Anna shook her head "Leave Sonador and her colt alone Tessa. You will only upset Sonador more, If the colt is still sore by morning, Sonador will grow more protective, and will attack you. Do not go near them, she also doesn't like women.. who aren't Bulgarian" she added. and grinned "Yes, my horses are.. a little racist, but only Sonador is." she opened Tom's room "this is your room Tom, Tessa, yours is the third on the left. And, we don't have an outdoor riding area? we only have the track... we don't give our horses any lea- well there is the river actually. give your horse proper training in the morning, and you can take her out in the after noon. I'd go with you, but my racing mares don't handle random rides, the only one i could ride is happy Night, but he needs a break from mares." she murmured and ask how much his fee was. "$230,000, but it goes up about $500 if his foals have success His first ever stud fee, was only $1,000" she murmured, letting the girl figure out how she'd pay for it as she moved off to her own room. "Night Elijah" she spoke "Night Anna" he called back. She smiled and jumped into the shower, but called out first "You both have a one man bathroom in your room, it's the door to the left at the back. basics, toilet, shower, sink" she murmured then moved into the shower. She finished and turned the hot water off to the main bathroom and then went to bed.

Tessa frowned and said, "Okay, I sure hope he will be fine tomorrow. And she is quite interesting about not liking the women who aren't bulgarian. Thanks, but I'll just ride Petra around the track. My way of training is more of a conditioning first at a trot around the track and slowly build up to a canter. Maybe when the mares are not in heat we can go for ride together some time. Well can I book him for the next off season to breed? I can pays deposit first, then pay the rest after racing season. Thanks Anna, Good Night."
Tessa slept till 6:30 and went to the mare's barn to fetch Petra.

Tessa tacked her up with her turquoise racing saddle, but let the stirrups longer than the jockey length, since it was only a trot and slow canter day. She fetched the tack and tacked up Petra. She led her out and bridled her. She swung aboard at the track and trotted around first. They cantered around a few rounds, Tessa was tired after a while to hold Petra to keep a canter, she was too excited to gallop a race soon. Tessa galloped around the track once and swung off. She untacked Petra and washed her off. Petra was hungry so Tessa brought her back and gave Petra her morning hay and oats.


Tom left the place around 7:30 to meet his friends.

"No, no, not there! Edward, I've told you a million times, Hugo's tack on the right, Cel's on the left. Simple! Where is your mind today? Clara rolled her eyes at her best friend. Edward Dallas was muscular, a ladies man and simply amazing with horses. But his imagination and thoughts often got the better of him. She knew he wanted to go to university, but he knew he couldn't leave them at this point. Not so close to the biggest race of their lives. Clara Redshadow hadn't been very wealthy at the start of her career. As the daughter of a vet and a farrier, she often wondered if she would make it. And now she was here, with her own racehorses and stables. The little East Brook stables bad enough room for about 6 horses. Three of those spaces were filled with the stunning Havana Hope, an 8 year old stallion, Celtic Cargo, the stallion with the mind of his own, and Bear Beautiful, the stunning yet often moody mare. Clara's twin sister, Bella poked her head round the tack room door. "Let me guess. Edward's causing trouble again?" Clara smirked at her sister.

Meanwhile, at the posh Hopefield Manor, Violet Hopefield was having problems of her own over the phone. "I'm sorry, how long!?... Two months! Jeez, mum, I thought you'd have the guts to tell him yourself.. Yeah, I know he'll blow his top about it, but you don't need to dump your problems on me!.... Dad's work is keeping him? That doesn't mean you can't come back! .. You have to help him? Really?.. Don't you 'sweetie' me! Violet angrily clicked her mobile off, and sat up in bed. These were the days when you really needed friends. She glanced out the window to see her older brother Aidan racing around the racecourse on their amazing horse Hades and Gentlemen. There was no lying, he knew how to get the horses going. Unfortunately for Violet, the news that their parents were not going to be back for two months would probably get his anger going. She stepped in front of the mirror, looking herself up and down. She was dressed in her riding gear, and she looked as impeccable as always,with hair neatly tied back and not a splash of mud on her. Guess she'd get it over with. She wished she had visitors her own age sometimes, but they were usually only friends with her to get to her brother. She rolled her eyes, before heading out of her large bedroom.

Tess and Tom decided to go for a ride Tessa and Tom groomed and tacked up Petra. Tom brought Petra to the track and raced around the track as if he were racing. Tessa smiled as they pulled up sides heaving beside them. "New record Tom! Petra and you have a good chance of being placed in a race." Tom smiled and swung off Petra to let Tessa do some easy cooling down trotting around the track. They went back to the house to get breakfast after grooming Petra.

6 am:
Anna had woken up half an hour before, at about 5:30, to check on the foal. She had the vet check him and he said it was just a small swelling from landing on the ground so hard for he'd been born while his mother stood up. Which was good, and seeing it had already gone down she hooked a lead rope onto the mare and led her to the pasture, the colt staying right beside her the entire time. she smiled and stroked Sonador then let her loose in the paddock with her colt. They both took off.

7am:
Anna and Elijah saddled up Lucky charm and warmed him up before properly racing him. Getting a proper time she then got a groom to take him back, wash him down and feed him while Elijah mounted and did the same with True colours, but, he rode True colors alot lighter and calmer than Lucky charm or the other horses.

8am:
Anna Saddled up her black mare, Valarie hall or Rio, and had Elijah ride her. Both she and Lucky Charm were racing in the breeders cup Simply because they were her best races. "Ride her hard and properly, don't let her slow down, keep her going and use that whip only if you need it" she murmured and sent him around.

9am:
Anna had the grooms tend to the horses while she and Elijah went in to have breakfast.

Tom went to the horse shop to get Petra's oats. Tessa saw Anna having breakfast in the house and went to her. She said a quick good morning to Anna and asked, "Hey Anna, is Sonador's foal fine? I hope so." Tessa smiled as she waited for a reply as she received a text.

The text was from Tom, it said, 'At racing secretary office now. Entering Petra. Her number is 3.'

Anna nodded briefly and spoke "Sonador gave birth standing up, so he bruised his leg on his way down, he'll be fine" she spoke and looked at the girl. "You racing This weekend?" This weekend wasn't a big race, but it wasn't a small race, champions still came, basically to make more profit on their horses, especially their stallions, she was putting Lucky Charm in. "Elijah's mount is Lucky Charm, he's number 9" she murmured softly. Anna wasn't really worried that Lucky Charm would lose, being the son of a champion sire and a champion dam, she wasn't really worried about petra beating her stallion. Most those more competitive racers only raced in training. Which meant Petra was much calmer than the other racers, which consequently meant she didn't go to her full speed. Anna didn't dare say that though, Tessa was... sort of a friend, Anna didn't really have friends, she just had racers and a jockey. Her horses and her jockey were her friends. Anna smiled softly thanked her maid for making breakfast, bacon and scrambled eggs. She grabbed three small peices of bacon and two small spoonfuls of egg. This was all she'd eat until dinner. She then went to the table and ate while Elijah grabbed 5 peices of bacon and three spoonfuls of egg. Anna grinned at him as he came over with a mountain of food. Elijah wasn't pig, and it didn't matter what he ate, he worked it off when he exercised or rode the horses. Anna's only exersice was on the tredmill, seeng as you had to drive to reach each stable.

Tessa gave a worried look to Anna and said, "I hope it wont happen again. I'm entering Petra in it, although its only part of the training. This year we're hoping to enter in the biggest race, we don't expect to win, we know Petra always tries her best. She's been going faster recently." Tessa smiled happily and smiled.
