Vallerie led the way into the shallow canyon, her silver tail raised in the air. She looked around. "Let's go that way," she said, pointing with her tail at an expanse of land on the eastern side of the lake. "We can look at the river later." She trooped into the trees knowing that Aerie would follow. As she waded through a small creek, she noticed a clearing on the other side. It looked comfy, with a bed of pine needles overlaying mossy rocks. "We can spend the night over there!" she called back to Air. "It's getting late anyways."

Sauver grinned shyly. "Thanks...?" he replied before realizing it sounded a bit strange. Is that even how you talk to your mate? As he took another bite of the goose he had a slightly shocking realization. I'm taken! Third male in the pack to get a mate. Third! That's pretty good for a hunter... Once again he gazed appreciatively at Mekah.

Bronte perked her ears and looked around. She wagged her tail, the pack had been so dark and depressed and that really wasnt her personality. She fell for some of it but its time to start being happy again. She let out a happy howl and lapped up some cool water, it burned her dry throat but she didnt care. After five minutes of drinking and grabbed a chunk of meat and ate on top of a rock.

Cody disappeared into the trees. He hunted along the way but didnt have much luck, only managing a bird. Cody dragged it into camp, and after Bronte took a chunk of his kill he went to his den and ate it. Not knowing where dusk or Polarus was he felt like a loner, on his own defending himself. What happened to the other wolves. Did they leave? Join other packs? Make their own pack. He sighed and let his head rest.

Howler growled and nudged Emerald away from all the wolves. When he was pretty sure they were alone he looked at his mate, " We didnt need that." He said flatly.

Aerie tromped through the creek and into the clearing. "Not bad." She lifted her muzzle, scenting prey. "I'll be right back.." whispered and stalked off down a small ridge. She noticed a small buck, and eased her way behind a bush.

Mekah smiled, "We should get back to the pack." She stood, shaking off her fur.

Vallerie, hoping Aerie got whatever prey she was stalking, walked into the clearing. As she stepped inside she noticed a strong scent. A scent marker. It was subtly familiar but she couldn't put her paw on whose scent it belonged to. It seemed she must have met them recently though.

Fuir snickered quietly, loping out to meet Brechen. "That's another way to solve the problem," he said casually, as though they were old friends. He glanced back the cave where the unconscious fae lay.

Sauver nodded in agreement. "Do you know where everyone is? Last time I checked, they were down at the lake." He craned his neck, trying to see past the trees into the valley. "Let's go."

Vesper, instead of heading back to the dens, decided she would stay by the lake for a bit. She remembered her clearing. Should she go back? No, her scent marker should be enough to say whose territory it was, wouldn't it? She smirked. I have pack territory, and then I have my territory on the pack territory.

{ *clears throat* Vallerie and Aerie used to be in the same pack (Bandit Hollow) but after a member was killed by White Moonlight and the other disappeared (Baulder and Ruby) the pack dispersed, leaving Val and Air. They teamed up as two loners who live together and are exploring White Moonlight territory since they have decided to live there. Fuir, who is usually reserved but is feeling strangely social, is a loner who has been watching Brechen and Dusk deal with Ruby. Sauver and Mekah just became mates and are wondering where the rest of the pack is. Vesper is being confusing because she found a clearing that no one else seemed to know about. She left a scent marker, officially marking it as her territory even though she's part of a pack. It also just happens to be the clearing that Vallerie and Aerie plan on spending the night in. Hope that clears things up c:

Aerie had the kill over in a second, and happily carried her prey back to the clearing, which seemed was a little farther than she had previously thought she had walked.

Mekah nodded, "Alright." She walked slowly and then turned, to make sure he was with her.
