White Flame started to approach Blaze when he heard Xavier whisper one last thing. He could barely make out his words, but he raised his head slightly when he realized what Xavier had said; his heart fluttered in his chest. White Flamed turned his head as Xavier left. "You too," he whispered to himself as Xavier's three tails disappeared into the trees. He reminded himself that it didn't mean anything, but he couldn't help feeling that perhaps there was hope. He turned back to where Blaze was standing and padded over to him. "Hey, my name is White Flame. Who are you?"

Daze

"Join the pack?" Daze frowned and looked at Star with confusion. Why would Xavier want to help a wolf that had attacked his sister. "Wait!" Daze called to Star, "let me come with you!" He followed the fae over to the kill pile.

Xavier nodded. "Be careful," he whispered, but for some reason he hoped Flame hadn't heard it. Then he put his nose to the floor and approached Latke. He saw the orange wolf and approached him slowly. "Hello, I am Xavier, the alpha of this pack. I was sent here by my beta who has alerted me of your presence. Latke, is it?" He asked.

Star felt a twinge of annoyance as Daze followed her. She really needed to walk alone to clear out her head, but now that wasn't going to happen. Maybe Daze would actually help her feel better? She shrugged. "Yeah... okay." And then she padded out of camp, swishing her tails as she went.

Latke

He was sitting at the border when a large three tailed male approached him, the male then introduced himself as Xavier, the Alpha. A wave of anxiety washed over him, White Flame was no where to be seen, where was he? He quickly lowered his head to show respect to the alpha "Ye...yes, my name is Latke" he stammered.

Ruby

She reached camp when she realized something didn't feel quite right. A lot of frustration and anger seemed to be coming from Daze and Star as she passed them. She decided it would be best not to go after them to ask what was wrong till things calmed down, so she trotted over to the kill pile and laid down.

White Flame turned back to where Blaze was standing and padded over to him. "Hey, my name is White Flame. Who are you?"

Daze

Daze trotted after Star out of camp into the forest. He nodded to Ruby as she passed and them turned his attention back to Star. Daze opened his mouth to say something, but he decided that it would be best to keep quiet.

Star looked intensely at her paws as she went. Her three tails bounced along with her stride, and her first heat scent passed through the air. She tried to cover it up from Daze by lowering her tail, but she knew he was most likley to smell it anyways.

Xavier nodded in appreciation. He bowed his head only at a slight tilt, not as deep as the loner, giving a small sign of respect. He puffed out is chest, showing dominance over the wolf. "Have you ever been in a pack before?" he asked.

Latke

He kept his head low "I...it, ah, its complicated, you see I was in a pack a long time ago, I was a hunter. Then on a routine patrol I met my mate, she was unfortunately a lead warrior for a rival pack that my pack shared a boarder with. Well when her Alpha, also her father, found out about us he threatened to kill her and start a war between our packs if she stayed with me. So we decided it would be best to run away together, and start our own pack. And everything was going well, we found a territory in a large canyon with wonderful den sights next to a stream. But..one day," a shiver ran down his spine, and his voice caught in his throat, "...a..a month after our pups were born, I came back from hunting to find our den empty, and my family gone. I have been searching for them ever since". He looked down at the ground, and he tried to hold back a tear from rolling down his cheek.

Daze

Daze watched Star and felt that she was still in a bad mood. He himself had not been in the best spirits, but he wanted to try to cheer Star up. He had always liked her more when she was happy. "Hey," Daze nudged Star, "What is bothering you? Is it still that stupid loner stuff? You know Xavier is a smart wolf, and he wouldn't make a stupid decision like letting in a wolf who was a threat to the pack. I am sure that he had the best intensions." Daze didn't really know what to think honestly, but he could only hope that the other wolves knew what they were doing. Until then, his only goal was to make sure that Star was going to be alright. He knew that she would be going into heat soon, so now would be the time that he would need to be there for her if he wanted to have any chance with the light fae. Daze smelled the air, bit his tongue, and didn't say another word until Star had responded. He pretended not to notice, but he couldn't help but realize what the scent had meant.

"My condolences." He barked. "But at least you have the experience. So would you consider hunting your strong suit?" Xavier asked.

Star nodded. "Yeah. I guess it kinda spooked me, ya know? I haven't been attacked in a good two years. Not by a wolf, at least." She woofed. "Maybe I'm just overreacting."

[RIP me...Quitting :(]

"Hello, white flame. As you know, I am blaze. I am sorry for the commotion going about, I mean no harm." Said blaze

"Blaze, huh?" White Flame said and stepped towards the loner. "So what do you want? Why come onto my territory?" The brute flicked his tail. He wanted to get back and see how things were going with Latke and Xavier, which made him slightly impatient, but White Flame didn't let his feelings show. This he felt he had gotten quite good at over the years.

Daze

Daze smirked at Star's response, "Yeah. Well any wolf that attacks you must be out of their mind because, one, you could probably kick their but, and, two, they would also have Xavier, White Flame, and I all coming after them." Daze chuckled, "I don't think your over reacting too much." Daze thought for a moment and frowned, "About White Flame, you two have grown quite close recently, he has seemed off lately. Like, he doesn't want me around. Just earlier today, we had met a loner while patrolling the border, and he sent me away. I didn't think that was like him. Bizarre, right? Do you have any idea what is up?"
