The old stag snorts a little at a young stag who got a bit too close to the Ladies, making the poor little male run off with his tail tucked to his rump. Titan stands tall and strong, but then gets bored of the stance and goes about grazing. He looks up a bit as he notices Aylssia coming closer, the hind must be in a rather deep stage of heat to be wanting his company. The King starts to make his way to the hind, but then catches sight of Prince posturing for Constance, who makes the King proud by ignoring the young male. Titan nudges Alyssia softly before breaking into a quick trot, heading over towards his Lady and Prince. As he gets closer, he bellows and charges at Prince, his head dropped so his antlers were aimed at the other stag.

The stag snorts a little as Alyssia leaves, his ego starting to deflate a bit, but he tries to keep his head up to try and impress the remaining hind. Prince huffs a bit as Constance denies him as well, not really sure what was wrong, was he not good looking enough? The stag paws the ground and shakes his antlers at Constance, trying his hardest to get her attention. He suddenly hears a bellow and looks over to see Titan barreling towards him and Constance, such a sight makes the younger stag cower and bleat like a calf. He quickly turns tail and bolts away from the large King, any thought of fighting was squashed by his fear of the larger male.

The hind gets near the middle of the big herd and drops her head to graze, the grass wasn't as sweet as the stuff by the lake, but it will do. Echo flicks her small tail as flies keep biting her rump and then flicks her ears as they start biting at her face. She shakes out her pelt when they got too annoying and sighs, but quickly looks up as she hears some hoofbeats. The mature hind spots Apollo coming closer and closer, obviously wanting to get her attention so Echo just goes back to grazing, acting as if she was ignoring him.

...glanced after Prince, frowning. She quickly returned her gaze to Constance, and sprinted up to her. "You okay?" Alyssia nickered softly, a hint of worry edging her voice, as she looked her friend up and down, and touched her nose to her shoulder, in a comforting manner.

She let out a snort of annoyance when the stag continued trying to impress her, had he not already noticed that she belonged to another stag? Obviously he didn't though. She quickly lifted her head when she heard loud hooves coming closer. She noticed Titan charging at the young stallion and stepped away, making sure to to accidentally get in Titan's path. She was relieved that her stag had come to get rid of the determined, yet now frightened one. She looked over at Alyssia and nodded her head "Yes.. I'm alright, Thank you" she said softly, gently nudging the hind back before turning her attention back to the stags.

He slowed his pace when he neared the grazing hind, keeping his posture. He looked at her and stepped closer, though he soon bowed his head in a charming manner "Hello there" he said, keeping his attitude calm and suave. He raised his head back up, standing tall in hopes to impress the hind by his appearance, and if that didn't work, then he would try and court her a different way.

Harley watched Titan protecting his herd carefully, and he wished he could be as strong and as mighty as him. Though, being one of the smaller stags, the hind didn't want anything to do with him half of the time. Sighing, he started to graze, yet without notice he started to wonder as he grazed more. He heard a few little protective snots and calls, but he didn't need to worry much. this year, the hinds only wanted the king, well, most of them. Some wanted to mate with the lords, though Harley wasn't mighty enough. Like every year, he was left without mating. Thoughts flooded his head, and soon he snorted and shook out his head, his antlers causing some sort of "dance". It may of looked like to be showing off, though there were few hinds around. He then wondered a little further to the lake, and started to gulp the water up.

She lifted her head up from the water and looked around, she missed spring, and not having to deal with the annoyance of her heat. She heard faint hooves nearby and turned quickly towards the sound, seeing a stag not too far away. She snorted softly and tried to act as if she hadn't noticed him there.
