Name"Well that was clearly stated as Paradox."
Age"Three and a half years. I've seen plenty already."
Gender"..Who is this guy." Fae/female
Pack"Midnight."
Rank"Hunter."

D E T A I L S

E Y E SParadox's watch is a mosaic parade with shades that seem to be counterfeited from the grass she treds. Their lustrous formation glint with cryptic flecks of jade and deep aquamarine. A pause might zap your entire frame should you make eye contact for the first time.

B O D YIf you were to ramble on about every ring, stripe, and blotch of every marking, you'd be here a while. All in all, Paradox's coat is simply "salt and peppered". Most of her is white, but there's still plently of slates and platinums in her fur. Around her eyes is an obsidian ring as though put there to purposely intensify her glances. An iconic symbol for wolves. Her paws are lean but dense as concrete if times call for a stubborn positon hold. At the same, they can gallop with the liberation of every gust of wind in the skies. Her tail tends to frey and frizz in times of distress while her ears are more rounded and downy.

P E R S O N A L I T Y"I guess we should get more personal. What you know now is my name and how I look. I'll give you a little more of an in depth description, hey? Well I'm pretty keen on joking. I'm lousy at cheering people up, but I'll try anyways. I'm not exactly sweet as a berry or soft and smooth as a freshly blossomed flower petal either. I've been told I'm easy to talk to when I'm in less of a soul-crushingly pessismist stuck mood. I like to mutter to myself when alone just to feel like someone is listening when I don't want them to. I don't like being asked personal questions, and I hate the smell, thought, sight, idea, suggestion, sound, or talk of
Image
love. It's the stuff of nightmares and I've seen it myself. No need. Why not be humble and remain alone to serve? I'm not exactly a stickler about the rules, but I love my position. A hunter. Taking them down. The adrenaline always gets to the heads of a good wolf huntress in the best way. I'll take you down in any way, shape or form if you decide you're beastly enough to attack me in any sense. Successful revenge is one of my favorite things to acheive.

Speaking of, it isn't hard to tell that I'm not the best influence or the brightest star to follow. There's a darkness. There are skeletons that follow me. There are evils I embrace. I might smile during a tragic event if it suits me. I might manipulate or twist words but all in all, I do what I can to leave that to the darker side of me. The other half doesn't have much light. Just the reflection of others that keeps me sane. I try to be seen as a wolf worth respecting. But I'm someone who's inexcusably common with failure in practical or non-practical things. It's hard when there's a loathesome end to you. I won't trouble you with this nonsense anymore. To conclude, don't piss me off. Don't act weak or desparate because I will attack your soft spot in a literal and figuartive sense. Scoldings don't always faze me. And last, I try to be a good-souled wolf. But on the inside, I dance with the fire from the core of malice.

H I S T O R YParadox has lived a full enough life, even in her three years. She started out as pup loyal to her father and mother, not questioning the difference between their coat colors and how it seemed to be impossible. They were red wolves with eyes of amber, whereas Paradox with a coat of snow and ash and eyes of jade leaves seemed to be a misfit. She was the only one. The only pup. And her young life dragged on for many more months of travelling and weary heads turning to look over their shoulder at all times. There was always doubt in her mind, wondering why her caretaking parents always seemed to be living in such fear. Why they seemed to be detached and never show her the love she wished for.

One day at the age of 8 moons, the forest was set ablaze. Paradox and her family retreated into a frigid
Image
pool with no second thoughts, only to inconveniently bump into a much larger wolf pack. The smell of hate and fear was new to Paradox. She discovered it that day as it rose in the air despite their damp and slick coats. Through the argument and attacks launched, Paradox realized that her parents weren't hers. Her mother suffered a mental breakdown as an ex-member of this pack, kicked for inability to stay away from the nursery. She was a threat, always watching the pups with bare eyes. The mothers weren't sure what she'd do, and they wouldn't risk it. So she was sent off, only to cascade into the blindest of rages and steal the pup of the alpha female. It was the ultimate revenge. Take away what is most precious to the leader of the very wolf who cast her out. Paradox had been a pawn in the game of retaliation. There was a cold shift in the air as two snaps echoed from the neck of Paradox's false mother. Her body collapsed as she crumbled into the pool, shifting the transparent liquid into a more vile crimson. The fight between them all left her false mother dead and her father a coward who had run almost before it began. Paradox's shame and embarassement lasted for ages as she chose the life of a loner, refusing to remain with even her true biological wolf parents.

