Lewry let out a calm sigh as he replied, "Boy, do I know it. Humiliation sure can make or break you. I've generally been lucky enough to avoid any of my mistakes falling into the latter category."
He nodded along as the gamma continued with her advice. He gave her a sympathetic nod as she spoke about her mistakes. He started to ponder his past as she did so. He was not the most secretive wolf out there, but there were a few aspects of his past he'd much rather leave in the past. He then spoke up again, "You are not wrong, I certainly have plenty of past mistakes I'd much rather leave in the past. i believe most of us have plenty of embarrassing moments. I, personally, could never seem to make a friend after I joined this pack. Sure, that in itself is not all that embarrassing, but the same cannot be said for my social skills."
He then listened to what she had to say next before responding, "You were certainly lucky to have found someone like him. Although i do not doubt that there may be someone out there for me, it is hard to tell. I am simply not the romantic type right now. I'd much rather focus my time hunting."
He was confused at first to see her go, but he then shrugged and kindly wished her good day before going back to looking around for someone to possibly hunt with.

Keltio scoffed underneath her breath and gave a slight eye-roll as she glanced at the omega and replied, "Oh calm down, it's called an intimidation tactic."
She decided not to say anything more as she turned back to the loners. She nodded to Kayla and was about to answer her question before Coon spoke up. She glanced over at him and shrugged before speaking up, "Well, that is not an issue with me. I know of a stream just west of here that runs outside this pack's territory."

Quelie

Quelie tilted his head at her request. He paused for a moment and glanced at her, not realizing what he wast doing. Fortunately he was able to snap out of this trance and reply, "Why of course, I would be honored to go for a stroll with you. It is a lovely day after all. No use in wasting it."

Quelie made his way back up to stand on all fours. He glanced ver at her and saw that she was looking over at the gamma's den. He took his chance to quickly stretch himself out, so she wouldn't notice him. Once he was finished he stood there, waiting patiently for her to look back.

The fae smiled at his response and flicked an ear towards the male. “Perfect. Let’s get going shall we? It’ll feel good to stretch my legs for a while.” she said. Aria stretched out her legs and wagged her tail. She was glad that the male accepted to join her on a stroll, since she always enjoyed his company.


Brushing her shoulder against his, the white wolf began heading in one direction. Where to, she didn’t know but she was sure they would figure it out as they went along. It didn’t matter to her where they went as long as she was with the male.

The old wolf laughed at her friend and watched her stumble. “Be careful, I know your eyesight isn’t how it used to be since we are old ladies.” she spoke, flicking an ear at her friend. When Aspen brought up the thought of the old times, Rerina sighed softly and nodded her head.

The good old fun times. She couldn't remember a time where the two weren’t always out together doing who knows what. Sometimes they would talk about each other’s mates, wanting to get a little breather from them or whatever else they thought of discussing.

Kayla dipped her head slightly to Keltio, “We would greatly appreciate that. We don’t intend to stay long, maybe just one night to rest and then we will continue our wandering.” She gave Coon a warning look, he was so childish sometimes. “If you don’t mind leading the way, we would gladly follow.” She also take another glance at Copper who seemed to be upset by Keltio for very little reason, “Don’t mind Coon, he’s dramatic just like his father,” which was true. In fact it was a solid part of the reason they had left their home and simply become wanderers.

Coon huffed and rolled his eyes, he was certain they didn’t need any help, especially not from this fae and omega. He received Kaylas warning look and decided not to push it. He took a step forward, aligning himself beside Kayla and then sat with a light thud and flicked his tail. He remained silent but shifted his glare to Keltio, his eyes scanning her from head to toe.

Aspen growled playfully and gently whopped Rerena's leg with her tail "Us? Old? What are you even saying?" she let out a smothered laugh and stooped under a branch. "Impossible!" She turned to go down another path as Rerena followed. She lifted her muzzle in an attempt to catch even the slightest whiff. Aspen sighed inwardly; her smell certainly wasn't as good as it used to be. However, she did pick up the scent of an animal and changed cause slightly, interested in what she may have found.

