stayed silent as he didn't want to mess up the hunt by talking too loud, he stopped when the lead hunter stopped near the trees and carefully walked closer to see what he saw there. Seeing the lonely deer he walked to Koll and Kane, after seeing the signals of Castor "Koll take the left side, Kane take the front side and I take the right side okay?" he whispered to them.

KIZO

She looked at Azure "Azure, why is it bothering you so much about the lead hunter going to speak with Gauge and River?" she asked him. She looked at Kioku "Yeah, I was wondering that too, I guess the pack knows then as they're taking them in without questioning" she said with wonder.

KIOKU

She looked at them as she ate "I agree, Do bother things like that" She said taking another bite and swallowed it. Shaking her head a bit "Anyway, do any of you want to discuss the strangers inside the camp?" she said noticing the weird adult male wolf and the pup there.

HYUUGA
male loner (Redmoon) - crush is Ghost (maybe) - tags: Willow, Gauge, River, Akiro

He kept walking forward toward the woos which somehow felt familiar, but the smells there were not the same, how could they be after a massive avalanche that changed the lands around them? He took his nose up to the upcoming wind and perked his ears up as he likely got a scent that reminded him of someone, yes, it was the smell of Gauge, the other was likely River, but he was not so sure as he was never being that close with the young hunter, Gauge instead was one of the fellow fighters, he worked along with. He speeded his steps toward the smell, getting a smell of Akiro as well, and maybe he even heard his voice there. He felt happy, but the closer he got the more nervous he got, when he was close enough to see them, he stopped to wonder, what if they don't remember him, maybe they don't want him here. He stood there for a moment but perked his ears when his new friend walked past him toward the trio.

WILLOW

The small female silently followed the injured black wolf, smelling the air just to make sure there was nothing to worry about, but she also trusted that the older wolf knew what he was doing. She also smelled the unfamiliar scent of three wolves, two females, and one male, and noticed the exciting look in Hyuuga's eyes as they got closer. When the male suddenly stopped, she stopped behind him to study him a bit seeing the nervousness, so she decided to take the first move to approve the trio. The move was risky to her as she was not familiar with either of them "Hello there...Are you from Redmoon pack?" she called out with a gentle voice, walking calmly toward them, without showing any aggression.

Kane

He quickly followed after Castor as he lead them deep into hunting grounds. Nothing that they were heading north, Kane could tell that Castor was determined to bring home a large meal for the pack. He stopped abruptly as he saw Castor’s tail signal, crouching down low. He turned his head to Labrador, quickly acknowledging he suggestion and quietly sneaking ahead past Castor but making shire to not emerge from the bushes. He waited for the signal to engage.

Koll
Redmoon Hunter | Crush: Uncertain | Tags: Labrador, Castor, Kane

His eyes darted up to the lead hunter as he praised them, giving him a shy, curt nod. He filled with group, also crouching down low like his brother. It was almost identical their movements. He nodded to Labrador and shuffled over to the left side of the bushes. From this angle he couldn’t get the best view of deer as it wasn’t travelling in his direction. He accepted this as he wouldn’t let this deer escape back the way it came. He waited also for the signal.

“Scythe?” He asked then raised an eyebrow before letting out a huff of amusement.
“Getting in the way again, huh?” He asked with a teasing manner, as he rose to his paws.
“I don’t have much on my paws at the moment, Yuui, shall we have a walk around? Head to the warrior training area?” He suggested.

I think…He was there when me and my birth mama came back to that pack. I guess my grandpa lived in this pack? Then betrayed this pack and went to Starlight. I don’t know if my mama was born in Starlight or not.” He shook his head a bit, he just remembered being loners then going to Starlight…then he’d run away and ended up here.

Even though Yomi is only a month older and gets to go out…” Shaking his head, he perked up. Nodding and saying “Yeah,” and following him.

The black phase one flicked their white tipped tail back and forth. Ears twitched and perked as he watched the others get the elk. He ran for the back, but then noticed Ermin at the front. They noticed an opening there, the elk’s throat was open. They ran over and grabbed the elk there. Holding the creature until it stopped struggling.

The golden-cream slender and slightly smaller female nodded. She said “I don’t think I’m very good at it…but I know how to fish.” She looked at the other she wolf a moment. Then stepped into the water and watched some curious fish swim up. These ones didn’t actually seemed scared. She watched the fish, then quickly dunked her head into the water to grab at one. She almost got the fish, but the slippery thing got away. She sighed and lifted her head…sneezing and coughing again.

