Spirit headed back to the calf. She ran along it's side and kept it close, sometimes snapping at it's legs so it would trip.

He lept onto its left side to knock it over.

Spirit dodged the calf as it fell over, crying out. She bit it's neck.

The calf's mother approached and he snarled at her to get her to leave. "We should bring the body back to camp to eat. I think if the heard sees us we could be in trouble..."

avery pivcked a few herbs from the pile she hwd at her feet. "sixth sense?" she asked, hesitating before she put anything on. seeing the deepest wound she gently cleaned it out with the sea water, the salt removing infection.

He didnt even flinch at the salt burning his wound, "The reason why the position of Alpha wasn't passed down to me. Why my brother got it. Betas have a sense that allows them to know the intent of Pups, right after they're born. For good or for bad. I was deemed bad, and I wanted to prove it after that."

averys ears went down."im sorry.." she said through a mouth full of herbs. placing a few selected plants she wraped him up. coming up to his muzzle she had run out of seaweed. pausing she licked his wound gently, feeling embarassed. finally she rubbed some mashed up flowers on it and stepped back, still embarassed. "t-there.." she said, looking down
