Fawn's injury enraging the stallion, Ricochet reared up and began to bombard Shard with kicks and bites. With a feirce shove Ricochet shot forward slamming into the other stallion with every ounce of strength he could muster.

"No," Ricochet said sternly, "You should have done what I said and left the fight. A full grown stallion is no battle for a filly! You are not idestructable and you need to grow before you could even think of doing something like that!" Fuming with anger he tossed his mane. "You are obviously wounded, broken rib I believe, and the only thing I can offer as treatment is rest. Listen to me this time!" Fear boiled underneath the rage Ricochet was showing. Broken bones are serious and would leave his herd weakened. They couldn't leave their area. Instinct was urging him to dispose of this weak link in the herd, yet reason told him no. It was young and small and the loss of a fantastic foal as Fawn would hurt the herd.

Trigger let out another neigh and moved closer to the conflict she had heard.

Aria saw the other mare, she looked at Ricochet " Ricochet" she said and tossed her head to the unknown mare.
Fawn stood, it didn't hurt, she smiled " it was a bruise" she murmerd quietly

"You are lucky it was just that." Ricochet snorted. Hearing Aria, his head shot up and he flared his nostrils in case it was the stallion again. Instead he noticed the bay horse hovering a bit away from their group. Slowly he approached her and sniffed her out. The mare didn't show any signs of aggression so he nosed her towards the others. "Welcome to our herd." Ricochet neighed.

Trigger was hesitant, yet this is what she had been longing for: a herd. She walked up to the other mare and sniffed her out before saying, "My, er, name's Trigger." Glancing back at the black stallion who nodded his head, she held her own high in a sudden display of confidence.

Fawn backed up, she wet back to the tree and sighed. " I disappointed daddy.. My new one, I disappointed my last daddy, and he left me, will he leave me? " she whispered to herself
