nyx lifted her head away from the water and looked at the brute nodding to his comment about his name. He had no reason to be rude toward her, if anything she could of given him away. Her ears pinned back and she growled some "I got it." her voice was more firm then it had been when she had started talking to him before but she rolled her eyes, now it was clear this male was not a part of the pack but a creature of the woods. Only more proovin when he said that he would never join a pack causing her to look away from him and sit back on her haunches keeping an eye on him as he paced up and down the waters edge "I have no intention as asking you to join the pack. Even with out you saying what you just did it was clear you weren't looking for a pack anyhow. Besides its not my place to do so. ending her comment she flicks her tongue from her muzzle securing any run away drops of water that had managed to get away from her tongue the first time. This male was odd, normally she didn't have trouble talking to someone even someone that wasn't within the pack that she was calling her home. But thing brute called maverick was something else, not only did he not want to be in a pack he seemed to also not want to be spoken too. Then again he was still here talking to the unnamed female of the pack that called herself nyx. Her autumn eyes looked away from him but she could feel his nervousness leaking off of him like a wound may fester "why do you act so nervous? If I wanted to give you away I would of done it by now." her eyes didn't move from her reflection in the water nor did she move from her seated position.

Cosette released a silent yawn before getting up from camp. The young she-wolf looked around again before heading off somewhere unknown. She looked around for anyone- a pack mate, a loner, even a rogue to speak with. [WB on Cosette; terrible sorry!]

Chandler pawed at the soft, flowing river's water. It always soothes him, but of course he was always fond of the water. The brute's ears perked up, hearing a little rustle of some kind. To make sure that it wasn't just a pestering hare; Chandler lifted up his nose to catch a scent. Of who though? It was very unfamiliar; definitely not anyone from his pack or anyone that he had met yet. He turned around, looking at the horizon of the river's surrounds and spoke in a very firm and rough voice. "Who's there?"

The femme thought she was safe to go before the male asked who was there. There was no way she could run again. Okay. Get your way out. Slowly, she poked herself up out of the bushes, her small frame tensed under her dusty red fur. Pointed ears faced him warily, wide brown eyes on his. Please be a nice wolf. "I- sorry..." She looked around, showing that she would go if she needed to. Her tail was not tucked though. Nor was her head down. It was a tad odd considering she seemed so uncertain. But it was more that she was uncertain of strangers.

The brute eyed the female in front of him as she came out. A dusty red pelt, elk fur colored eyes, basically half the size of him. She didn't look like much a threat so Chandler became less tense of his body language and just relaxed. "It's alright. Who are you, and may I ask; what is your business here?" He asked strictly, demanding answers. Usually, he was a kind and friendly wolf, but when it came to strangers, Chandler was always a strict and alert brute. He watched the femme's body language and basically everything that she does. She didn't look like a pack wolf, and she didn't even act like a pack wolf.

She relaxed a bit as he spoke with less anger. The femme let her body relax and fur lie flat. She stepped up, a bit closer to talk to him more casually so she needn't csll out. Her small paws crunched quietly on dried leaves and twigs. "My name is Borealis. I am obviously a loner. Just being...a loner I guess." She answered with a small shrug. Alis seemed to grow more easy, eying the male warily and curiously.

A loner. That's a new one. Chandler hasn't seen a loner for a while now, but isn't a stranger to them. There were hostile loners, and then there were the somewhat peaceful once; the ones that he was very fond of and didn't really mind in the territory. "It's a lovely name.." He commented before shifting his eyes to look at hers. "What's you business here, she-wolf?" He asked, not using her name for now.

Maverick halted his pace and peered over his shoulder to look at the fae. Was she giving him attitude to prove how horrid he was acting, or just because his actions had angered her? He didn't really care which, but one thing that mattered was now she had his full attention. Intrigued, Maverick backtracked his steps towards the sitting fae and sat down beside her. ''I suppose you have a point, and I apologize. I was just unsure how you'd act to, well, a brute like me wandering near your pack.'' he replied glancing at the moving water. ''Nervous? I'm not nervous at all.'' he spoke, a bit surprised she would make such an accusation. The brute lowered to his stomach figuring he might as well act a bit nicer, realizing she could easily call him out to her pack and he didn't want a hoard of wolves to surround him. ''Alright, so as long as we're on speaking terms now, what may I call you?'' the brute spoke slowly trying his best to keep him tone more friendly and not so furious like it always had been.

The femme sat down, her head tilted a bit. Alis gave him a look when he chose not to use her name. Well alright. She flicked her ears in slight irritation. "Just wandering. Not planning on causing trouble." She liked being around other wolves as it was comforting he was not completely alone. In case she got in trouble someone would hear. Alis looked at him in a more relaxed manner, taking in his features to remember him. "Could I ask for your name?" She would actually use it.

Not much has happened, just most of the wolves have found someone to talk to. Though, i think there are a few not talking to anyone. You can throw Crow in anywhere.
