Chemical-Omega-Dark Moon
The omega walked down to Black lake. Hoping not to be seen. She grabbed Kaworu aside to talk to him before the fight.
"Who are you cheering on?" Chemical whispered.
"Actually, im hoping you lose. As much as i love you-" Kaworu stopped realizing what he just said. He turned around and ran way from the competing omega.

The she wolf shook out her tan and black coat. She turned brown eyes to the entrance of the den she slept in. She thought on what Dragon has said, and growled a bit...She growled to herself, of course, considering Anubis was probably still in the den and sleeping.

The pretty and small wolf shook his head a couple times. The slender black wolf flicked his tail back and forth a couple times. Blue and brown eyes glanced about the camp then. He yawned again, and sighed a little bit as he shook his head. He knew he should go hunt, probably. He was supposed to go with another wolf, or a group, though right?

The black young one blinked blue eyes as he sat and yawned. He twitched his ears and flicked his tail a little bit. He realized they might all be expected to come watch the fight. Though he knew some might not care.. He was thinking of Demeter, yes, and maybe that she wolf talking to her. He shook his head, running to catch up then walk a few feet behind Soren and Rav.

The blue eyed pup twitched a black nose and ears as she shook off. She licked her gray, tan and white fur back into place. She then nodded to her trainer, and smiled. “I am, and looks like Crow is too, and I know we might have to heal...I know our alphas aren’t exactly that young. They could pull something by accident,” was an example she gave. She shook her head as she said “She doesn’t deserve to be alpha...”

The brown eyed tan she wolf smiled as she nodded to Reverie. “Probably what they’re supposed to be doing. Well, at least that’s what the alphas are probably hoping for. Anyway! Id love to go for a walk with you,” she told the other she wolf.

\\\\\\Seeing that Ravenna’s brother, Crow, was following a few paces behind them, Soren nodded a greeting to the small black trainee. He would’ve offered a verbal greeting normally, as that was always the polite thing to do, but his mouth was full of herbs in preparation for the upcoming fight and anything he said would’ve just come out as a jumbled mess. He was sure Crow would understand. As he led the way for the trainees to the lake where the challenge was to take place, he shook his fur out against the rainy cold and his eyes squinted against the fog. Great. It was as if the weather knew that this was the one day of the month that challenges were to occur and just decided to play a practical joke on all of them.

\\\\\\Slowing to a halt as the lake came into view, Soren was surprised to see that hardly anyone had arrived thus far, given that attendance was generally considered to be mandatory. He could see that Beowulf and beta male were already there, as was the expecting Opall (assuming she also came?). Goodness, he hoped that the mother-to-be had not pushed herself too far given her delicate state. He made a mental note to check on her after the fighting was done. As far as he saw, it seemed that even the challenger of the hour had not arrived yet! How much longer would they be kept waiting in this weather?!

\\\\\\With a sigh and a shake of his head, Soren dropped the bundle he was carrying to his paws and turned back to Ravenna. “I brought along some cobwebs, goldenrod, and horsetail for today. Do you remember what those are all for?” Deciding to sit down as he passed the time, he figured now was as good a time as any to pose a little quiz to his trainee. Everyone he’d brought along were all fairly standard herbs so he was sure she would know the answer. If not, he could take the time before the challenge to explain their uses. Win-win! Honestly, the bundle of herbs Soren had brought along was fairly small; definitely not enough to treat grievous injuries on all three participants - that being Beowulf, Akari, and Chemical - if they were to be badly hurt. But he calculated that it would be enough for the time being, and anything else could be treated back in his den later.

Chemical-Omega-Dark Moon
The competing omega was quite nervous, keeping in the bushes to not be spotted until the event. She really didnt know who would win, Beowulf had more experience. But Chemical still had her young and spry muscles. The dark-furred she-wolf was glancing at her pack gathering at the lake awaiting her arrival. She had been so caught up in her thoughts that she didnt notice a chipmunk prancing beside her. "Funny, chipmunks are skittish critters." A small gust of wind danced against her pelt, blowing dust and the scents of others across her face. Her mind glided towards what Kaworu said. He loved me? She didnt think that could be possible. The omega never wanted a mate, No one wanted her anyways so it didnt really matter. Chemical thought it was almost time to emerge from the bushes, but she didnt see Beowulf yet.

Kaworu-Fighter-Dark Moon
Kaworu was running down the mountain, he really didnt want to see the fight. They either had to die or come close to it.
The young fighter kicked the pebbles at his paws. His mind was boggled into a mess of anxious thoughts, it was horrible. The fighter watched as the animals scurried for winter. He glanced up at the sky, he didnt want wither of them to get hurt. But one will have too.

Moose-Lead Hunter-Blue Rock
Moose woke up peacefully, which was rare.They glanced at their sleeping brother. Making subtle noises in his sleep; he was dreaming. The fighter rose to their feet and looked at the golden sun peeking over the horizon. They had a bad feeling about today, but they quickly brushed it off as near-winter jitters and walked along there way. Stopping by the fresh-kill pile and seeing the fur and bones that made it up they frowned. She walked back into the den too wake their brother up to go and hunt. Bringing their head down to lift Twig' s head and growl "You better get up, we have to find food" The lead hunter growled out. "Im up, Im up. dont get your tail in a twist." Twig chuckled out. Moose frowned, not in the mood for jokes. "Get Tanais up, we have to go hunt"

His tail wagged a bit whenever he’d look at his sister. He thought of Jason then, and how he’d adopted them. Well, technically adopted them, as their parents were...gone. Gone somewhere, who knows where. He tilted his head as they reached the lake, seeing only three. Assuming Opall was actually there, he grimaced. Had they really told the expecting female she had to come?

She wanted to check up on Opall as well, if Opall was even there. She then shook her head a couple times. She looked over to her brother for a moment.

If you asked Rama, sunrise was far too early for things like challenges, especially when attendance from the entire pack was expected! He knew this was important, of course — the outcome of this battle could make or break the future of Dark Moon Pack, especially with Jelena’s engagement on the line (mind you, he had had to fish that little tidbit of information out of his pack mates a few days ago. A wonder, the things you end up missing when you’re asleep!) — but it was cold this morning and Rama was tired, so he couldn’t help not being in the best of moods at the moment. Besides, he didn’t like challenges much to begin with. Sure, the notion of fighting for the right to a higher ranking made sense… in a way… but that didn’t mean Rama personally liked it, and he wasn’t ambitious enough to care about that sort of thing anyway… though he did have to admit that a small part of him admired Chemical’s moxie. It wasn’t everyday that an omega had the gall to speak out against the alpha, after all.

As the brown hunter made his way over to Black Lake — letting out infrequent yawns as he shook off his drowsiness — he could see that some of his fellow packmates had already arrived. Normally, Rama would have socialized a bit before the challenge started, but he figured there’d be more time for that afterwards, and he didn’t want to bother the healers, who seemed to be busy enough, or anyone who was on edge over the coming fight. Though he couldn’t see the lady of the hour just yet, Rama thought he could pick up the scent of the omega nearby. Maybe she was psyching herself up? That was entirely valid, considering she was about to take on the alphas of the pack headfirst. Granted, they were certainly not in their prime anymore, but they had experience and age to back them up. What did Chemical have on her side, besides perhaps an exorbitant amount of derring-do? Needless to say, Rama didn’t expect much from the fight, though he was perhaps underestimating the challenger more than he should have. Sighing, he found a spot that looked reasonably comfortable by the lakeshore and lolled onto the ground unceremoniously.
