[Apocalyptic_Punk]

Punk sighed rolling his yellow orbs upwards he let out a huffing sound. "Well then if you're all settled on what our fate is to be then that's fine and dandy," He said cooly. "But me on the other hand, I'm going to go see what I can see, sense were all judging that were on an island based on the fact that we all got washed up on a beach, and have explored a grand total of a smidge of beach and forest," he huffed and trotted towards the water taking a drink trying to sooth his anger.

"Fine. If we are going to be stuck on this island we may as well know the area." Sandra agreed, although her facial expression stayed in the same irritated look. She got to her paws and sniffed the air, trying to understand the smells emanating from the jungle. Most of the scents she could make out were the scents of monkeys or tropical fruit. But she also smelled birds, voles and some little spider monkeys, all of which would be nice prey. And there was an odd scent of feline, she assumed it was probably a jaguar or some other jungle cat. Which if so then they would be a danger to the dogs.

Sandra started following the stream, deciding she would both check the place out and probably catch some food on the way. The stream ran downhill so she had to struggle up the uphill to follow the stream. But she wanted to be able to make her way back to the others with ease, so she followed the stream, not knowing or caring if the others were following.

"They called me hyper. The humans did. I always raced up to them, tail wagging, even though I knew that it wouldn't get me anything. I guess I'm still kind of like that; eager, even when things are terrible. I always can see the good in situations. Like this island. Sure, we're stranded with a bunch of other odd dogs, but at least we have some peace and quiet from the humans!"

"Do I really have to tell you?"
"Fine. I was born a 'pedigree dog,' from some breeder. He raised me for six months, and then a nice human came. She rubbed my ears and told me that I was adorable. She fed me treats and took me home. She bought me a custom-fit collar with my name on it, same with a food bowl. She had the softest dog bed for me. Sometimes, she let me sleep on her bed, with her. She gave me a lot of treats and fed me the best, most expensive food. She called me her little blessing; that's why she named me Blessing. And then I hit one year. I guess my cuteness wore off, because she started giving me less and less treats. She moved down to the cheapest dog food, and it had a lot of bi-products in it that wasn't good for my health. My doggie bed got raggedy and old, but she still forced me to sleep on it. My collar was too tight, but she put it on me anyway."
"She eventually gave me up to the pound. I was in there for what seemed like forever. I got really skinny. I still didn't give up hope."
"And now I'm here."

(Well really all that has gone on is the dogs woke up, each separated and not knowing where they are and then most of them eventually met up. So I guess a good place to start would be finding yourself on this not so deserted island.)

Blessing rolled over, blinking sleep out of her eyes. The scenery seemed to sway. Salt stung her nose, eyes, and mouth, and her throat was extremely dry. She could hear her ribs creak as she slowly stood, trying to figure out where she was. Blinking once more, the scenery stopped moving, and she gasped. This wasn't the boat, or the pound in Australia, or her master's house. Palm trees and sand made up most of it, and then there was the waterline. She padded over, looking at the salt water distrustfully. There had to be a lake or river somewhere.
She looked around again, looking for anyone. Small shapes were spread out, but mostly they were together and near each other. Blessing took a deep breath and tip-toed her way over, being careful and quiet. She approached an English Bull Terrier and tried to smile.
"Hello."

Sandra turned her head to the noise, almost expecting it to be Punk or Abi, or maybe even the retriever. But no, it was a dog she didn't recognize. She let out a sigh. How many dogs are there on this island? The boat crash was probably the cause of all of them getting washed up here, odds are these dogs were in the boat crash as well. It was unlikely a bunch of dogs would just happen to wind up on stranded a deserted island on the same exact day as each other. But the fact of there being more dogs worried Sandra, there was a limited amount of food and odds are half the dogs don't even know how to hunt.

"Hello." Sandra greeted, trying to act as polite as possible despite her recent feud with Abi. She forced a smile across her lips in an attempt to conceal her frustration. Her frustration of course, was not towards this newcomer but instead toward Abi.

I'm sorry but I won't be able to reply much for a week or so. I'm with my family and all that and don't have computer access (on my phone now). So if you want to control Abi, ourpawprints, you can, or she can just be paused or go to sleep for a bit or whatever. Just don't get her in any huge arguments or in a physical fight or killed or anything. Cx
