He nodded in a bit of understanding. His twitched his ears, to swat away the annoying insects that would linger. He could feel the morning sun beating down on his merle grey pelt. He moved around a bit, the sun making him feel a bit itchy. The male used his back paw to scratch at his back ear. He took a feel shots breaths before he began to speak again. "I haven't been to the city in a while. Ever since that one day changed my life forever." he spoke, his tone low. He could fell his eyes start to well up with tears, he whipped his head away from Darkfall, not wanting her to see him in emotion. After some time he turned back, "T-the day my mom got hit by a car and my brother and sister got snatched up by humans.." he stammered. He sighed dropping his head along with his ears, watch the tiny ants scurry along it the crystal colored grass, avoiding contact with the fae that sat before him.

His tail wagged slightly as he peered out of the window of his apartment. He wanted to go out and explore, try to make some new friends, but he knew his owners wouldn't allow it. Ben jumped back from the window and walked out of his room, making his way to his owners room. Ben walked into the room, his paw steps light. A smile ran across his face to see them still asleep for the morning. He quietly walked out and made his way to the door. He pawed at the dog door, which wasn't locked for some odd reason. He squeezed the the dog door and into the hall way. *Small time skip* He walked the streets, his paw steps a bit heavy. He looked around, thinking about where his stop would be. He made his way to the dog park. He looked around not seeing anyone, but a few dogs. He yawned a sat down.

Darkfall tilts her head as she listens to him and she touches the side of his muzzle with her nose for a few seconds and sighs as she moves back. "It's alright.... you at least got to know your family..... I never got to know my family at all... let alone know if they are alive or not" her tail wraps around to the front of her paws as she looks up at the sky for a moment. "You should be glad that your alive to talk about them...."

renegade stood up, her eyes scanning the border collie. she was silent, but observed her she managed scent her out, she was a stray, but that didn't matter. It was any dog, she had no trust for anything or anyone, though she answered without a growl. "id rather you not.." her tail flicked. renegade looked around at the other dogs, and thought 'there are alot of strays out today.. and alot of us owned dogs..' she looked around her ears pinned back her tail waging lowly. she returned her attention to the border collie, "why is everyone out here today, its winter.." she had hoped for piece and quiet but got the exact opposite. that four letter word.. hope it often came an went with renegade, for she could hardly trust herself.

Lily's gaze remained mostly unchanged as the dog in front of her denied her request to go clean up. Her ear twitched slightly, but other than that there were no indications that Lily was at all fazed by the fae's answer. She sat down, looking around at the other dogs with a smirk plastered on her face. "Observant," Lily said with a touch of amusement. "I hadn't really cared to think about that before." Lily's eyes trained the dog closely; her eyes were trained on the blood painted on her neck, and it was all Lily could do to keep from bringing it up. "If you don't mind me asking though... how'd that lovely red color end up on your chest?" Lily winced, ready for some sort of upheaval to take place due to her question.

Orion walked the cold streets of the inner city, stopping occasionally when a chance of a meal came by. He had already stolen pieces of food from a small child's hands, which obviously ended with other larger humans shouting all around him as he ran away to eat the small meal. As he walked he noticed a large fence, the dog park, he had never once been in there. Always seeing the place as an area for the ignorant pampered dogs, owned by humans. But this time, he decided to venture in.
On entering the dog park, he instantly noticed it was very quiet. There were not many humans, nor dogs, inside the fenced off area. One, however, caught his attention instantly. A large white ans brown dog, its scent unfamilar to him, it was obviously another pack dog. He let out a low growl just at the sight of the dog. Orion walked further into the park, making his way to this large sog. Letting out a loud and low bark at her, making sure he was noticed. Orion kept his ears forwards, focused on the dog. His hackles raised, tail stuck upright. He wanted this dog to know not to start trouble, for he had known other packs to do si.

Her shoulder accidentally brushed against his while walking. As it did, Compass quickly pulled her shoulder back and moved away from him. She continued to walk, but now there was quite a bit of distance between the two. Compass didn't want to embarrass herself or even make him uncomfortable. "Oh, me? I've just been taking care of my kids." The Collie answered, and by her kids she meant her owner's children. She began to think about her family with a soft smile on her face, but her mind quickly changed to her old owner who died. Compass remembered how shocked she felt when her owner died. After the man had died, she was so upset almost to the point were it made her feel sick. Her tail dropped and so did her head. She stayed silent and looked distraught.

Zeak felt the soft fur of Compass's shoulder and didn't move away. Zeak felt comfterble around Compass and trusted her. "That's adorable." Zeak knew Compass was talking about the twoleg children, because about how she talks about them sometimes. Zeak saw Compass looking sad and decided to chair her up. "Race you to the park?" He challenged. "I'll give you a head start?" Zeak realised that it would be almost impossible for Compass to win because Zeak was a police dog, so he made an offer that made it easer for Compass.

She noted that her throat and mouth had become extremely dry. Compass swallowed hard, turning her head away from Zeak in poor attempts to hide her sadness. She did however, lift her head when he challenged the female to a race. Compass was about to turn down his offer when he added the tempting offer of a head start. "Why should you?" She asked curiously, but decided to take the offer before he could have the chance to take it back. Compass came to a full stop. "Sure... count me down" Compass barked, crouching slightly and getting in a position to dart off as soon as he told her to. She glanced to the German Shepherd with a challenging look in her eyes. Smirking, she turned her neck and looked straight ahead, just itching to finally win a race against her friend.
