Twig swelled up. "How dare you-" he stiffened. "I mean, sorry, Lord, master, my king, my savior."
Stem nudged him. "Twig, please shut up."

Atlas chuckled. The Alpha had fallen so low, and he pitied him. Twig was not the same Alpha as before, Well Twig wasn't an alpha anymore anyway. Atlas smiled at Twig.

"Why'd you summon him in the first place?" Stem asked.
"Pond left me," Twig whispered. "I was angry. Desperate."
"Really? You eradicated Tree Pack and Snowflake Pack because your mate left you? Why-" Stem gasped.
Twig sighed.
"Oh, no," Stem shook their head. "Twig, he's too old for you. Plus you're such a leech."
"I am NOT a leech!!" Twig shrieked in a shrill voice.
"You are. You're just a weaselly suck-up. And again, he's too old for you. Like a hundred years too old."
Twig groaned. "I know."
