Sheik watched Luhua and the cub, sympathy in his eyes. Maybe they should have done that sooner, so Luhua had more time...He nuzzled Luhua's cheek, tying to calm her. He knew it must have been painful though, and he continued to nuzzle her cheek with a cold nose.

(Might make yet another leopard to make up for those that have no one to rp with o.e)

P e r s o n a l i t y: Zara is an independant, strong, and determined male who prefers to stay alone. He shows coldness to others, but if you get past his tough outer walls, he is a very loyal, and kind friend, and an excellent mate. He is good at hunting and fighting, but lacks in actually blending in, or ambush. Despite his skills, he'd rather charge out without stalking, but his speed makes up for it.
P a s t L i f e: As far as anyone could tell, Zara was a normal leopard. But, he had a deep scar around his neck, in the shape of chains. Truth is, he was born in an illegal exotic animals shop. As a older cub, he was sold to animal abusers, who starved him, beat him, and chained him to a wall. They never adjusted the chain, and it began to be grown over, from him getting larger. One day, he was saved. The chain was cut from his neck, but he escaped, running off and having to teach himself how to survive.

Zara walked out in the icy cold, sniffing the air every few moments. He flicked his ears, his blue-green eyes scanning the area. As far as he could tell, he was the only leopard in the area. With a growl, he itched his neck, forgetting the scar. He let out a hiss in pain, clawing the soft scars. He flicked his tail, pinning his ears, and continued to walk, head low.

[bonjour.]

Luhua pushed the cub away with her paw, pain reaching it's climax. "I'm sorry little one, you can have some milk tommorow, right now there is none." she muttered, licking the tiny rounded ear of the cub. Feeling bad, she sighed, turning her head to look at Sheik, pushing her nose into his neck. "I failed." she muttered.