Destiny's tail wagged at Cypher's answer. She could see him becoming a healer, with his kind nature she was seeing- he would of been excellent. She nodded along with his explanation. 'I could of seen you being a wonderful healer. " she commented before following up with "However, I agree - You're a natural leader. And it shows" Destiny affirmed. She appreciated him opening up to her and wanted to provide a positive feedback. It was all true- Cypher was an excellent leader. His way of speaking to his peers and having a sense of command to him. Destiny couldn't help but giggle at his own personal critiques about why he could never be a healer.

Flicking her ears she listened to his next question carefully. If she hadn't become Alpha, she would of reverted back to being a hunter. She found a natural skill in it and enjoyed the hunt as Cypher had mentioned. She tilted her head thinking about his question. What the pack didn't know? Destiny did her best to be an open book. Growing up in the pack she was a trouble maker, always running off to explore and finding new ways to put herself into challenging situations. " I am mostly an open book -- however, when I used to explore the pack boundaries I had stumbled across the pack lines. Oh my gosh it caused so many issues and if anyone asks I will STILL deny that I made it all the way across unnoticed" she said almost laughing at this point.

Risen exhaled softly hearing Rhea explain his biggest worry wasn't one too dire. It was nice she understood where he was coming from, and better to know that things wouldn't be as scary as he assumed. She was very wise, and he appreciated her feedback as well as her honesty. He offered another tail wag, showing added comfort with her. His shoulders rising in almost a laugh when she mentioned communication being hard when he can't say as much as he would like.

He carefully watched as Rhea turned upside down, amused at the Omega and appreciative as she made hard conversations not so scary. He laid down in front of her slowly, showing his commitment to their conversation - mainly one vocal conversation but none of the less, his first real time in ages having someone he could kind of communicate with. Flicking an ear at her question, Risen took a deep breath. He shook his head as a no. It hadn't always been this way, he used to be a decent speaker. He actually never stopped talking. Until he was the reason his parents were killed, shaking his head to rid the memory. Risen shamefully looked at his paws. " No- not always." he choked out flattening his ears against his head. "My P-Parents. I-it was M-My Fault" he pieced together.

Blaze lifted his head as Ghost entered the den. He dipped his head knowing that Nova probably sent him to watch over Dante. He figured that was the best decision- especially with the past Dante and Blaze had with one another. Last thing the pack needed was for the two to resume their border scuffle. Backing out of the den to provide more room, Blaze turned his attention towards the direction of his Luna. Already knowing that he would need to speak with her about the day's findings.

Exiting the Den he looked at Akrio and flicked his tail, "If you'd like, you can try and find Gauge and River and take over for River you can. If not, feel free to get a meal. I appreciate your assistance today" he spoke before turning and padding towards Nova. "Luna, I assume we need to speak later?"

River followed closely behind, her sharp amber eyes scanning the surroundings as they moved away from camp. The mention of the Starlight wolves piqued her interest. She understood the weight of the situation; their pack had already lost too many, and the tension was high with so few left to defend their borders. River let out a soft sigh, not wanting to show too much concern, but the mention of Eros made her question her own reality. Didn’t he pass in the avalanche? She wondered.

“Right,” River murmured, her voice holding a hint of concern. She padded forward a few steps, picking up faint scents in the air. “The scent’s familiar, but it’s too faint. Could be old. We don’t know how long it’s been since he’s been near here.” She paused, turning to look at the black she-wolf. “But it’s good we’re here. Blaze won’t have to worry about us, at least.” she filled her ears at the sound of approaching paws. Turning to lay her gaze on Akiro, River dipped her head in a greeting.

The duo had made a good stretch back to the healer's den. However, before their arrival they were greeted by Narae. Nova observed as the young wolf approached Eros with static energy. The pack had many pieces missing, but she was thankful that they were able to recover who they could. Her tail waved a few times, not quite the speed of Narae's. Her gaze softened, pleased to see that Eros was. welcomed back so easily.

Her ears perked at the overspill of questions and concerns that spout from Eros' friend. It pooled a warming feeling in her heart. "Narae ." the Luna called ever so gently with a dip of her maw for a greeting. She cleared her throat in attempt to catch the pups' attention. It failed as Narae's only focus was on Eros. Nova could not blame her, as she felt the same. "Why don't you two catch up in the healer's den. Eros needs to get looked over." she repeated herself.

A second set of paws crunched snow nearby as they approached the now trio. Nova took a quick breath and panned over to see Blaze waltzing in her direction. After his question, her head tilted. "Since when does my best friend call me Luna?" she questioned teasingly. Although she knew Blaze only did it out of respect for her rank. "I am still Nova." she added. She realized that she hadn't answered his question and truthfully she wasn't entirely sure why they would have to wait - until she glanced back at Eros and Narae. Then returned her oak eyed gaze to Blaze, " Certainly not. Narae and Eros are going to Koa for check up." she shared with him. "If you aren't busy we could speak now." she spoke in a questioning manner.

