Polarus nodded to Dusk, he then began to lead the way towards the border he sniffed around before sitting down. " I want to say that I'm glad to have you as my beta and I have faith you'll be a great beta and one day alpha."

Kia smiled happily, she lied on her back and rolled over. The snow was beginning to dry up and this made Kia happy. She was not a winter wolf she was more summery wolf.

Brechen followed after Polarus, and sat down soon after he did. He listened quietly to the alpha's comment, and, as usual, tilted his head in every direction to look at his surroundings. Finally he looked at Polarus and attempted some sort of thanks. "Er, thank you, I uh, well, my parents came from a very noble background, and uh, I hope I can live up to their expectations...yours, I mean, I mean...no...never mind." He coughed and trotted past Polarus, his head down to the ground and his nose working.

Polarus was confused, he flicked his ears and went to sniffing also.

((If you haven't noticed yet, Brechen is just an awkward wolf when he has to be friendly...he's used to growling at strangers and fighting enemies. XD))

Brechen didn't smell anything inordinary...but then again, he wasn't sure exactly what he was looking for.

Polarus nodded. " Good no ones crossed our territory. Let's head back." he began to trot back towards camp. What ever happened to those one wolves? We're they done trying to steal the territory? Polarus didn't expect them to give up so easily especially after Boulder gave them such a death note.

Brechen followed at a leisurely pace, glad to have finally done something to the benefit of the pack. Now that the patrol was over, he looked around camp for someone to talk to, or maybe Dusk. Something had seemed off with him; usually he wasn't so hard hearted. The only wolf he spotted of any interest was a young fae just coming out of the dens. Her silvery green eyes drew attention to themselves, and he found himself unable to look away.

Kia rolled around breathy sweetly.

Brechen sat down where he was and watched her, laughing at himself inwardly.
