At Haze's question, Iris looked to Circus curiously. She had been wondering the same thing, how could they get to the savannas? Was there a quicker way? "The sea...? Isn't that...really big? How are we going to get there by sea?" She said doubtfully, tilting her head to the side a bit. Iris has never seen the sea herself, but her mother told her about it. A huge expanse of water that went as far as the eye could see...Iris could swim but she couldn't swim that far.

Haze shuddered, swimming, just that word sent chills down his spine. Swimming, where you have to get you dry fur wet and get slapped by fishes swimming by. "Is there a faster route? I really don't want to swim." The male lion sighed. Haze remembered that moment when he just had to act all hero and catch that fish for Iris. The last thing he would do is going down to the waters anytime sooner. "There might be alligators." Haze quietly muttered. The word alligators reminded of his brother's scarred face, how he still cared for him till the second of his death. Haze didn't want to die like his brother.

Circus

The fox flicked his ears. "Well, I got there by boat... but with the humans gone we can't hitch a ride. I guess I can try to figure out how to use it", Circus said. He also thought of a large log he used as a raft to get him down the river. Maybe we could make something like that?, he thought.

Agni

The she-cat flicked her ears. "And risk you trying to eat me? I don't think so", she said to the alligator. Agni paced back and forth at the edge of the river. But she was very hungry...... Agni slowly padded closer to the river, eyeing a fish. She glanced at the alligator, then made a jump to catch it. She clawed at it, hooking it. She pulled it toward her mouth and bit it. Agni swam back to shore.

"Um, I'm sorry, but what's a boat?" She asked, looking to Circus. She's never seen a boat, or heard of one. She knew little of the ocean and water in general. Hopefully this 'boat' thing, whatever it was, could take them to the Savanna.

"I'm definitely am not trying to eat you at the moment," Grapefruit said evenly, following the she-cat with darting eyes as she eventually fished. "You see?" He smiled when she was done, bobbing his head at the shore's surface. "No harm done." He started to climb ashore, stopping a few feet of the housecat. "What brings you here to the river today?" He asked curiously, curling down on the ground so his claws stretched close to the river. "A cat and water. Very interesting combination."

The fox flicked his ears, amused about how he knew more about humans than the lions. "Boats... like planes with no wings that swim in water", he said. "The current should take us to the savannah, so if we find a boat, it will go by itself", he said, recalling.

The she-cat flicked her tail, finishing the fish. "Hunger, mainly... but I like water", she said, smiling at the alligator. He's not so bad , she thought. Agni got up and stretched. "So what's your story... anything interesting about your life?", she asked, being the curious cat she is.

Grapefruit laughed in a light, velvety chuckle. "A story you say? My life has been the same, more of a, hmm, business card than a storybook." He crawled on his belly to a patch of sunlight closer to the cat. "Hunger can sure create many encounters. This river has been my definite home for the past three weeks. You can call me Grapefruit, cat. What do you go by?" His light-colored eyes glinted with intensity. "You must be the first creature I've talked to in so long."

Haze blinked in confusion as the fox started using weird words again. He was going to ask, but thankfully Iris did it for him. "Do you think it is big enough for all three of us?" He asked the fox once the fox was done explaining. "Where can we find a boat though?"

A boat without wings that went on water? Iris didn't know that such a thing could exist, but she was intrigued by the idea. She looked to Haze when he asked another question, one that Iris didn't know either. Where could they find a boat? She looked back to Circus, wondering if he knew. She didn't say anything, but another question popped up in her mind. How far away is the sea in the first place? Will it take a long time to get there?

The fox smiled. "Yeah, it's definitely big enough for all of us", he said. Circus continued to pace. "I'm not sure where we can find one, but there's a lot near the ocean which is....", he paused staring outside the cave, "West of here". He looked back at the lions.
