Lyon's tail flicked softly. He was feeling hungry but he didn't let it show. He sat up normally, or normal for him, which was staying straight, head held high, and his tail wrapped around his leg. He yawned softly.

Glorian looked at the new dogs with wonder, then looked at Marian, wondering what she was thinking. The creamish dog made her uncomfortable, because she was certain he was looking at them with scorn. Finally she couldn't stand it anymore and said, "Please pardon me if I seem rude, but who are you? I am Glorian, pure bred Cocker Spaniel, faithful companion to the lady in waiting Darcy, and lady-dog in waiting to Marian, pure bred Collie. And this is Malick. He is a pure bred Husky, and as far as I know, he is the king's dog." Glorian ended her statement slightly out of breath, hoping that would wipe the scorn out of cream-dog's face.

Lyon looked at the dog with a distasteful look, he scanned the one name Glorian. He stood up tall. "My name is Lyon the Third. Purebred belgian sheepdog, previously owned by the great Fellow family. Loyal companion to none so far." He looked at her with a bland look. "Any more questions I'm sure I won't be happy to answer."

Glorian nearly let out a growl from deep in her throat, but stopped herself in time. Living with as many dogs as she had she knew she would be expected to have more patience than most dogs, but that was not the case. As handsome as Lyon certainly was, she found his amazingly large ego quite appalling. "Well! Considering your current circumstances you certainly shouldn't turn up your nose quite so disdainfully, since you have no owner right know! A true gentle-dog wouldn't let his ego blind him so that he forgets that!" Then she turned at the Dalmatian and German Sheperd and said, "Please do pardon my seemingly appalling manners. I had absolutely no intention to ignore you. Please, do tell me your names."

Lyon chuckled softly. "And a lady-in-waitings dog should be kind and never mean. You let anger get the best of you." He turned and curled up in one of the corners of the cage. "And for your information, my family was murdered along with my pup." He closed his eyes.

This information shocked Glorian. She turned quickly and looked at him for a moment. "Your family was murdered?! Why that's... That's just... I'm sorry. I suppose I was a little too quick to judge you, and I did let my anger show too quickly. I truly am sorry. No dog should have to face that sort of thing."

Lyon looked up at her. "My family was a rich one. Thieves will take a life just to get money. I figured you would know." He laid his head back down and curled his tail around him it touching the side of his muzzle.