After the force of the hunters finally brung down the elk, Kiyu jumped off just as it landed in the snow. In it's fall, the loose snow fluffed back into the sky and slowly trickled to the ground again. She retreated a few steps , awaiting for Kuroyuki to serve them with the plans. A few moments had gone by and Kiyu figured she would speak up, "Are we hunting another or taking this home?" she asked loud enough for the other to hear. She figured they could take the elk to camp, but she also wanted to keep hunting in case they could gather more food for the pack.

She twitched her ears, and her nose moved a bit as she smelled the air. She shook her head as she looked at River. She was about to say something, when Akiro instead spoke up. She nodded to the male wolf, and said “I thought I saw them on the way by. Wasn’t sure though, I only saw them from behind. Well…I saw Dante from behind, but Eros was with Nova it looked like.”

She then turned her attention back to River, and nodded at her. She said “He wouldn’t worry about us anyway, unless you meant because we’ve lost fighters…We’re fine out here though, there’s no Starlight wolves. Other than Dante now being in our camp…” She then turned her head to stare at a black wolf…Something was familiar about him, and she continued to stare. She then called “Hyuuga?!” as it finally clicked. Before turning her attention to the yearling she wolf that seemed to be with him.

We found them just a bit ago, they’re back at the camp now. I don’t know how Dante got all the way over here…but he was with Eros. They’re both okay, though Dante seemed pretty weak.” They may be enemies but he didn’t want to mean to Dante. The other wolf had been injured, after all. He then smelled more scents approaching the small group of them…He turned his attention to see two wolves. One was a black wolf, but had stopped a bit too far away. He blinked and stared at the wolf…then heard Gauge say something and looked towards her.

He then turned his attention to the smaller wolf that was following the other wolf. This one was definitely a she wolf. He could tell that much, and he watched as she walked right up to them. She didn’t look familiar…but now he knew the other wolf was Hyuuga. He looked to Hyuuga, then back to the unknown she wolf. He tilted his head as he just studied her a moment. He said “Yes, hello…who are you? Are you a friend of Hyuuga’s?” he asked, and glanced towards where the black wolf was, again.

When Nova teased him about calling her Luna, he let out a low chuckle, "Guess I’ve got a habit of showing respect where it's due," Blaze replied, his deep voice carrying warmth beneath the formality. "But you’re right, You’ll always be Nova to me." he replied with a hint of fondness in his voice.

Even if there were females she could likely let them be as the males are too noisy birds could warm the whole forest of them being here, so she decided to see if there could be any snow grouse or partridge around.

She stayed there and just watched the hunter going after the prey, catching it easily, making her wonder how important the hunters were to the packs, without them the pack could starve, and then she started to think of her rank. Fi fighters were only needed when something happened or went wrong, other than those they were only freeloaders who slept and ate the prey the hunters caught with hard work. She shook her head a bit at her thoughts and looked back to the others. She started to walk over to the others "Are you taking the prey back now, If not I can always guard it" she said to them. Flicking her tail a bit she scanned them "I can also help you to carry it back to the camp if that's what's you doing?" she offered.

She let go of the prey when the elk was not moving anymore, and its smell changed a bit, it sure was weird how the smell could tell if the other had passed away or not. She listened to the others and looked at her sister coming to ask some questions "I could maybe hunt later that one was tiring...and if we do have that another, we could have enough meat for the pack for a long time" she said.

He waited a bit to make sure all of the hunters were in their positions and anything could not scare or mess up the hunt of that deer. He was sure the deer was not injured, he was likely just lost or chased out by its herd, and he really didn't care about the reason why was the deer there. He was just happy that the deer were there, as now they could not need to try to find more of them if this hunt success. He gave one last look for the other hunters when he thought they could be in their rightful positions he made his signal and started the hunt for that single deer.

He stayed hidden there, not moving a muscle as he looked around for the lead hunter and the positions of the others, the deer seemed still very unaware of them which was good as it could give them the first strike to the prey. He licked his lips a bit, of the overcoming excitation of the upcoming hunt, patiently waiting for the signal. His ears perked up when the red wolf made the signal and the hunt was now started. Without second thoughts he started to run toward the now scared deer to its right side, seeing the confusion in the young deer's eyes as he tried to figure out the situation. That could be the downfall of the deer as he didn't run away and the body was open for an attack, he jumped to its back biting its shoulder.

He stepped forward now studied the others seeing the look Akiro gave to Willow "Yes it's me...it's nice to see you all are safe and fine" he said to them, turning to Akiro "Hmm, Actually she is the reason I am still alive" he responded to the fighter.