Octavia glanced at the warrior when he didn’t answer and let out a slight chuckle. “I’m guessing that’s a no? You haven’t eaten yet have you? I brought back plenty of prey for you” she offered to him. Her paws rolled around a pebble mindlessly, humming to herself as she went.

The old she wolf laughed at her old friend and swatted her back with her tail. “Ha well we must be some young wolves then huh? Like the good times? Think you still got it in ya old friend?” she asked, tilting her head slightly and then saw her friend change directions. At first she was a bit confused as to why, but then shortly realized what it was.


The scent hit her in the face and she licked her lips at the smell. It was an interesting smell and though her nose wasn’t as great as it once was, she could still pick up some scents. Rerina followed after her friend, lowering her head to sniff the ground.

Aspen flicked her ear and smiled at Rerena. "Oh, I most certainly do! I think." She snorted and trotted a bit faster as the scent began to grow stronger; clearer. Rabbit? or doe? No... "Pheasant!" Aspen exclaimed, her tail wagging. She had missed chasing those troublesome birds. They always ran in circles and tried to climb up trees. Not the smartest of all species. She huffed and narrowed her eyes as they came a bit closer to the bird, where it was visible. For most wolves. Aspen had trouble figuring out what it was, since all she saw were fairly blurry splotches of color. "Eh, Rerena?" she started to whisper, then forgot her friend's hearing wasn't in best shape. However, her eyes were. "Rerena?" she asked a bit louder, leaning close to her ear. "That's a pheasant, right? Can't tell 'thanks to me eyes."

Rerina sniffed the air again and the scent of the pheasant drifted to her nose. She heard Aspen speak in her ear, which caused her to jump a little. “I may be hard of hearing but I’m not that deaf yet.” she barked, but looked over to see what her friend was looking at. It was definitely indeed a pheasant, a couple of them at least.


“Yes there are two pheasants. One for me and one for you. Do I need to catch them myself?” she asked, concerned about how her friend would be able to hunt for the pheasants. If she wanted to try on her own then Rerina wouldn’t stop her at all.

"We all got feelings, hon," Keltio whispered back. She then turned to the loners and gave them an understanding nod as she said, "I understand that. It is always good to find a place to rest every once in a while. And yes, I can lead you to the stream if you'd like, I'm sure there's some good areas to make a den out of over there."
She ignored Coon's glare and glanced over at the omega before replying, "Oh, right, I almost forgot about that."

Quelie felt his tail start to wag as he replied, "Alrighty then, I do not see a reason to wait. And, I agree, it is always nice to get out and stretch your legs. I know a few warriors who love to do so in the morning."
It was a little strange to Quelie that she would even bother to suggest such an activity with an average hunter such as himself, but nonetheless, he saw absolutely no reason to refuse it. He felt her shoulder brush up against his, which caused a wave of heat to wash over his face. He tried to act as if nothing had happened as he followed the white wolf. He was not entirely sure where she was going, but for the time being, he did not really mind it anyways.

Aspen wagged her tail and blinked, a way of saying 'I'm sorry.' She squinted back out at the squabbling birds, and one seemed to have its head stuck in the ground. Or a bush. Hard to tell. She inhaled the scent, and felt a tingle run through her paws. A few memories lingered at the back of her mind: Wind, streaming through her tail as she led a pack of wolves in chase of an elk. Howls, in the forest as the Pack hunters thanked the moon for their fresh kill on the night of the Beta's Appointment. Thunder, the rumble shaking the earth and sky alike as the rain began to fall. She shook out her scruffy head, as if clearing the memories. She enjoyed them, and liked to remember, but she needed to focus. The Gamma smiled at her friend, and nuzzled her shoulder, happy that her friend was worried about her. "Oh, dear, don't worry. I think I'd like to taste some fresh bird blood on my tongue again!" Aspen tilted her head at the confused birds. "How will we do this? Any ideas? I only have one, but I'd like to hear yours."
