Anna made her way towards the paddock where Happy Night was. She looked around and called for her stallion. "Cricket!"Her words were gentle and kind and as she waited for the horse to come she looked away. Frowning she called out again, but with no reply she made her way into the paddock. She however was stopped as her phone rang. She made her way out of the paddock and answered it as she made her way to the car, the girl rolled her eyes and spoke gently "Clark calm down.. honey, calm down. Is he okay? Okay good.. honey you need to calm, He'll be okay, Clark I can't come down today, Ring me in the morning and let me know and i'll come down first thing." Anna tried to calm her sister who was worried about her 4 month old son was burning up and Clark was freaking out. Anna sighed gently and went to her dorm.

Jack walked along contently. He flicked his ears and grazed contently. Tossing his mane up gently before looking around with curiosity. He listened as his owner called out to Cricket and he looked up seeing Cricket look up but not he didn't seem to want to go over. He shrugged contently watching the other male before turning and grazing contently.

Cricket looked up as his name was called, he flicked his ears forwards but didn't go over. Deciding he'd rather stay with Jack and graze. The bay Arabian flicked his ears forwards then continued to graze contently.

Sassy's ears flicked, she'd been put in with some other mares, but she personally didn't care and showed no attention to them. Instead the bay mare grazed silently. After a moment she rubbed her nose on her throat and lowered her body and rolled around. scratching her body.

Embry was sitting in her room unpacking things into the dorms drawer. She had two other girls in the dorm with her, Kara and and Sharkira. There were two double beds and a single. She'd placed her stuff on a double bed, letting the two other girls sort out who had the other beds. She unpacked her stuff and changed the bed covers to hers. They were zebra covers. She covered her bed and grabbed her pillows an put a zebra print cover on them as well. Smiling gently she then looked at her kitten who was sitting in a crate from the trip. Embry smiled and pulled her kitten out of the crate and placed him onto her bed. She smiled sweetly at her pretty kitten and stroked Zen before making her way and finishing her unpacking.She stroked the kitten as he meowed and smiling she grabbed his bed down next to her new bed. Smiling softly as the kitten purred she grabbed a ball with a bell in it and tossed it onto the bed for the kitten to play with.

Cindy grazed silently and flicked her ears forwards. Nickering gently she picked up a trot and cantered around contently. Occasionally the mare threw in a nasty buck and then continued her gallop. Bucking and bouncing the mare flared her nostrils widely as she bolted along bucking and rearing.

Sooty flicked his ears and grazed silently in the same paddock as her mare friend, She looked at Cinderella and nickered gently before bobbing her mane and carefully grazing watching as Cindy ran around like a foolish little mare. But Cindy was incredibly smart so Sooty simply smiled and grinned gently before grazing contently. looking to her colt as he nursed she smiled.

Charles looked at his mother and siled turning to her mothers side and nursing contently. He bobbed his head briefly and shook out his little body. before standing by his mother.

Shakira burst into the dorm to see a girl with slight tanned skin and light brown hair that looked almost the same as hers. "Hi, you must be Embry?" Shakira asked poking her body from out behind the door as she dragged her stuff behind her. Shakira looked at the double bed and noticed Embry had taken it and then moved to the single bed closest to the window. She smiled quickly at Embry feeling slightly awkward before throwing her stuff onto the bed. She stretched and looked around the large room. It was nice, very nice actually quite quaint and sophisticated at the same time. Just how Shakira liked it.

Sitting on her bed, Shakira looked out the large window and gazed down to look at all the horses and floats. There were so many people out attending there horses! And so many pretty looking horses too! Shakira wondered how she even made it into this academy, she wasn't that good, she was more leaning towards natural horsemanship and didn't like using real force against her horses unlike typical english riding standard. Shakira unpacked her stuff and placed all her books, horse magazines on the medium sized desk next to her bed. She didn't feel like unpacking her clothes, she wanted to go out and exercise Paco, and put Vogue and Luna in the meadow together to get used to the new place. "Well I'm going out to exercise my horse if you would like to join me?" she asked nervously, pushing her suitcase underneath her bed. She pulled out a pair of black jodphurs with a large lime green stripe down them, she unzipped her jeans and threw them onto her bed (in front of Embry) and pulled her joddies on. She slipped on her boots once again and looked to the girl awaiting a response.

Paco looked around his stall. It was large and smelled nice. The seven year old stallion neighed loudly and snorted, baring his teeth as passer-goers. Stomping his hoof he wanted to go outside in the meadow and run around. Or be exercised by Shakira. Mostly exercised by Shakira. Paco flattened his ears as he listened to Luna carrying on like a child and snorted at her, Luna looked at Paco and bared her teeth through the bars. Vogue shook her head and nickered softly to the two to try and calm them down.

Embry looked up and nodded"Hm? oh yes, I'm guessing your Shakira? and yes. just gimme a minute"She spoke gently and grabbed her kitten placing him into his crate with his bed so if the other girl came in he wouldn't run out. She stroked him and set him on the other side of the bed away from view so no one would annoy him. She turned around and grinned, good, atleast the girl wasn't shy. SHe didn't seem to be as confident as Embry was. Embry reached for a short sleeved english riding training shirt and pulled off her tank top tossing it onto her bed. She pulled her shirt over her body and bra and then stripped off her shorts and grabbed some black sticky bum jodhpurs, the sticky bum part of them was an aqua color which matched nicely with her black shirt which had aqua coloured edges. Though the girl was not one for fashion, she dressed her best around people. She didn't plan to wear a bright pink shirt and these jodhpurs. She reached for her long boots and pulled them on then grabbed her helmet and spurs. As she quickly did up her spurs she looked at the girl and spoke gently "My mare is in her paddock, I'll meet you in the arena?"She murmured softly and made her way out to the paddock.

