~Kaye~
Kaye shot the alpha a dirty glare but headed to the far right, where she brooded over stormy anger while waiting for Faelon to give the signal to attack. She needed to rip, to maim, to kill something...Digging her claws into the ground, she scented the air. Hopefully, the elk meat would be moist somewhat, not dry from the lack of water in their territory.

~Reverie~
Reverie took up a position that didn't seem to have enough wolves and curled her tail, trying to catch the scent of elk. It was faint, but...there was a definite smell.

~Sonata~
Sonata cheerfully tackled him with an excited yip, biting with her tiny puppy teeth, paws flailing wildly. It wasn't enough to hurt anything, but it was fun, anyway.

Faelon smelled a herd to the North and signaled "To the North."
Pickles got up and jumped onto Sonata's back and yipped then bit her tail with his little teeth.It made his teeth tickle a little bit.

~Kaye~
Kaye followed the scent of the elk, focusing on nothing but the hunt, determined to prove herself much better than that miserable excuse for a wolf, Shadow. However, it was still quite warm out, and it was hard to keep her position running near the front of the pack.

~Reverie~
Reverie glanced with concern at the looming clouds on the horizon, and sprinted to Faelon's side, silently gesturing with her ears at the mushroom-shaped clouds building. Whatever it was, it would probably hit Druid Peak first.

~Sonata~
Sonata shrieked with excitement and flipped over onto her back, "crushing" Pickles, then leaping up and tackling him again. She looked quickly at the omegas; they didn't know how to have any fun, did they? They just wanted to sit around and chat all day. And sleep, in the case of the female omega of whose name she didn't know.
She hoped her mother would bring back tasty meat for them to eat. The pups had only just started switching from milk to regurgitated food, and Sonata was proud of her "accomplishment".

Ah...I wonder what the clouds could mean for the weather?))

She whimpered, thudding her head on the ground. "Lemme sleep..."she mumbled, her voice full of pain.
~*Shadow*~
He did a 'yipe' like a yelp, as Kaye kicked dirt in his eyes. Annoyed, he followed Faelon, getting into his position.

~Sirius~
Sirius curled his tail over his paws, trying not to think about the last time he'd seen a wolf so sick, and what had happened. He hadn't thought of the event for a while now, but to remember it brought back painful memories. But Sirius knew what he had done wrong, what he hadn't done, the first time, and he trotted off to find water.

The water in the creek was certainly not in drinking condition, and he didn't want to make Kanna more sick. Perhaps the clouds on the horizon signified rain coming; if she could last for just a few more hours, maybe there would be water. Sirius hurried back and pulled her gently back into the shade, which seemed empty now since the rest of the pack was gone. Then he lay next to her and watched for rain, and the rest of the pack.

~*Kanna*~
She found her eye-lids closing, but she wouldn't sleep. She felt so sick that if she close her eyes for one second, she'd be lost forever in darkness. Whimpering, she pawed at her muzzle, her throat dry.
Water...she wanted water.
She scented a river, and tried to inch towards where she thought where it might be. But she flopped on the ground and decided to give up, letting her eyes slowly close...
She was plummeted in an odd swirl of dreams...mostly of rain dancing around her.

Shear got up at the smell of elk, and sretched. she sniffed the cool air, looking to the sky at the clouds. she shivered, and trotted to find the sorce of the yummy smell. "god, i hope there's a sick calf. i cant take down a grown cow or buck." shear thought to herself, looking around.

~Sirius~
Sirius woke to being prodded by a paw. Annoyed, he shook it off, then opened his eyes quickly. Kanna! Was she ... was she... breathing? Desperately Sirius looked around for a closer source of water, but saw none. It would be too much to drag her over to the brackish water of the creek. Sniffing the air frantically, Sirius ran in consecutively wider circles around the tree, and yelped as the scent of water hit his nose. Dashing towards the scent, Sirius was dismayed to find that it was the creek. He must've come farther from the tree that he'd thought. But wait- there was a small trickle of water leading away from the creek.
Sirius followed the water, until he could see the tree again. This would have to do. Grunting with the effort, he pulled Kanna towards the water, sun beating down on his back. "Drink!" he yelped, putting Kanna's nose in the full course of the water.
When she didn't respond, Sirius tried to pry open her dry mouth, but it was no use. Sighing, he drank some of the water, so as to keep himself from helping Kanna, and tried again to wake her up.
"Kanna? Kanna! Can you hear me?"

((It's hard to envision the sun now XD It's been raining all day. Hope it's not like this tomorrow when I start school...It will be no fun walking down to the high school in the rain...))
