"Since before you and the others left." The small red healer answered. She was so on edge that her claws were fully extended without purpose. Looking around and seeing spots circle in the sky she frowned. "I don't remember seeing any hunting party set off, and especially not in that direction..."

Alestor's face became serious and displeased. "So if you don't have any cubs then who's did that roar come from just now?" Either Jakura was too busy or he was simply negligent of his own land, he was hoping it was the first one. He saw more vulture gather in the distance, doing their circling and as his sister continued her input his eyes shot back at the black cat.

Jakura looked down as Alestor spoke '' i've pre-occupied '' he answered If i knew the girls wanted cubs i'd sacrifice my time so that they could be happy he thought before looking to the female healer and thought for a moment '' right, i know Chase went off earlier to find the stragglers but if he hasnt returned either there must be a problem '' he said noticing the birds in the sky.

"Argh! I've no time to discuss it calmly!" She growled rather loudly, unwantingly cutting him off and dashing towards the direction of the scavengers. "If your gonna help then follow!" She called back but didn't spare even a second to look back or wait for another word. With her sister possibly on the line she didn't slow of falter even once.

"You best get going, big boy..." Alestor's keen amber eyes warned him with great intensity, his claws digging into the ground. He stood and turned, roaring for some other rouges as he too needed to take care of business. Two of them soon came and they set off, rounding the Shadow Pride boarders. In the mean time he made his way to the Sandmane boarder and roared for their alpha to see if they wished to make an agreement as well.

Jakura looked as Sekhmet ran off then to Alestor as he spoke '' you know i'd die before letting her get hurt '' he said before giving a small nod. The black cat raced after Sekhmet, soon he caught up to her. Jakura was running to the female's left but slightly behind '' just be cautious Sekh, i dont want you hurt either '' he said taking a breath and speeding up slightly '' i need you on top form ''

Sheera's head twisted at the sound of the roar '' looks like Luna has to jester's job '' she sighed knowing his work was never easy.

"Like i'd let anyone but Arwen hurt me..." She huffed at his order. A hulking body on the ground wasn't what she wanted to see. Rage filled her and she managed to break one of the vulture's wings while the others scattered in the air. She saw the mangled paw and whimpered a bit, using their noses to check her breathing before nudging her head. "Arwen...? Say something, d*mn it!" With her demand came a smack to the face.

"... Said I'm fine... Jakura..." She said again. So much blood loss she was almost living in a mental reality now. Her eyes cracked but closed again, fading in and out.

Jakura sighed knowing that Sekhmet felt strongly about her sister but he pusehd some of the personal feelings aside, not letting himself feel anything. it wasnt the time let feeling get to his head and force him to make rash decisions. The brute skidded behind Sekhmet as she stopped, a pile of dust gathered and he walked towards the wounded female '' Arwen? '' he said lowly as he moved towards her. '' we need to get her back to camp, its to dangerous out here... Sekh, i want you to check her quickly making sure she can be moved '' he said asking her more than ordering. Jakura walked behind Arwen and lowered his head glancing over the female '' maybe if i weren't so abandonent this wouldnt have happened '' he mumbled quietly blaming himself for her state, looking uo he let out a low growl '' When you've checked her i want you to head back to camp, ahead of us and get things ready for her '' he said his voice was rougher than normal and his claws dug into the ground.

She sniffed and rubbed her eye. "The only thing I see is her paw but due to the severity she's lost a lot of blood." She looked around and grabbed some long grass, making a lame wrapping on it in the mean time. Hyenas where already gathering around and she growled at their restless pacing. She grabbed her scruff and lifted her a bit, being so large she was a bit harder to get under then all the other females. As soon as she was loaded she waited. "I'm not leaving her with only you while those scavengers are around." One got a bit to close for her taste and she slashed it's nose. "Back off!" She roared angrily.

Jakura looked around at the approaching hyenas, walking backwards towards Sekhmet and Arwen '' you want to carry her then fine '' he said as he stopped beside the healer '' you best run fast and whatever you hear do not stop, she is your only priority '' he growled lowly as his shoulder's hunched as he scanned the area counting the hyenas. Jakura's lips crinkled and his teeth visable '' there's more of them in the thicket, to your front you might want to take a small but effective detour around them '' he dropped her some advice. Jakura glanced back at Arwen on Sekhmet's back '' i'll do what i can to give you a head start, just make sure she is safe '' he growled the last part of the statement.
Jakura growled lowly as he crunched his neck '' you want your meal? Come and get it then '' he called as he looked around '' you'll get more a meal from me than anything else '' he said.

"You really are a brute..." She grumbled with displeased, not caring if he heard. With so much extra weight she was a lot slower but despite this she moved on, opting to use her own sister as her shield as she had no other choice. It was an agonizingly long walk and with a few more wounds she finally made it back, one of the camp guards driving them away as she reached her den and dropped the heavy burden. "Lynn, get up and help!" She ordered. The female wasn't severely injured so she could be of some help now.

Maddalynn looked up and got up with a light groan of ache. "What do you need?" She asked before being sent off to get a lot of water.

Jakura looked around at Sekhmet '' look, at least get her away from here '' he said as he swiped an attacker away '' i'd rather take the bites and chews than see you getting tore to shreds '' he added noticing that she was already moving now. The male done what he could to cover the lioness's as they moved. His healing wounds were soon opened once more as the hyenas ganged up on the male. He let out several roars of agony as they pulled at his flank. He finally managed to battle the scrawny runts off, leaving a few of there dead or severally wounded behind. Jakura smirked before mewing with pain as he twisted his torso, walking towards the dead hyena he shrugged '' we cant waste food, not now '' he said before leaning down and grabbing it by it's scruff and hauling it towards camp.
