Annie smiled "if you want" she suddenly smelled the jack rabbit from earlier and silently stalked toward it, leaping and killing it with a single bite. She returned to Serge, giving it to him and winking.

With an astonished look Serge tried too keep his jaw from dropping. "Wow." he said watching the dog. He could tell that with a quick kill like that she had to have at least a little skill. "So ready to head back?" he asked already walking back his thick accent once again very obvious.

Adara set off, searching for another target. Crossing a road onto a busy street, Adara saw a cat disappear down an alley. She followed it and found it sitting by a door. "Hi" she said. "Do you know where to find anything to hunt here?" she asked. The cat said nothing but looked down the alley a little more. Adara trotted down there and saw what the cat was looking at. It's my break! she thought. Just down past the opening at the end of the dark passageway, Adara saw a field. There has to be some prey out there she thought to herself as she walked into it. The scents assailed he nostrils and she sprinted right away over to a rabbit. Caught it and sat down. One mouse and a rabbit. she thought. Suddenly feeling guilty, Adara wondered if she should tell people about this place. I will if I cross them she decided.

"One sec" Annie smiled and slipped into an alley. A few minutes later she came back with another rabbit and two mice. She gave one of the mice to Serge than nodded "ready"

Serge chuckled. Although it wasn't intended she did sting his pride a little. Just a mouse eh? He thought. Well it was what I asked for, he smiled and grabbed it. "Thanks."

Annie smiled "no problem" She could tell his pride was hurt but she didn't know why. After all, they both had a mouse and a rabbit. Was she supposed to bring him more than she had? She shook it off and continued on hrr way.