Image
At the age of 1 year and 3 moons, Paradox collided with a brute-wolf named Creek, finding him striking and interesting as they conversed instead of ripping each others throats out at first sight. The two managed to fall for each other, even though he was reluctant due to having lost his mate recently. They mated for life, swearing a pack of their own would be created. And it was a success. At only 1 year and 7 moons, Paradox's first litter was born. The family was inseparable until a deathly sickness was cast over everyone but her. It infected every pup. All five. And her mate. After it spread throughout them, they began to drift into waves of agonizing pain every hour of every day. All you would hear was the wimper of her beloved offspring and the cries and yelps of Creek. One day, overwhelmed by her helplessness, Paradox did something with the rationalization in mind that it would give them peace for an eternity. She ended their lives one by one in the most careful, hasty, merciful way she could. Her breath fell into slower, colder puffs from that day on. And her once luminous teal green eyes crystallized into a hardened moss shade. Every day she mourns their loss. Not one twilight do her thoughts allow her to forget.

She thought a life after this was impossible. The isolated, bitterly cold winters wore her down. Injuries from fights gave her bad bones. But then this pack was found. And with a weary, mistrusting eye, she still managed to give herself the strength to enter. Ever since then, the havoc in her heart has been distracted and she could finally be centered on other things. Better things..

I trot along the sloping hillside. My boredom had finally forced me from the pack territory. I sigh, the air escapes from my lips with the soft sound of my lips flapping. I lift my nose and inhale, testing the air for any near by mammals. I catch a rabbit or two and a doe. I know hunting for yourself only was frowned upon and against my own prinicipals. I sneak closer. I get into a bush, i crawl closer until the doe became alerted. I watch as her muscles ripple. My heart begins to race, the adrenaline pumps. My instinct wants to take over and run to sink my teeth into her flesh. I know i cant take her down by myself but fun was never ruled out. I crawl closer and her head shoots up. I prepare to launch. I flick my ears forward. I place my paws under me. I throw power into my hind end and run from the edge of trees. The doe spots me and flees. I give chase. Lets see how far i could go before fatigue sets in. My legs surge and strive out to eat the earth as it comes. My head is low with my hackles raised. We are nearing pack territory. She must have smelt the scent of others wolves because she dodges right. She looks over to see if im tailing. I gain a few feet. She runs faster. I can hear her breathe becoming labored, but so was mine.

The day was nice. Not too hot, not too cold. Just perfect. I laid in the sun the sun warming my belly. I flick my ears to keep from the flies pestering me. I swish my tail also. The flies begin to bother me increasingly. I lift my head and haul myself off the ground. I thrust myself into a full bodied shake, i wanted to remove the access dirt before i made my trek to the stream to roll in mud. I glance about seeing a stray wolf or two. I turn and shft to a trot. I point my body into the direction of a small stream i knew of. The flies follow me at this speed. I shake my head and groan. At this rate it would take me all day to get there. I jump into a run.

It doesnt take me long now. Maybe two hours at a full out run. A rest then running again. I find some mud around the edge of the water. I walk to the middle and sink down. I roll around covering my whole body in the thick fly relieving stuff. I smirk in my head and decide to take alittle nap along the edge. I will just go back tonight.

|| The Quiet One || The Peaceful One || The Helpful One ||

→ Introduction

This pretty little female's name is Cheyenne, named after the Native American tribe. She also goes by the nickname of 'Chey', so you are open to calling her that. She's about five years of age. She has a rightful place in the Moonlit pack, and her rank is Beta Female. She's a beautiful white wolf. Let's get to know more about her.

