Crescent heard rustling and her eyes fluttered open. She blinked a few times before standing up and looking at Thunder. "How Is your leg feeling" she said, examining it for herself.

"Better." Thunder replied, licking it.

Thunder nodded and limped out the den. He felt something - it was snowing!

Crescent looked over at Thunder and studied his surprised expression. She walked over to see what he was looking at and she smiled. Snow! Real snow! It haden't snowed for years and years, not since she was a pup. She walked further out and looked around at the snow covered ground and forest.

Thunder limped forwards with her, not a smell of deer or anything! It must of snowed over night.

Crescent was amazed how quickly It could go from blazing hot to snowing and pawed the snow, just to make sure she wasent dreaming.

Thunder limped out more to get blasted with cold snow.

He padded back to where Thunder was, trudging through the crunching crisp snow underfoot. As he neared, he let out a long howl to let him know he was coming. When he finally crossed the distance, he turned to Thunder. "As I am the Alpha's son, I would like to ask for the position of Alpha. If you do not give it up willingly, I will challenge you" he said, dominance and authority radiating from his voice.

Crescent looked at Shadow with disgust. "What kind of wolf would challenge his own uncle when he was injured" she growled at him, stepping in front of him.
