Brechen looked over at the black loner and then to Dusk. He wished he could leave Rosie alone, but it was too late for that. He resigned to waiting here until she responded, even if that meant starvation.

Mekah didn't move away, instead she gazed at him, in a strange, but happy way.

Aerie growled, remembering why she was at the border in the first place. "They won't do much, They are all about peace." she scoffed coldly in their direction her gaze set.

Vallerie shrugged. "Obviously we won't find many wolves here with the talent we expect. I don't know about lowering standards. Should we just abandon the concept of a new pack?"

Sauver's tail twitched towards Mekah's. The tip was touching her now. He stared into her eyes, feeling he might not be able to look away.

Aerie nodded, "Maybe we should just stay around here as loners. We could hunt and live together in a pair."