She whistled for Cindy and the chestnut Arabian came trotting up to the gate. Embry hooked the white lead rope onto the mares aqua head collar and opened the gate leading her to the stables. As she reached there she gave the mare another piece of licorice. Cindy was so sweet, the arab loved her treats. Smiling she groomed her mare and picked out her hooves. Embry had had the Arabian crossed tied because the mare could not be tied with one rope. So two white ropes tied her to the walls and the mare stood calmly. Embry reached for the aqua coloured saddle pad and her brown bates close contact jumping saddle, she used this one for training, she had two, this one and a proper leather one. She wiped the saddle down then grabbed a girth and steadied it on the Arabian mare, fixing it in place she did the girth up loosely. Returning to where she had placed her tack she grabbed a brown leather hunter bridle with a flat brow band and a flat cavesson nose band. She'd grabbed the leather and webbed reins and placed them onto her bit.

Embry slipped her helmet on and tightened the mares girth before slipping the reins over her neck. As she passed the tack room she grabbed her black gloves and went out to the outdoor arena where some jumps were set up. They averaged height, most were at a meter, a few training jumps were 70 -90 cm's, so good for Cindy to warm up over. Embry nudged the mare into a trot and got her working nicely, asking the mare to go into a frame and extend out. The mare did so beautifully. After a bit the girl slowed the mare back to a walk deciding to wait for Shakira to come before she properly got started.

As her owner called, Cindy went cantering towards her owner. She waited patiently as she was groomed, saddled and everything else. The arabian mare followed her owner out to the arena and when mounted the mare pricked her ears forwards seeing the jumps. Wanting to jump instantly, the mare gave a little rear, Embry sat well and asked Cindy to trot. Cindy was reluctant at first but trotted along extending out and working in a frame. The mare came back to a walk when asked and calmed quietly and contently walked around long and low.

Kara laughed, pulling Roman to her other side gently, whilst grabbing her suitcase with her other hand. She began to walk in the direction of the stables."Roman! Don't be so rude! She leaned over to glance down at Finn's clipboard, then dug through her tack trunk, searching for her own. It was nearer the bottom, so, unsurprisingly, it came out a little wrinkled and ripped around the edges. She hadn't even thought about checking out the schedule, being so occupied with her stallion who was just bursting at the seams with attitude. She did see that same schedule block as Finn's on her paper, though, so at least she wouldn't be on her own. "Don't worry; it looks like I'll be at the same place," she commented, holding up her schedule. Lessons didn't seem to be starting until tomorrow, so at least Ashton could hope for a chance to get on her horse later tonight. The outdoor ring looked well taken care of, and honestly she couldn't wait to get out there.

"So," she continued, "Do you have a horse to ride here?" She turned to point at the picture of her stallion. As usual, he was tucked and focused, his thick stallion-tail billowing out behind him. "That's Hero, my horse,"Ash elaborated, "He just got here today, with all of the student horses,"[/color]

Heidi struggled to get the large stallion to move. “Ugh, you are so melodramatic!” She exclaimed. Suddenly she heard a voice, “Hey there”. She didn’t know if he was talking to her or not, so she quickly turned. The man looked at her and smiled kindly. He had dark eyes and seemed a bit older that her. She laughed, “He can be a bit of a drama queen.” She reached down, her long hair flowing over her shoulders and plucked a handful of grass. “But he’ll do anything for food”. The horse was instantly interested in the grass, and Heidi began getting him to move toward the stable. “Im Heidi by the way,” she smiled at the man before the speakers rang out ”all first years must make their way to the great hall in twenty minutes. Please put your horses in their stalls and your bags in your assigned dorms.”. She sighed at the stallion before speaking happily “I guess I better be going!”

Stitch

Stitch planted his feet in the ground, unmoving while Heidi struggled. Suddenly she seemed distracted by something, but Stitch didn’t care. Heidi then reached down and grabbed some grass. He really wanted that grass! He decided he would be a good boy and listen to his owner so she would feed him.

Heidi laughed, “Sure, this is Stitch by the way. He can be annoying sometimes, but I love him anyway. I’ll go stuff him in his stall and we can go. He’s on the end so it shouldn’t take long.” Heidi smiled and quickly walked Stitch to his stall, enticing him with a hand full of grass. She pulled off his forest green halter, gave him the grass, and shut the door. On her way back outside she pulled out her map. Once she spotted Lewis she said, “All right, ummm... I’m guessing it’s the large building over there,” she glanced at her map, “yup, that looks like it. Lets go.”

Ashton peered over at the flashy flaxen stallion on Finn's screen. "What a pretty blue eye; those are rare in sport horses, nowadays," she commented, speaking to no one in particular. She made sure to keep pace with her fellow instructor; she had arrived late at night two days earlier, and the majority of today was spent settling her horse into his new stall. As expected, he didn't care about much except for getting to the bucket on the ground with his feed in it. The last thing that Ash wanted to do at this point was to get lost, ask one of her pupils for directions, then arrive late to the first year's assembly, so the petite woman stuck close to Finn as they turned the corner and arrived in front of a tall, heavy-looking oak door. "I suppose this is it...?" Ashton asked, reaching forward to grab the door handle.