→ Appearance

White, white, white. Cheyenne's thick fur coat is pure white. It makes her almost invisible in the winter, but stands out in the other seasons. That's not the only thing that stands out with her physical appearance - her eyes do too. Her striking eyes are bright amber, like the color of Fall leaves. She is considered slightly small than most wolves, a little under average size for a Female. Cheyenne is not powerful at all, but boy, she can run. Speed, stamina, agility, she's the whole package when it comes to running. She's probably the best runner in the pack, but she she doesn't really like to show off. She's never been cocky about her running skills either. She always shocks anyone who ever got to see her run. Cheyenne just loves the feeling of the wind whistling past her ears, the feeling of almost floating across the ground, the wind rushing through her fur. When Cheyenne is running, her mind is always at its best. When she runs, she can think clearly. She is also the most peaceful when she runs.

→ Personality

Cheyenne is usually quiet. She doesn't say something until needed. But Chey is not the quiet type that lets others step all over her without saying anything. She states her opinions. She defends herself and her closest friends with powerful and bold words, something you wouldn't expect out of a weak, quiet female. When Cheyenne speaks regularly, her voice is usually cool and collected. Cheyenne is not really what you would call a 'social butterfly'. She's not very open about things with most wolves. If she makes friends, its the other wolf that introduces themself first, never Cheyenne. She's also quite smart. Ever heard of 'The most quiet ones think the most'? Well, that's Cheyenne. She thinks. She thinks a lot.
Cheyenne is also always willing to help at any cost. She's always up for a task, even if it is extremely dangerous. She is willing to do anything to help anyone out. Cheyenne is never one to start a fight. She doesn't like fights. Never has, never will. But if it involves defending her pack or someone she loves, Cheyenne will do what it takes.

→ History

Cheyenne was born into a small pack, consisting of her parents, her brother, and a former loner. She lived a normal life for about a half a year. She had wonderful parents, a playful brother. That all changed one day. One day when the poachers came. Cheyenne and her brother were playing in the clearing of the pack camp, her parents and the other pack member happily watching. Out of nowhere, an eagle swooped down, trying to snatch up one of her packmates. Then, there were deafening cracks sounding through the forest. Poachers. Cheyenne didn't dare to look back at her parents or anyone else in her pack. She knew what had happened to them. So Cheyenne took off, away from that horrible place, away from the danger, but also away from her beloved home and family. She ran. She ran fast. She ran hard. Faster than any yearling could. Away. She eventually found a pack, and has been living there ever since she was a yearling. This horrible moment in Cheyenne's life has caused her to be terrified of eagles. She doesn't tell really anyone about her past, and she tries to forget about it, but it always remains in the back of her mind.

→ Love Life

Cheyenne likes the idea of love. She has never loved, but she is curious to know what it feels like to love another brute. She is open to having a crush, and might just form one.

→ Pack Life

Cheyenne is the Beta Female in Moonlit. She is perfectly fit for the rank, even though she doesn't seem like it with her quiet nature. She's very intelligent, and has amazing running skills. Don't underestimate her. She's much more powerful with words than you think.

||. gяιzz .||

|| The Wise One || The Tough One ||

→ Introduction

Grizz is the name. Everyone called him that, due to his bulky build, rough voice, and dark fur. It just kind of stuck. Grizz doesn't have a nickname, and doesn't want one. And anyways, you can't really shorten it. His age is five and a half years old, and he's gone through a lot in that time. Grizz's gender is definitely a male, and his rank is Lead Fighter of the Midnight pack.

→ Appearance

Grizz's dark coat is a mixture of black, grey, and white. The majority of it is black, though. There is a splotch of white fur under his chin, making it look as he has some sort of beard. His coat starts out at a dark shade of black, then continues down his body with lighter shades until it ends at his grey paws. He has a bigger and bulkier body build than most, with broad shoulders and thick layers of muscles. Grizz's years and years of fighting have given him wondeful skills and experience. His eyes are a deep shade of yellow, almost amber color. He has plenty of scars and nicks from the abuse of his master, but the most visible ones are the slash on his muzzle and the one on his left front paw, causing him to permanently miss a claw.

