A strong gust of wind brought Rosie's scent wafting down Brechen's nose. He began to run towards the lake.

Goldpaw stepped out of the shadows between Howler and Emerald and Val and whoever was with her. Her fur was prickled and her jaws opened. Instead of saying anything, she sent up a loud howl, summoning the pack to witness these traitors. She didn't pay much attention to the outsiders.

Polarus too could smell Rosie. " SHe's hunting on ourterritory!" He snarled

Dusk arrived at the lake, clearly now in another sour mood and seeing the doe only encouraged his anger. "Rosie!" Dusk barked, knowing full well where she was.

Vallerie smiled. "In short they have be like us." She narrowed her eyes. "But aren't we right next to another pack, the one Baulder, Ruby, and I attacked? White Moonlight or something? They'll be recruiting all of the loners walking around here." She stiffened. "What the-" Grabbing Aerie by the scruff - something difficult to do considering her size - she dragged her away from the wolves who had just shown up and didn't let go until they were several yards away. "Go!" she hissed.

Fuir, seeing the doe, darted towards it and ripped off a chunk before dashing back. He gnawed on the thigh in silence as he watched the strangers.

Sauver, without thinking, edged closer to Mekah. "Yeah, really pretty..." His gaze wasn't necessarily trained on the sky anymore.

Vesper, seeing everyone converging towards the lake, sniffed the air. The scent hanging there made her hackles rise but she stiffened upon hearing Goldpaw's howl. Where should she go? Since no one seemed to have noticed the howl she turned and ran towards her packmate. "What is it?" she asked, skidding to a stop. Being experienced in tracking, she picked out several obvious signs of unfamiliar wolves and looked at Goldpaw, awaiting explanation.

Howler snarled and stopped Emerald, ' What are you doing." he demanded to GoldPaw.

Rosie laughed and came out of the shadows. They were still far from her on another side of the lake. " Dusk what a surprise! Here to tell me im the new leader?"
