The mare snorted as she looked at her adopted baby, he was at least three weeks old if not three months...Shaking her black and white body a bit, she nuzzled the colt and looked at the stallion again. She nodded then she spoke, ears perked a bit. "My name is Brooke Where Small Fish Swim. But you may call me Brooke. His name is Heart and Soul, but call him Wander. Will you kill him?" she asked seriously.

The little tan and white colt snorted, tipping his head to the side a bit as he watched the stallion. He looked up at his mother as she again nuzzled him. He blew out a tiny breath, and he nuzzled her back. His ears perked, and he lifted a small hoof.

She huffed and shook her head, nearly jumping as the stallion spoke in her ear. She shook her head as she said "No...Not exactly. I found him stuck in the brambles and freed him." She looked at the stallion again and shrugged.
