________
MIDNIGHT PACK
ALPHA MALE
NOT CRUSHING
READY TO GO
________
Squinting his eyes, chest heaving with rapid rhythm- Talekov surveyed the area trying to see where the other wolf was. Ahh, there. It was a brute, and stood quite a little distant away. Yet, there was no mistaking that he was male given his stature and body. He had a limp hare with him. And he also stood near his territory.
For a few seconds nothing happened. He just looked atthe brute who watched him calmly. Then the brute lowered his head in a respectful manner and let the hare drop just when Talekov's priorities ended. He dipped his head, and took the hare again, retreating cautiously, aware of Talekov's position. The alpha brute did nothing to stop him. He just watched as the other wolf retreated after apologizing. Well, not many loners apologized, so given the situation, Talekov would let the brute slip. Sure, he was not part of his pack and he'd hunt in his land, yet, Talekov knew it was harder to go alone, and specially during winter. Maybe this hare was the least he could catch for this last days. And if that was, Talekov was fine with it. Because at least they still had a group of hunters and a kill pile. Many reasons at last, the alpha didn't care. So he just stood in the brisk cold wind, watching the loner disappear into the unknown. What a strange encounter.

I am~ "In no man's land."
My current emotion~ "Apathetic."
My relationship status~ "Mateless I believe."
Retreating silently into the shadows the multi-colored wolf glanced behind him, back at the alpha. His ears twitched forward and he growled softly, his own way of saying thank you. He was thankful for the alpha for not doing anything as most would attack immediately if they found out a loner was hunting on their land. Moving forwards he weaved through the trees until another scent hit his noise, one of a female loner mixed with blood. Hunting on pack land and her howl only confirmed his suspicions, he shook his head with a light smirk across his face. Daring the loner must be or perhaps figuring a way to upset the pack members. it was none of the brute's business and he decided to leave it at that. Padding along the forest with silent steps and farther away from the border, scenting the wind for any prey within neutral territory but he knew there was hardly a chance at that. Most of the animals were in their dens or burrowed beneath the ground to seek warmth from the coldness of winter. Picking up the pace he walked among the forest with a long strider, his fur swaying back and fro as he walked with cautiousness. His ears swerved forwards when he heard a faint trickling sound not that far from his position. Following the sound he sighed softly when he found a small creek that had not yet completely froze over.
Lapping up the still cold water, his dry throat created a low growl of satisfaction to emit from chest. After drinking he raised his head up and gazed around, droplets of water tricking down onto his chest from underneath his snout. He was in a familiar part of no man's land now that he was quite a distance from the Midnight borderline and knew that Moonlit was perhaps less than a quarter mile from where he stood. Shaking his fur he exhaled sharply, his breath coming out in a icy mist as he padded along the creek, paws somewhat sinking in the soft snow as he walked. His stomach growled at him for hunger and White Fang picked up the pace, sniffing as he walked for any scents of prey around. It was a low chance to find it but he had to take it.