→ Personality

Grizz is never one to judge. No matter how old or young you are, or what you look like, or how muscular or weak you are. To simply put it, he just doesn't care. Those things don't matter to him. He's mastered hiding his emotions, his face usually blank and his eyes far away in thought. Grizz does have a sense of humor, but it's pretty hard to figure out. He thinks its hilarious when other wolves are clueless. You can definitely make him crack a smile. Though, most of the time, he's serious and likes to get the job done.
He's a very good listener, also. He obeys his Alpha and would risk anything for his pack. When someone disagrees with him, he tries to understand their opinion and seek the benefits or bad things about it. He's smart about it, because he knows that snapping and yelling won't work to get his way.
He's not kind, though he's not mean. He's just sort of... in the middle. He rarely shows kindness and only shows his mean side in battle. Grizz is just sort of serious, and again, he doesn't usually show emotion.
Grizz is very experienced and wise, and he thinks he'd like to pass some of his ideas and teachings on to someone else younger than him. He finds joy in teaching other wolves. He likes to see them be successful. He likes to see them learn. So, to sum it up, he is wise, experienced, serious, intellegent, and not one to judge.

→ History

→ Love Life

Grizz has had a few flings in his day, but has never really fallen in love. It's not as much of a priority to him. Serving his pack and Alpha are the things he puts first. He could possibly fall for some female, but it's not a very big chance. He has never had pups, but the tumbling little balls of fur and cuteness amuse him.

→ Pack Life

Grizz is the Lead Fighter of the Midnight pack. He's got a stocky, sturdy, muscle-bound body, and quick thinking in battle. These characteristics make him perfectly fit for the rank.

Squinting his eyes, chest heaving with rapid rhythm- Talekov surveyed the area trying to see where the other wolf was. Ahh, there. It was a brute, and stood quite a little distant away. Yet, there was no mistaking that he was male given his stature and body. He had a limp hare with him. And he also stood near his territory.

For a few seconds nothing happened. He just looked atthe brute who watched him calmly. Then the brute lowered his head in a respectful manner and let the hare drop just when Talekov's priorities ended. He dipped his head, and took the hare again, retreating cautiously, aware of Talekov's position. The alpha brute did nothing to stop him. He just watched as the other wolf retreated after apologizing. Well, not many loners apologized, so given the situation, Talekov would let the brute slip. Sure, he was not part of his pack and he'd hunt in his land, yet, Talekov knew it was harder to go alone, and specially during winter. Maybe this hare was the least he could catch for this last days. And if that was, Talekov was fine with it. Because at least they still had a group of hunters and a kill pile. Many reasons at last, the alpha didn't care. So he just stood in the brisk cold wind, watching the loner disappear into the unknown. What a strange encounter.

I am~ "In no man's land."
My current emotion~ "Apathetic."
My relationship status~ "Mateless I believe."

Retreating silently into the shadows the multi-colored wolf glanced behind him, back at the alpha. His ears twitched forward and he growled softly, his own way of saying thank you. He was thankful for the alpha for not doing anything as most would attack immediately if they found out a loner was hunting on their land. Moving forwards he weaved through the trees until another scent hit his noise, one of a female loner mixed with blood. Hunting on pack land and her howl only confirmed his suspicions, he shook his head with a light smirk across his face. Daring the loner must be or perhaps figuring a way to upset the pack members. it was none of the brute's business and he decided to leave it at that. Padding along the forest with silent steps and farther away from the border, scenting the wind for any prey within neutral territory but he knew there was hardly a chance at that. Most of the animals were in their dens or burrowed beneath the ground to seek warmth from the coldness of winter. Picking up the pace he walked among the forest with a long strider, his fur swaying back and fro as he walked with cautiousness. His ears swerved forwards when he heard a faint trickling sound not that far from his position. Following the sound he sighed softly when he found a small creek that had not yet completely froze over.

Lapping up the still cold water, his dry throat created a low growl of satisfaction to emit from chest. After drinking he raised his head up and gazed around, droplets of water tricking down onto his chest from underneath his snout. He was in a familiar part of no man's land now that he was quite a distance from the Midnight borderline and knew that Moonlit was perhaps less than a quarter mile from where he stood. Shaking his fur he exhaled sharply, his breath coming out in a icy mist as he padded along the creek, paws somewhat sinking in the soft snow as he walked. His stomach growled at him for hunger and White Fang picked up the pace, sniffing as he walked for any scents of prey around. It was a low chance to find it but he had to take it.
